The present invention relates to a method for producing a heteropolyacid compound, and a method for producing a heteropolyacid compound and methacrylic acid.
It is known that heteropolyacid compounds containing phosphorus and molybdenum can be widely used as heterogeneous catalysts in various fields. For example, the use of heteropolyacid compounds as catalysts for producing methacrylic acid by gas-phase catalytic oxidation of methacrolein has been studied. Note that when such a heteropolyacid compound is used as a catalyst, the yield (conversion rate and selectivity) of the product obtained is greatly affected by the performance of the heteropolyacid compound used, so it is important to improve the performance of the catalyst. Various manufacturing methods have been proposed.
For example, in JP-A No. 2012-245432 (Patent Document 1), in its Examples, a solution containing ion-exchanged water, nitric acid, and orthophosphoric acid is mixed with a suspension containing ion-exchanged water and ammonium molybdate tetrahydrate. A method of adding dropwise to the solution with stirring, further adding a suspension containing antimony trioxide, copper nitrate trihydrate, and ion-exchanged water, stirring to obtain a slurry, and then drying and baking the slurry. is disclosed.
The heteropolyacid compound obtained by the production method described in Patent Document 1 above showed sufficiently high catalytic performance when used in the production method of methacrylic acid; There is also room for improvement in the method in terms of obtaining compounds with higher yields.
The present invention was made in view of the problems of the prior art, and when used as a catalyst in a gas phase catalytic oxidation reaction, it is possible to improve both the conversion rate and the selectivity, and to achieve a higher yield. Further, as the nitrate to be contained in such aqueous mixture (A), from the viewpoint of stability of the heteropolyacid salt, nitrates containing the atom X (cesium nitrate, potassium nitrate, rubidium nitrate, thallium nitrate) are more preferable, and among them, , cesium nitrate is particularly preferred. By using such a nitrate containing an atom X, it becomes possible to incorporate the atom X into the resulting heteropolyacid compound, which makes it possible to exhibit higher performance when used as a catalyst. .
Moreover, the aqueous mixture (A) may further contain acids other than nitric acid and phosphoric acid.
(About the aqueous mixture (B))
The aqueous mixture (B) may contain a molybdenum compound and water to form an aqueous mixture, and its form is not particularly limited. For example, it may be an aqueous solution containing a molybdenum compound. Alternatively, it may be an aqueous slurry containing a molybdenum compound. In addition, as such water, ion exchange water is preferable.
Further, the molybdenum compound to be contained in such aqueous mixture (B) is not particularly limited, but examples thereof include tetramolybdate, heptamolybdate, octamolybdate, molybdenum trioxide, and tetramolybdate. , heptamolybdic acid, octamolybdic acid, monomolybdate, dimolybdate, trimolybdate, pentamolybdate, hexamolybdate, molybdenum halides, and other molybdenum compounds. If hydrates of these compounds exist, the hydrates may be used). Among these molybdenum compounds, molybdates are more preferable from the viewpoint of solubility, and at least one selected from tetramolybdates, heptamolybdates, octamolybdates, and hydrates thereof. One type is more preferable.
Examples of the tetramolybdate include diammonium tetramolybdate [(NH 4 ) 2 Mo 4 O 13 ], disodium tetramolybdate [Na 2 Mo 4 O 13 ], and dipotassium tetramolybdate [K 2 Mo 4 O 13 ].
Examples of the heptamolybdate include hexaammonium heptamolybdate [(NH 4 ) 6 Mo 7 O 24 ], hexasodium heptamolybdate [Na 6 Mo 7 O 24 ], hexapotassium heptamolybdate [K 6 Mo 7 O 24 ].
Examples of the octamolybdate salt include tetraammonium octamolybdate [(NH 4 ) 4 Mo 8 O 26 ], tetrasodium octamolybdate [Na 4 Mo 8 O 26 ], and tetrapotassium octamolybdate [K 4 Mo 8 O 26 ].
Further, as such a molybdenum compound, an ammonium salt of molybdic acid is preferable, and diammonium tetramolybdate, hexaammonium heptamolybdate, and tetraammonium octamolybdate are particularly preferable.
It is preferable that the aqueous mixture (B) further contains a vanadium compound in addition to the molybdenum compound. By further containing a vanadium compound in the aqueous mixture (B), it becomes possible to obtain a heteropolyacid compound that can exhibit better performance when used as a catalyst. Such vanadium compounds include vanadium-containing oxoacids, oxoacid salts, oxides, nitrates, carbonates, bicarbonates, hydroxides, halides, and ammine complexes. More specific examples of such vanadium compounds include vanadic acid, vanadate salts (metavanadates) such as ammonium vanadate (ammonium metavanadate), vanadium oxide, vanadium chloride, and the like. Two or more types of such vanadium compounds may be used as necessary. Moreover, as such a vanadium compound, ammonium vanadate (ammonium metavanadate) is more preferable from the viewpoint that the cation contained is an ammonium ion.
Note that it is preferable that the aqueous mixture (B) does not contain nitrate ions (NO 3 − ), and even if nitrate ions are contained, the molar ratio of nitrate ions to 12 moles of molybdenum ([nitric acid ions]/[Mo]) is preferably 0.01/12 or less. Thus, it is desirable that the aqueous mixture (B) does not contain nitrate ions (the molar ratio of nitrate ions to 12 moles of molybdenum is 0/12). Therefore, it is preferable not to use nitric acid and the above-mentioned nitrates when preparing the aqueous mixture (B).
Further, the method for preparing such an aqueous mixture (B) is not particularly limited, but for example, a molybdenum compound and water are mixed (if necessary, other components may be added together with the molybdenum compound and water). (adding and mixing the above vanadium compound, etc.) may be adopted. Further, the amount of water used during the preparation of such aqueous mixture (B) is preferably 1 to 20 parts by mass per 1 part by mass of molybdenum contained in the resulting aqueous mixture (B). In addition, when preparing the aqueous mixture (B), the order of mixing the above-mentioned components, temperature, stirring conditions, etc. are not particularly limited and may be set as appropriate. In addition, when preparing the aqueous mixture (B), from the viewpoint of dissolving the molybdenum compound, the molybdenum compound is added to water heated to 30 to 90°C and mixed (if necessary, the molybdenum compound is further mixed with the molybdenum compound). It is preferable to add and mix other ingredients. In addition, from the viewpoint of keeping the molybdenum compound dissolved even after its preparation, such aqueous mixture (B) should be used in the mixing process while being maintained at the temperature heated during preparation (30 to 90°C). It is preferable to do so.
Note that the aqueous mixture (A) and the aqueous mixture (B) may each contain components other than the above-mentioned compounds. Such other components are not particularly limited, and depending on the design of the target heteropolyacid compound, known components that can be used to prepare a heteropolyacid compound can be used as appropriate.Among them, phosphorus atoms, Compounds containing atoms other than molybdenum atoms and copper atoms can be suitably used. Note that such other atoms are not particularly limited as long as they can be included as constituent atoms of the heteropolyacid compound, but preferred examples include the atom X, the atom Y, and vanadium. It will be done. In addition, the compounds containing other atoms to be contained in the aqueous mixture (A) and the aqueous mixture (B) include components that are not contained in one of the aqueous mixtures and are included in the aqueous mixture described below. It is preferable to select and utilize components not contained in (D). For example, when a vanadium compound is contained in the aqueous mixture (B), a compound other than the vanadium compound is selected as the compound to be contained in the aqueous mixture (A). It is preferable to appropriately select and use the components to be used depending on the components to be used.
In addition, examples of compounds containing such other atoms (compounds other than the above-mentioned nitrates) include oxoacids, oxo acid salts, oxides, nitrates, carbonates, and bicarbonates containing the other atoms. Examples include salts, hydroxides, halides, and ammine complexes. Moreover, when a hydrate exists in such a compound, the hydrate can be used. As such a compound, a compound containing an atom X, a compound containing an atom Y, and a vanadium compound are preferable.
Note that, from the viewpoint of inclusion in the aqueous mixture (A), among these compounds, the compound containing the atom X is more preferable. Note that such atom X is preferably cesium. Further, as compounds containing the atom Bicarbonates such as cesium; hydroxides such as potassium hydroxide, rubidium hydroxide, cesium hydroxide; halides such as potassium chloride, rubidium chloride, cesium fluoride, cesium chloride, cesium bromide, cesium iodide, etc. Can be mentioned. As a compound containing such an atom X, one type may be used alone, or two or more types thereof may be used in combination, if necessary.
(Regarding mixing conditions, etc. in step (1))
In step (1), the aqueous mixture (A) and the aqueous mixture (B) are mixed with nitric acid in an amount of 1.2 to 2.0 mol (more preferably 1.2 to 1.9 mol) per 12 mol of molybdenum. mol, more preferably 1.6 to 1.9 mol). If the proportion of nitric acid during such mixing is less than the above-mentioned lower limit, the properties of the aqueous slurry C will change markedly, and the resulting catalyst activity will tend to decrease. On the other hand, if it exceeds the above-mentioned upper limit, the properties of the aqueous slurry C will tend to decrease. As a result, the methacrylic acid selectivity of the resulting catalyst tends to decrease.
Furthermore, in the step (1), the aqueous mixture (A) and the aqueous mixture (B) are mixed so that the ratio of phosphorus atoms to molybdenum atoms is 1.2/12 to 1.8 in terms of atomic ratio (P/Mo). /12 (more preferably 1.3/12 to 1.7/12, still more preferably 1.4/12 to 1.6/12). By setting the content of phosphorus atoms within the above range, it is possible to improve the conversion rate of the resulting catalyst, and it is more effective in that it is possible to produce a catalyst that can produce methacrylic acid with high productivity. tends to be obtained.
Further, when the aqueous mixture (A) contains a nitrate containing an atom X, or when the aqueous mixture (A) and the aqueous mixture (B) are mixed, a nitrate containing an atom X is added. In the resulting aqueous slurry (C), the ratio of atoms X to molybdenum atoms (atomic ratio (atoms /12, more preferably 1.2/12 to 1.8/12, particularly preferably 1.2/12 to 1.6/12). preferable. By setting the proportion of atoms There is a tendency to
In addition, when a vanadium compound is contained in the aqueous mixture (B) or when a vanadium compound is added at the time of mixing the aqueous mixture (A) and the aqueous mixture (B), the resulting aqueous slurry (C) In the atomic ratio (V/Mo) of vanadium atoms to molybdenum atoms, the atomic ratio (V/Mo) is more than 0/12 and 3/12 or less (more preferably 0.01/12 to 3/12, still more preferably 0.4/Mo). It is more preferable to use a vanadium compound so that the ratio is 12 to 0.6/12, particularly preferably 0.45/12 to 0.6/12). By setting the vanadium atom content within the above range, it is possible to produce a catalyst with high activity, and a higher effect can be obtained in that it is possible to produce a catalyst that can produce methacrylic acid with high productivity. In this way, in step (1), an aqueous slurry (C) can be obtained by mixing an aqueous mixture (A) containing nitric acid and a phosphorus compound and an aqueous mixture (B) containing a molybdenum compound. .
Further, the specific method for obtaining the aqueous slurry (C) is not particularly limited, but for example, the aqueous slurry (B) is heated under stirring conditions in the aqueous mixture (B) maintained at the temperature heated during preparation (30 to 90°C). The aqueous mixture (A) is added dropwise in the step, and then the resulting mixture is stirred while being kept at a temperature of 100°C or higher (more preferably 100 to 200°C, still more preferably 110 to 150°C) in a closed state. It is preferable to adopt a method in which the aqueous slurry (C) is obtained by: As described above, as a method of stirring the mixture while keeping it in a closed state at a holding temperature of 100°C or higher (more preferably 100 to 200°C, still more preferably 110 to 150°C), for example, a reaction vessel such as an autoclave can be used. It is preferable to adopt a method in which the mixture is sealed in a container and stirred under the condition of the holding temperature in a sealed state. The holding time at such a holding temperature is preferably 0.1 hours or more (more preferably 2 hours or more) from the viewpoint of catalyst activity, and preferably 20 hours or less from the viewpoint of productivity. . Further, the pressure conditions when stirring at the holding temperature in a closed state are not particularly limited, but are usually in the range of 0.10 to 2.0 MPa (more preferably 0.11 to 0.0 MPa in absolute pressure). 60 MPa) is preferable. Such a pressure can usually be achieved by keeping the temperature at the above-mentioned temperature in a sealed state, and depending on the type of the mixture, etc., it may be possible to achieve it without making any special adjustments by adjusting the vapor pressure of water, etc. However, depending on the type, etc., the pressure may be adjusted as appropriate by pressurizing with an inert gas such as nitrogen or helium. Note that when maintaining the temperature at 100°C or higher in a closed container, the pressure inside the container may be adjusted. For example, when maintaining the temperature at 100°C or higher in the closed container, The pressure may be adjusted so as to maintain a specific pressure by setting a threshold value for the pressure within the sealed container using a closed container suitably equipped with a pressure detection means, a pressure detection means, a pressure control means, and the like. As a method of adjusting the pressure, for example, a closed container is equipped with a pressure regulating valve, a relief valve, etc. as a pressure regulating means, and when the pressure inside the sealed container exceeds a specific threshold, the pressure regulating valve or relief valve is set. After opening a valve such as a relief valve to adjust the pressure in the sealed container so that the pressure is below the threshold, the pressure is maintained below the threshold by closing the pressure regulating valve or relief valve again. Alternatively, a method of adjusting the pressure inside the container may be adopted.
Further, it is preferable that the aqueous slurry (C) obtained in this manner is used in the step (2) described below while being maintained at the above-mentioned holding temperature. This makes it possible to stabilize the physical properties of the catalyst.
In the aqueous slurry (C ) obtained in this way, ammonium ions (NH 4 + ) may be included. Note that such aqueous slurry (C) preferably contains nitrate ions (NO 3 − ) and ammonium ions (NH 4 + ). Sources of such ammonium ions include, for example, ammonium salts of molybdic acid mentioned above, ammonium salts such as ammonium vanadate (ammonium metavanadate), ammonium salts other than such ammonium salts (ammonium nitrate, ammonium carbonate, hydrogen carbonate), etc. (ammonium, ammonium acetate, etc.), ammonia, etc. In addition, when mixing the aqueous mixture (A) and the aqueous mixture (B), the above-mentioned ammonium ion supply source may be added separately. Further, when the aqueous slurry (C) contains nitrate ions (NO 3 − ) and ammonium ions (NH 4 + ), the amount of ammonium ions per mole of nitrate ions is 3.0 to 5.5 moles (or more). The amount is preferably 3.2 to 5.0 mol, more preferably 3.3 to 4.7 mol).
In addition, when preparing the aqueous slurry (C), when mixing the aqueous mixture (A) and the aqueous mixture (B), depending on the design of the target heteropolyacid compound, the aqueous mixture (A) and ( Other components not included in B) and known components that can be used for preparing heteropolyacid compounds may be added as appropriate. As such other components, compounds containing atoms other than phosphorus atoms, molybdenum atoms, and copper atoms can be suitably used. In addition, such a compound containing another atom is similar to the "compound containing another atom" explained as a compound that can be included in the aqueous mixture (A) and the aqueous mixture (B). It is something.
[Step (2)]
Step (2) is by mixing the aqueous slurry (C) and an aqueous mixture containing a copper compound (D) such that the amount of copper is 0.01 to 0.20 mol per 12 mol of molybdenum. This is a step of obtaining an aqueous slurry (E). Hereinafter, first, the aqueous mixture (D) used in step (2) will be explained, and then the mixing conditions etc. will be explained.
(About the aqueous mixture (D))
The aqueous mixture (D) may contain a copper compound and water to form an aqueous mixture, and its form is not particularly limited. For example, it may be an aqueous solution containing a copper compound. Alternatively, it may be an aqueous slurry containing a copper compound. In addition, as such water, ion exchange water is preferable.
Such copper compounds are not particularly limited, but include, for example, copper oxide, tetraammine copper dinitrate, copper carbonate, copper hydroxide, copper chloride, and the like. As such a copper compound, a copper salt is preferable. As such a copper salt, copper nitrate is more preferable from the viewpoint of solubility. Note that such copper compounds may be used alone or in combination of two or more thereof, if necessary.
Moreover, it is preferable that the aqueous mixture (D) further contains a compound containing the atom Y in addition to the copper compound. The compound containing the atom Y (preferably Sb) and the copper compound may be added simultaneously or separately. Examples of compounds containing such an atom Y include oxoacids, oxoacid salts, oxides, carbonates, hydroxides, halides, etc. containing the atom Y, and if necessary, these compounds may be added. Two or more types may be used. Examples of compounds containing such an atom Y include arsenic compounds, antimony compounds, boron compounds, silver compounds, bismuth compounds, iron compounds, cobalt compounds, lanthanum compounds, and cerium compounds. Among them, antimony compounds are more preferred. Thus, it is preferable that the aqueous mixture (D) contains an antimony compound in addition to the copper compound.
Examples of such antimony compounds include antimony trioxide, antimony tribromide, antimony trichloride, antimony triiodide, antimony triacetate, and antimony triethoxy. Such antimony compounds may be used alone or in combination of two or more, if necessary. Moreover, among such antimony compounds, it is more preferable to use antimony trioxide from the viewpoint of not containing a halogen element or an organic compound as an anion.
In addition, in addition to the above-mentioned compound containing the atom Y, known components that can be used for preparing a heteropolyacid compound can be appropriately used in the aqueous mixture (D), depending on the design of the target heteropolyacid compound. , a phosphorus atom, a molybdenum atom, and a compound containing atoms other than copper atoms can be used as appropriate. In addition, such a compound containing another atom is similar to the "compound containing another atom" explained as a compound that can be included in the aqueous mixture (A) and the aqueous mixture (B). It is something. Here, as the compound to be contained in the aqueous mixture (D), it is preferable to appropriately select and utilize a compound other than the components contained in the aqueous slurry (C). For example, when the aqueous slurry (C) contains a compound containing the atom X or a vanadium compound, it is preferable to select and use a compound other than these compounds.
In addition, the method for preparing such an aqueous mixture (D) is not particularly limited, but for example, a copper compound and water are mixed together (if necessary, other components may be added together with the copper compound and water). (Adding and mixing a compound containing the above-mentioned atom Y, an acid, etc.) may be employed. Further, the amount of water used when preparing such an aqueous mixture (D) is preferably 40 to 90% by mass (more preferably 45 to 70% by mass) based on the resulting aqueous mixture (D). . In addition, when preparing the aqueous mixture (D), the order of mixing the above-mentioned components, temperature, stirring conditions, etc. are not particularly limited and may be set as appropriate.
(About the mixing conditions etc. of step (2))
In step (2), the aqueous slurry (C) and the aqueous mixture (D) are mixed with copper in an amount of 0.01 to 0.20 mol (more preferably 0.10 to 0.20 mol) per 12 mol of molybdenum. 20 mol, more preferably 0.11 to 0.15 mol). If the copper content is less than the lower limit, the activity of the resulting catalyst tends to decrease, while if it exceeds the upper limit, the methacrylic acid selectivity of the resulting catalyst tends to decrease.
When the aqueous mixture (D) contains a compound containing the atom Y, or when the aqueous slurry (C) and the aqueous mixture (D) are mixed, the compound containing the atom Y may be added. In the aqueous slurry (E), the content ratio of atoms Y to molybdenum atoms is more than 0/12 and 3/12 or less (more preferably 0.01/12 to 3/12) in terms of atomic ratio (atomic Y/Mo). , more preferably 0.1/12 to 3/12), it is more preferable to use a compound containing the atom Y. By controlling the content of such atoms Y within the above range, it becomes possible to produce a catalyst that can produce methacrylic acid with good productivity.
In addition, the obtained aqueous slurry (E) may contain ammonium ions (NH 4 + ) together with nitrate ions (NO 3 − ), but when these are included, the ratio of nitrate ions to ammonium ions is 1 It is preferable that the amount of ammonium ion is 1 to 20 moles per mole.
In addition, when preparing the aqueous slurry (E), when mixing the aqueous mixture (C) and the aqueous mixture (D), depending on the design of the target heteropolyacid compound, the aqueous mixture (C) and ( Other components not included in D) and known components that can be used for preparing heteropolyacid compounds may be added as appropriate.
Further, the specific method for mixing the aqueous slurry (C) and the aqueous mixture (D) to obtain the aqueous slurry (E) is not particularly limited, but for example, The aqueous mixture (D) is added under stirring conditions to the aqueous mixture (C) maintained at a holding temperature of more preferably 100 to 200°C, even more preferably 110 to 150°C, and then the resulting mixture It is preferable to adopt a method of obtaining the aqueous slurry (C) by stirring the slurry while keeping it at the holding temperature in a sealed state. As a method of stirring the mixture while keeping it in a closed state at the holding temperature, for example, it is preferable to adopt a method of stirring the mixture in a closed state in a reaction vessel such as an autoclave under the condition of the holding temperature. . The holding time at such a holding temperature is preferably 0.1 hour or more (more preferably 2 hours or more) from the viewpoint of the catalytic activity of the compound obtained, and 20 hours or less from the viewpoint of productivity. It is preferable that there be. Further, the pressure conditions when stirring at the holding temperature in a closed state are not particularly limited, but are usually in the range of 0.10 to 2.0 MPa (more preferably 0.11 to 0.0 MPa in absolute pressure). 60 MPa) is preferable. The magnitude of such pressure is normally a magnitude that can be achieved without special adjustment by adjusting the vapor pressure of water in the mixture, etc. by keeping the temperature at the above-mentioned temperature in a closed state. Depending on the type of aqueous mixture to be used, if necessary, the magnitude of the pressure may be adjusted as appropriate by pressurizing with an inert gas such as nitrogen or helium. In addition, when holding at a holding temperature of 100°C or higher in a closed container, use a closed container that is appropriately equipped with pressure adjustment means, pressure detection means, pressure control means, etc., and set the threshold value of the pressure inside the closed container as appropriate. It may be adjusted to a specific pressure. In this manner, when stirring the resulting mixture while maintaining it at the above-mentioned holding temperature, the pressure may be appropriately adjusted while maintaining it at the above-mentioned holding temperature.
Note that the aqueous slurry (C) obtained in step (1) and the aqueous slurry (E) obtained in step (2) each have a viewpoint that it is possible to obtain a compound having better catalytic activity. It is preferable that it be obtained by holding at the above-mentioned holding temperature (holding temperature of 100° C. or higher) in a closed container. Among the aqueous slurries (E), those obtained by carrying out step (2) by the methods described in a) to c) below are more preferable.

Can be adopted as appropriate. Further, the drying conditions may be appropriately set so as to sufficiently reduce the water content in the aqueous slurry (E), and are not particularly limited, but it is preferable that the temperature condition during drying is less than 300 ° C.
In addition, before performing the below-mentioned calcination process (including the below-mentioned pre-calcination process) on the dried product obtained by drying the aqueous slurry (E), the desired shape (ring-shaped , a pellet shape, a spherical shape, a cylindrical shape, etc.). For such molding treatment, methods commonly used in this field, such as tablet molding and extrusion molding, can be appropriately employed. In addition, during such molding treatment, water, a molding aid, a pore agent, etc. may be added to the dried material, if necessary. Examples of such molding aids include ceramic fibers, glass fibers, and ammonium nitrate. Preferably, the ceramic fiber is a biosoluble fiber. In particular, ammonium nitrate has a function not only as a molding aid but also as a pore agent.
The biosoluble fiber contains at least one selected from Na 2 O, K 2 O, CaO, MgO, SrO and BaO, and the content thereof in the biosoluble fiber is 18 to 43% by mass. In addition, since it is possible to obtain a uniform and more stable heteropolyacid compound from the molded body (hereinafter sometimes referred to as dried product) obtained by such a molding process, it is possible to obtain a homogeneous and more stable heteropolyacid compound. It is preferable to perform temperature and humidity control treatment before applying. The method of such temperature and humidity control treatment is not particularly limited, but for example, the molded body is exposed to an atmosphere with a relative humidity of 10 to 60% at a temperature of 40 to 100° C. for about 0.5 to 10 hours. It is preferable to adopt the method. Such temperature and humidity control processing may be performed, for example, in a temperature and humidity controlled tank, or by spraying temperature and humidity controlled gas onto the molded article. , the specific processing method is not particularly limited. Further, as the atmospheric gas when performing such temperature and humidity control processing, air is usually used, but an inert gas such as nitrogen may also be used.
In addition, from the viewpoint of removing the ammonium nitrate contained in the dried product obtained by such a drying process and changing the structure of the heteropolyacid compound, the dried product is heated with an oxidizing gas or non-oxidizing gas as a pre-calcination prior to the firing described below.

Furthermore, when performing the pre-firing step prior to such a firing step, it is preferable to perform the firing step at a higher temperature than the temperature employed in the pre-firing step.
In addition, in such a calcination step, in particular, from the viewpoint of increasing the catalytic activity when the obtained heteropolyacid compound is used as a catalyst, it is recommended to perform calcination under an oxidizing gas or non-oxidizing gas atmosphere. It is preferable to adopt a method in which multi-stage firing is performed in an oxidizing gas atmosphere, and a two-stage firing method in which the first stage firing is performed in an oxidizing gas atmosphere, and then the second stage firing is performed in a non-oxidizing gas atmosphere. It is more preferable to adopt

Moreover, such a raw material gas may contain nitrogen, carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, water vapor, etc. as components other than the methacrylic acid raw material and oxygen.
In addition, the methacrylic acid raw material contained in the raw material gas does not necessarily have to be a highly purified product. For example, methacrolein obtained by gas phase catalytic oxidation reaction of isobutylene or t-butyl alcohol can be used as methacrolein. The reaction product gas containing can also be used without being purified to high purity methacrolein. Note that the number of methacrylic acid raw materials contained in the raw material gas may be one type, or two or more types.
In addition, in such a method for producing methacrylic acid, the reaction conditions for the gas phase catalytic oxidation reaction may be appropriately set depending on the type of methacrylic acid raw material contained in the raw material gas. For example, when methacrolein is used as the raw material for methacrylic acid, the reaction conditions that are usually adopted when using the raw material include a concentration of methacrolein in the raw material gas of 1 to 10% by volume, and a concentration of water vapor of 1 to 30% by volume. %, the molar ratio of oxygen to methacrolein was 1 to 5, the space velocity was 500 to 5000 h -1 (standard conditions), the reaction temperature was 250 to 350°C, and the reaction pressure was 0. The gas phase catalytic oxidation reaction may be performed under conditions of 1 to 0.3 MPa. In addition, when isobutane is used as the methacrylic acid raw material, the reaction conditions that are usually adopted when using this raw material are that the isobutane concentration in the raw material gas is 1 to 85% by volume, and the water vapor concentration is 3 to 30% by volume. , the molar ratio of oxygen to isobutane is 0.05 to 4, the space velocity is 400 to 5000 h -1 (standard state reference), the reaction temperature is 250 to 400°C, and the reaction pressure is 0.1 in absolute pressure. The gas phase catalytic oxidation reaction may be performed under conditions of ~1 MPa. Furthermore, when isobutyraldehyde or isobutyric acid is used as the raw material for methacrylic acid, generally the same reaction conditions as when methacrolein is used as the raw material can be employed. The "space velocity" referred to here can be determined by dividing the amount of raw material gas supplied per hour (L/h) passing through the reactor by the catalyst capacity (L) in the reactor. .
After being subjected to the gas phase catalytic oxidation reaction in this manner, the post-treatment operation of the reaction product gas containing methacrylic acid obtained is not particularly limited, and any known method may be appropriately selected and utilized. In addition, as a post-treatment operation for such a reaction product gas, for example, it is preferable to perform an operation in which the reaction product gas is condensed or absorbed in water, and then separated and purified. In addition, when such a separation and purification process is adopted, when an unreacted methacrylic acid raw material is recovered, the raw material can be reused (recycled). Further, the exhaust gas after the post-treatment may be subjected to treatment such as combustion as necessary and reused (recycled) as the above-mentioned inert gas source.
In this way, in the presence of the heteropolyacid compound obtained by the method for producing a heteropolyacid compound of the present invention or the heteropolyacid compound of the present invention, the methacrylic acid raw material is subjected to a gas phase catalytic oxidation reaction. By doing so, methacrylic acid can be obtained.
Note that the obtained methacrylic acid can be suitably used as a raw material for producing a methacrylic acid ester, for example, by reacting with an alcohol (esterification reaction) in the presence of an esterification catalyst. Furthermore, a preferred embodiment of the method for producing such a methacrylic ester is an embodiment in which methyl methacrylate is produced by using methanol as the alcohol. [Activity test of heteropolyacid compound (10)]
An activity test was carried out in the same manner as in Reference Example 1 [Activity test of heteropolyacid compound (1)] except that heteropolyacid compound (10) was used instead of heteropolyacid compound (1). The results of the activity test are shown in Table 2.
As is clear from the results shown in Tables 1 and 2, when heteropolyacid compounds were prepared using the method for producing heteropolyacid compounds of the present invention ( Reference Examples 1 to 2 and Examples 1 to 4 ), In contrast to the case where a heteropolyacid compound was prepared using the production method adopted in the comparative example, the case where methacrylic acid was produced from methacrolein using the obtained heteropolyacid compound as a catalyst in a gas phase catalytic oxidation reaction. In addition, it has been found that both the methacrolein conversion rate (%) and the methacrylic acid selectivity (%) can be made sufficiently high, making it possible to achieve a higher yield. From these results, when used as a catalyst in gas phase catalytic oxidation reactions, the conversion rate (%) and selectivity (%) can be made sufficiently high, and higher yields can be achieved. In order to produce a possible heteropolyacid compound, in the step of obtaining the aqueous slurry (C), the aqueous mixture (A) and the It is necessary to mix the aqueous mixture (B) with the aqueous slurry (B), and in the step of obtaining the aqueous slurry (E), the aqueous slurry (C) and the aqueous mixture (D) are mixed in a proportion of copper to 12 moles of molybdenum. It was found that it was necessary to mix them so that the amount was 0.01 to 0.20 mol.
As explained above, according to the present invention, when used as a catalyst in a gas phase catalytic oxidation reaction, both conversion rate and selectivity can be made excellent, and products can be obtained with a higher yield. To provide a method for producing a heteropolyacid compound capable of producing a heteropolyacid compound, a heteropolyacid compound obtained by the production method, and a method for producing methacrylic acid using the heteropolyacid compound. becomes possible. Therefore, the method for producing a heteropolyacid compound of the present invention can be suitably used as a method for producing a heteropolyacid compound used as a catalyst for a gas phase catalytic oxidation reaction.
