タケネート500(1,3-キシリレンジイソシアネート、m-XDI、三井化学社製)143.2g、VestanatH12MDI(4,4’-メチレンビス(シクロヘキシルイソシアネート)、H12MDI)25.0g、エチレングリコール29.2g、トリメチロールプロパン2.7g、ジメチロールプロピオン酸14.8gおよび溶剤としてメチルエチルケトン121.6gを混合し、窒素雰囲気下65~70℃で、イソシアネート基濃度(NCO%)が6.11質量%以下になるまで反応させ、透明なイソシアネート基末端プレポリマー反応液を得た。

表1に示す処方で、水と、PUD(固形分濃度30%)と、増粘剤(商品名プライマルRM-8W、ダウケミカル製、固形分濃度21.5%)と、膨潤性の層状無機化合物(商品名:NTS-5、合成マイカ、平均粒子径11μm、トピー工業社製、固形分濃度6%)とを配合し、ミキサーにて混合した。これにより、コーティング剤を得た。
装置:B型粘度計(型番RB-85)、東機産業社製
ローター; No.2
回転数:60rpm
(2)積層体
紙基材としてのコート紙(坪量40g/m2)の一方面に対して、上記のコーティング剤を、バーコーターにより塗布した。次いで、塗膜を110℃で3分乾燥させ、その後、23℃、50%RHの条件下で、2日間養生させた。これにより、紙基材の一方面にポリウレタン層を形成し、積層体を得た。
(1)コート量・外観
各実施例および各比較例で得られた積層体において、コート前の紙基材の質量と、コート後の積層体の質量とを測定し、ポリウレタン層の量を算出した。また、ポリウレタン層の外観を観察し、下記の基準で評価した。その結果を、表1に示す。
○:コート状態が不均一な部分が全体の20%以上50%未満
×:コート状態が不均一な部分が全体の50%以上
(2)酸素透過度
各実施例および各比較例で得られた積層体を、基材として使用し、ラミネート紙を得た。
実施例1の積層体の紙基材のポリウレタン層が形成される一方面に対する他方面に、エチレン・不飽和カルボン酸共重合体のディスパージョン(商品名ケミパールS300、三井化学製、固形分35%)を、バーコーターで5g/m2になるように塗布した。次いで、塗膜を120℃で1分間乾燥させた。これにより、紙基材の一方面にポリウレタン層が形成され、かつ、紙基材の他方面にアイオノマー層が形成された積層体を得た。
実施例1の積層体のポリウレタン層の表面に、エチレン・不飽和カルボン酸共重合体のディスパージョン(商品名ケミパールS300、三井化学製、固形分35%)を、バーコーターで5g/m2になるように塗布した。次いで、塗膜を120℃で1分間乾燥させた。これにより、紙基材の一方面にポリウレタン層が形成され、さらに、ポリウレタン層の上にアイオノマー層が形成された積層体を得た。
表1に記載の処方に変更した以外は、実施例1と同様に、紙基材上にポリウレタン層を形成し、積層体を得た。また、得られた積層体について、実施例1と同様に評価した。
RM-8W:増粘剤、プライマルRM-8W、ダウケミカル製、固形分濃度21.5%
NTS-5:膨潤性マイカゾルNTS-5、平均粒子径11μm、トピー工業社製、固形分濃度6%
水分散性イソシアネート:架橋剤、タケネートWD-726、三井化学製、固形分濃度80.0%
カルボジイミド:架橋剤、カルボジライトSV-02、日清紡ケミカル製、固形分濃度40.0%
なお、上記発明は、本発明の例示の実施形態として提供したが、これは単なる例示に過ぎず、限定的に解釈してはならない。当該当技術分野の当業者によって明らかな本発明の変形例は、後記請求の範囲に含まれる。
Claims (5)
- ポリウレタン樹脂および増粘剤が水分散されてなるコーティング剤であり、
前記ポリウレタン樹脂は、
キシリレンジイソシアネートおよび/または水添キシリレンジイソシアネートを含有するポリイソシアネート成分と、炭素数2~6の短鎖ジオール、および、親水性基を含有する活性水素化合物を含有する活性水素基含有成分との一次反応生成物であるイソシアネート基末端プレポリマーと、鎖伸長剤との二次反応生成物であり、
前記増粘剤が、ウレタン会合型粘性調整剤を含有し、
前記ポリウレタン樹脂および増粘剤の固形分総量に対して、前記増粘剤の含有割合が、0.1質量%以上20質量%以下である
ことを特徴とする、コーティング剤。 - 前記コーティング剤の25℃における粘度が、50mPa・s以上である
ことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のコーティング剤。 - さらに、膨潤性の層状無機化合物を含有する
ことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のコーティング剤。 - 紙からなる基材と、前記基材の少なくとも一方面に積層されるポリウレタン層とを備え、
前記ポリウレタン層が、請求項1に記載のコーティング剤の乾燥物を含む
ことを特徴とする、積層体。 - さらに、アイオノマー層を備える
ことを特徴とする、請求項4に記載の積層体。
