Description
TECHNICAL FIELD The present invention relates to a rust prevention method for preventing rust from forming on the inner surface of an existing steel pipe.
Steel pipes are known to be used as members for constructing structures such as steel towers or bridges for power transmission or communication.
By the way, in recent years, deterioration of existing structures using steel pipes has become a problem, and various repair works have been carried out. One factor that promotes aging is rust that occurs in steel pipes. If the generated rust is left as it is, the corrosion of the steel pipe progresses and becomes obsolete. Therefore, as a repair work, the outer surface of the steel pipe is periodically coated with antirust paint.
However, since the inside of the steel pipe is hollow, water such as rainwater easily enters the inside. Therefore, corrosion progresses not only on the outer surface of a steel pipe, but also on the inside of the steel pipe (the inner surface of the steel pipe). In addition, it is difficult to recognize the internal rust, and if left unnoticed, the strength of the existing structure may be reduced. Therefore, anti-corrosion treatment for the inside of steel pipes is required.
On the other hand, for example, in Patent Document 1 below, a polyurethane raw material to which a rust inhibitor is added is injected downward from the upper opening of a pipe structure constituting a power transmission tower or the like, and foamed. A pipe structure internal sealing method (hereinafter, also referred to as prior art 1) for sealing the inside of a pipe structure is disclosed.
Further, in Patent Document 2 below, a composition for rigid polyurethane foam is injected into the inside of a circular steel pipe and foamed to discharge the air present inside the circular steel pipe to the outside of the steel pipe, thereby reducing the inside of the circular steel pipe. A rust preventive treatment method (hereinafter also referred to as prior art 2) is disclosed in which a rigid polyurethane foam is filled. Specifically, Patent Literature 2 discloses a mode in which a transparent acrylic tube is used, one end of which is closed, and a rigid polyurethane foam raw material is injected from the other end to foam.
Further, in Patent Document 3 below, a relatively large hole is formed in the side surface of a hollow steel material, and a urethane raw material containing a rust inhibitor is injected into the hollow steel material through the hole to foam the urethane raw material. discloses a method of filling a hollow steel material with urethane foam (hereinafter also referred to as prior art 3).
The conventional rust prevention methods exemplified in Conventional Techniques 1 to 3 can fill the inside of the steel pipe with a member lighter than concrete or the like, so the load on the steel pipe or the structure composed of the steel pipe is small. Further, in the above-described conventional rust prevention method, polyurethane foam is formed by foaming polyurethane raw material inside the steel pipe, unlike the case where the steel pipe is filled with existing polystyrene foam. Therefore, the adhesion between the polyurethane foam and the inner surface of the steel pipe is good, and the filling property is better than when polystyrene foam is filled.
In the following description, steel pipe structures, steel pipes, and hollow steel materials may be collectively referred to simply as steel pipes.
By the way, in the method of injecting a polyurethane raw material into a steel pipe, foaming it, and filling it with polyurethane foam, it is important to prevent the formation of a gap between the inner surface of the steel pipe and the polyurethane foam in order to maintain the antirust effect. . If there is a gap between the inner surface of the steel pipe and the polyurethane foam, rainwater, oxygen and moisture in the air will enter, causing rust. Alternatively, if the insulation performance is lowered due to the gap, the difference in temperature and humidity between the inside and outside of the steel pipe becomes large, causing dew condensation, which promotes the generation of rust.
In contrast, both prior arts 1 and 2 are methods of injecting the polyurethane raw material from one end (upper end) of the steel pipe. The problem was that it was easy.
Taking a steel tower as an example, the height of the upper end opening of the steel pipe is generally about 7 to 14 m above the ground. According to the study of the present inventors, when a polyurethane raw material is injected into a steel pipe from such a high place to form a uniform polyurethane foam filled without gaps up to a height of several meters, the foaming of the polyurethane raw material And it was considered necessary to adjust the reaction rate of curing. If the timing of the reaction rate and the injection time is inappropriate, foaming and curing will start from below before the polyurethane raw material reaches the target site, resulting in uneven urethane foam formation and uniform filling. This is because there is a possibility that the state may not be realized. In this specification, the term "uniformly filled body" with respect to the polyurethane raw material means that substantially no or little unfilled portions (gaps) are visually observed.
However, it is practically difficult to adjust the timing of foaming and curing of the polyurethane raw material that is poured into a steel pipe several meters long from the top at once for the following reasons.
That is, the urethane reaction is greatly affected by environmental conditions such as temperature and humidity. Even with the same polyurethane raw material, the reaction rate becomes faster under high temperature conditions, and the reaction rate becomes relatively slower under low temperature conditions.
On the other hand, when the urethane raw material is injected from the upper end into a steel pipe with a height of about 7 to 14 m at once, the polyurethane raw material injected in the first half absorbs the heat of the polyurethane raw material injected in the latter half and the heat of the steel pipe itself. There is a possibility that the temperature may become higher than that at the time of injection due to the influence of . As a result, a significant temperature difference occurs between the polyurethane raw material injected in the first half and the polyurethane raw material injected in the second half. There is a risk that the body will not be realized.
Furthermore, when the polyurethane raw material is injected downward from a height of several meters, there is a possibility that a part of the polyurethane raw material will adhere to the inner surface of the steel pipe before it falls to the inner bottom surface of the steel pipe. The polyurethane raw material adhering to the inner surface of the steel pipe hangs down along the inner surface, but if the distance to the bottom surface is long, there is a risk that foaming and curing reactions will start during the hanging down. In such a case, there is a gap between the polyurethane foam formed by foaming and curing a small amount of the polyurethane raw material adhering to the inner surface and the polyurethane foam formed by foaming and curing the polyurethane raw material reaching the inner bottom surface. may be formed.
On the other hand, in prior art 3, a hole is formed in the side surface of the steel pipe, and a urethane raw material containing a rust inhibitor is injected through the hole. Therefore, the prior art 3 can alleviate the problems of the prior arts 1 and 2 by adjusting the positions of the holes to be formed. However, prior art 3 requires a step of forming a hole in the steel pipe and a step of plugging the hole, and the work is complicated. In addition, when drilling a hole at a height of several meters above the ground, there is also a problem that sufficient consideration must be given to the safety of the operator.
The present invention has been made in view of the problems described above. That is, the present invention can fill a steel pipe extending in the vertical direction with rigid polyurethane foam without any gaps, and can effectively prevent rusting of the inner surface of the steel pipe. To provide a rust prevention method.
The rust prevention method of the present invention is a rust prevention method for preventing rust on the inner surface of an existing steel pipe extending upward, and the side surface of the steel pipe is provided in advance before the rust prevention method is applied. An injection step of injecting a hard polyurethane raw material into the inside of the steel pipe through an existing hole, and a foaming step of foaming the hard polyurethane raw material injected by the injection step, wherein the existing hole extends in the height direction of the steel pipe. is a hole provided in plurality and closed by repeatedly removable step bolts, and the hard polyurethane raw material is injected from the existing hole exposed by removing the arbitrarily selected step bolt, and the injection step is performed. and filling the inside of the steel pipe with hard polyurethane foam by performing a filling pattern of mounting the step bolt and performing the foaming step a plurality of times toward the top of the steel pipe.
In the rust prevention method of the present invention, since the hard polyurethane raw material is injected into the inside of the steel pipe through the existing hole provided on the side of the steel pipe as described above, compared to the case where the hard polyurethane raw material is injected from the upper end opening, , it is easy to maintain the planned reaction rate of the rigid polyurethane raw material. Therefore, according to the present invention, it is possible to fill the interior of the steel pipe with the polyurethane foam without gaps, thereby effectively preventing the inner surface of the steel pipe from rusting. That is, according to the rust prevention method of the present invention, it is possible to reliably prevent rainwater and air from entering the steel pipe, and to suppress the occurrence of dew condensation, so that the rust prevention effect can be exhibited for a long period of time.
Moreover, since the rust prevention method of the present invention utilizes the existing holes provided in the side surface of the steel pipe, there is no need to drill holes. Therefore, the present invention is excellent in workability. In addition, even when the injection step of the present invention is carried out at a high place, since the existing hole provided at the high place is used, the drilling work at the high place can be omitted. The safety of people is ensured.

The present invention will be described below with reference to FIGS. 1 to 6. FIG. In all the drawings, the same constituent elements are denoted by the same reference numerals, and overlapping descriptions are omitted as appropriate. In the illustrated embodiments of the present invention, there are cases where specific members are shown relatively large or small as a whole for ease of understanding, but in any case, the dimensional ratio of each configuration of the present invention is not specified. It is not limited.
In the context of the present invention, the vertical direction means the vertical direction at an arbitrary point unless otherwise specified. It includes not only steel pipes extending vertically upwards, but also steel pipes sloping upwards. Also, as used herein, upper end means the upper end of any member, upper end means any length area including the upper end, and lower end means the lower end of any member. , lower end means any length region including the lower end.
In this specification, steel pipes are mainly described as examples of the object of the rust prevention method of the present invention, but the object of the present invention is not only steel tubular members, Broadly encompasses tubular members made of other materials that rust.
The rust prevention method of the present invention comprises an injection step and a foaming step, and is a method for preventing rust on the inner surface of an existing steel pipe extending upward. The injection step is a step of injecting the hard polyurethane raw material into the steel pipe through an existing hole provided in the side surface of the steel pipe. The foaming step is a step of foaming the hard polyurethane raw material injected in the injection step. In the rust prevention method of the present invention, the interior of the steel pipe is filled with rigid polyurethane foam through the injection step and the foaming step.
In the present invention, the injection step and the foaming step may be temporally separated steps or may overlap each other. The timing of starting the foaming process after the injection process is affected by the foaming start time and curing reaction start time resulting from the composition of the injected rigid polyurethane raw material, the weather during construction, the injection speed, and the like.
The existing hole in the present invention is an arbitrary hole that penetrates the side surface of the steel pipe in the wall pressure direction and is previously provided before the rust prevention method of the present invention is carried out. The existing holes may have any diameter as long as it allows the hard polyurethane raw material to be injected in the injection step, and the shape and intended use of the holes are not limited. A specific example of the existing holes will be described in detail in embodiments described later.
A steel pipe in the present invention is a cylindrical steel product, and is manufactured, for example, by rolling steel and forming it into a tubular shape. However, the steel pipe manufacturing method of the present invention is not limited to the above. The existing steel pipe includes not only a single steel pipe that has already been erected, but also a steel pipe that is used in an existing structure (for example, a steel tower).
The present invention will be described more specifically below with reference to FIG. FIG. 1 is a schematic diagram of a
The
FIG. 1 shows a
The hard polyurethane raw material injected into the
The present invention is not limited to the embodiment shown in FIG. 1, but includes an embodiment in which the
The rust prevention method of the present invention may be applied to any or all of the
According to the rust prevention method of the present invention described above, filling the interior of the
In addition, since the present invention utilizes the existing
Moreover, even if rust has already occurred inside the
In addition, according to the present invention, the
In FIG. 1, the
The rigid polyurethane raw material used in the present invention is a material that can be foamed and cured to form a rigid polyurethane foam after it is injected into the
The above polyol component and polyisocyanate component can be appropriately selected and used from those used for molding polyurethane foam.
Common polyol components include ester-type and ether-type polyols, but polyether polyols are preferably used in the present invention from the standpoint of durability, particularly hydrolysis resistance.
Although the polyisocyanate component is not particularly limited, generally an organic diisocyanate such as polymethylene polyphenyl isocyanate (polymeric MDI) is preferably used.
The foaming agent is not particularly limited, but non-fluorocarbon foaming agents such as water, carbon dioxide gas, and hydrocarbons are preferable from the standpoint of environmental measures.
The rigid polyurethane foam formed in the steel pipe by the practice of the present invention is not particularly limited in terms of its physical properties, but, for example, has an apparent density of 25 kg/m 3 or more measured according to JIS A 9511.
(First embodiment)
A first embodiment of the rust prevention method of the present invention will be described below with reference to FIG. FIG. 2(a) is an explanatory diagram for explaining the injection step of the first embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 2(b) is an explanatory diagram for explaining the foaming step of the first embodiment of the present invention. be.
The first embodiment will be described using a structure that includes a
In the injection process in this embodiment, a suitably selected
The injection amount of the rigid polyurethane
The vertical positional relationship between the injection height and the height of the existing
That is, with the height relationship described above, even if the
Depending on the composition of the rigid polyurethane
After the injection process is completed, the injected rigid polyurethane
By the way, a plurality of
The
The hole diameter of the existing
In order to quickly inject the hard polyurethane
In some cases, the
(Second embodiment)
A second embodiment of the rust prevention method of the present invention will be described below with reference to FIG. FIG. 3(a) is an explanatory diagram for explaining the injection step of the second embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 3(b) is an explanatory diagram for explaining the foaming step of the second embodiment of the present invention. be. The
The pouring process in this embodiment utilizes the
As shown in FIG. 3( a ), a
After the injection step, the timing of removing the
After the injection process, the rigid polyurethane
(Third embodiment)
A third embodiment of the rust prevention method of the present invention will be described below with reference to FIGS. 4 and 5. FIG. Fig.4 (a) is explanatory drawing explaining the 1st injection|pouring process of 3rd embodiment, FIG.4(b) is explanatory drawing for demonstrating the 1st foaming process of 3rd embodiment. Fig.5 (a) is explanatory drawing explaining the 2nd injection|pouring process of 3rd embodiment, FIG.5(b) is explanatory drawing for demonstrating the 2nd foaming process of 3rd embodiment.
According to the studies of the present inventors, when a steel pipe of several meters to several tens of meters is filled with rigid polyurethane foam in a single injection process and foaming process, physical properties such as apparent density and compressive strength of the rigid polyurethane foam However, it was found that there are cases where there is a significant difference in the vertical direction of the rigid polyurethane foam. In such a case, the filling state tends to become non-uniform, and as a result, there is a risk that gaps may occur in the steel pipe.
For example, according to the conventional technique of injecting polyurethane raw material from the upper end opening of the steel pipe all at once toward the bottom of the steel pipe, the urethane reaction is an exothermic reaction, so heat is accumulated near the lower end of the steel pipe, resulting in a temperature difference in the injected raw material in the vertical direction. As a result, it was presumed that the difference in physical properties in the vertical direction was likely to occur due to the difference in foaming and curing conditions, as described above. Further, even if there is no temperature difference in the vertical direction, if the temperature inside the steel pipe rises too much, the formed
The third aspect of the present invention will be described below as a rust prevention method that can satisfactorily prevent significant vertical differences in the physical properties of the rigid polyurethane foam that is filled inside the steel pipe described above, and that prevents heat build-up inside the steel pipe. An embodiment will be described.

In the present embodiment, first, as shown in FIG. 4(a), a lid portion (step The bolt 28) is removed, and the hard polyurethane
The timing of reattaching the
After the completion of the above-described first filling pattern, as shown in FIG. 5(a), the upper surface of the
After the second injection step, as shown in FIG. 5(b), a second foaming step is performed to form a
After the
As described above, the present embodiment is characterized in that the filling pattern is performed multiple times toward the upper side of the
The hard polyurethane
According to this embodiment in which the filling pattern is repeated multiple times, in the
As a result, the foaming and curing conditions of the injected rigid polyurethane raw materials (46A, 46B) can be avoided from being significantly different in the interior of the

Although the first to third embodiments of the present invention have been described above, such description does not limit the present invention in any way. Part of the aspect can be changed as appropriate without departing from the scope of the present invention. For example, in the second embodiment, the drain hole is used as the existing hole, but the step bolt above the drain hole is removed to expose the existing hole, and the existing hole is used. Then, an injection step and a foaming step can be further performed.

(cross-section observation)
When the cross section cut at the above heights h1 to h9 (the lower cross section among the opposing cross sections) was visually observed, it was confirmed that there were few unfilled portions (gaps) and a good filled state. In addition, the rigid polyurethane foam exposed in the cross section was visually observed to be in a substantially uniform foam state, confirming that the foam state was good.

As a result, it was confirmed that the number of injections of the rigid polyurethane raw material injected into the
(evaluation)
As a result of the observation of the cross section and the measurement of the apparent density, it was confirmed that the filling state and the foam state were good at any height (h1 to h9), and that the rigid polyurethane foam was filled with excellent filling properties and no gaps. . Also, the difference in apparent density at any height (h1 to h9) was less than 10% with respect to the set apparent density of 30 kg/m 3 . From the above results, the filling state and the foam state were evaluated to be good in all of the first filling pattern, the second filling pattern, and the third filling pattern of Example 1.
