Description
The present disclosure relates to an electric storage system and a control method thereof.
2. Description of the Related Art A power storage system is known that is connected to a power system and can supply power temporarily stored in a storage battery to a load via a power conversion device during a power failure or the like. A power storage system that is also connected to a photovoltaic power generation system (hereinafter also referred to as a photovoltaic system) and stores generated power (surplus power) exceeding the power supplied to a load in a storage battery is also known.
2. Description of the Related Art A grid-connected power storage system connected to a power grid and a photovoltaic system normally performs grid-connected operation, and performs self-sustained operation during a power failure. The auxiliary input terminal of the power storage system is connected to an independent output terminal of a PCS (Power Conditioning System) of the solar system, and supplies power input from the independent output terminal of the solar system to the auxiliary input terminal to a specific load. The power storage system charges a storage battery inside the power storage system with the surplus power of the solar system. In a state where power is being supplied from the solar system to the specific load, if the power generated by the solar system decreases and becomes smaller than the power consumption of the specific load, the power is supplied to the specific load by discharging the storage battery inside the power storage system.
When switching from the power supply by the solar system to the power supply by the storage battery system, it is required to ensure that the power supply to the specific load is not interrupted. Therefore, it is desirable to switch the power supply in as short a time as possible. The switching of the power supply is normally performed at the timing of zero crossing (voltage of 0 V, phase of 0°), as disclosed in Patent Document 1 above. In that case, it is necessary to wait for a maximum of one AC cycle (maximum of 20 msec if the frequency is 50 Hz) before the zero crossing, which delays the start of the self-sustained output of the power storage system.
Accordingly, an object of the present disclosure is to provide a power storage system capable of self-sustaining output in a short time and a control method thereof.

[overall structure]
With reference to FIG. 1 , the
The

The
The
Moreover, the
Referring to FIG. 1 ,
In switching

With this configuration, the
When the output power of the
Specifically, the
As described above, when the output power of the
It takes a certain amount of time (delay time) from when the
In FIG. 5, the vertical axis represents voltage and the horizontal axis represents time. The arrow labeled “OFF instruction” indicates the timing at which the
If the predetermined time T0 is set to the predetermined time Δt=10 msec, the time difference between the loss of the auxiliary input and the start of the independent output is a value obtained by subtracting the delay time of the

[Control action]
The operation of
In
At
In
On the other hand, if the determination result in
At
At
In
At
At
A phase difference is calculated with respect to the reference signal. The phase difference is positive if the phase of the feedback signal leads the reference signal, and negative if the phase lags. If the phase difference is positive, the
The self-sustaining output by the inverter 130 (conversion of the DC voltage of the
N=3×20000/60 である。
For example, the switching frequency is 20 kHz (=20000 Hz), the target frequency is 60 Hz, and the frequency of the self-sustaining output voltage is adjusted at a speed (frequency adjustment processing speed) of changing 1 Hz in three cycles of the target frequency (60 Hz). In this case, the number of times of processing N for 3 cycles is
N=3×20000/60.
Expressing the phase difference Δθ in units of radians,
Δθ (rad)=1/20000×2π. The phase difference Δθ means the phase difference corresponding to the frequency to be changed (here, 1 Hz).
Therefore, the phase change amount Δφ is Δφ=Δθ/N=π×10 −7 .
By repeating
FIG. 8 shows that the target frequency is set to 60 Hz, and the self-sustained output voltage reaches the target frequency after three cycles have passed since the self-sustained output started at the lower frequency of 59 Hz. The two solid waveforms represent signals at 59 Hz and 60 Hz. The dashed waveform represents a signal whose frequency varies from 59 Hz to 60 Hz due to frequency adjustment processing. In FIG. 8, the independent output is started from time=0 (
As described above, after a predetermined time (10 msec) after the
Also, even if the frequency of the auxiliary input voltage is different from the target frequency, by repeating
In the above description, the frequency calculated before instructing the
In the above description, after instructing the
The speed of the frequency adjustment process is not limited to the speed at which the target frequency is changed by 1 Hz in three cycles. It is optional as long as the frequency of the self-sustaining output voltage can be gradually brought closer to the target frequency.
In the above description, the case where the frequency of the self-sustained output voltage is observed to determine whether or not the frequency matches the target frequency has been described, but the present invention is not limited to this. For example, if the phase difference between the reference signal and the feedback signal is no longer detected (if the phase difference is within a predetermined range), it may be determined that the frequency of the self-sustaining output voltage has reached the target frequency.
Although the case where the frequency of the self-supporting output voltage is adjusted to the target frequency has been described above, the present invention is not limited to this. If the same frequency as the voltage supplied from the

(Modification)
Although the case where the number of power storage units is one has been described above, the present invention is not limited to this. A plurality of power storage units may be provided. For example, as shown in FIG. 9, the system may include two power storage units. The
First
The second
By being configured in this way, the
When the output power of the
Since the
On the other hand, since the second
As a result, when the output power of the
