Description
The present invention relates to a vehicle lamp.
In recent years, there has been known a technique in which a vehicle irradiates a road surface with a pattern to make a pedestrian or a driver of another vehicle recognize the pattern (for example, see Patent Document 1).
The road surface illumination device described in Patent Document 1 obtains vehicle information from on-vehicle equipment mounted on the vehicle, estimates the motion that the vehicle will perform from now on based on the acquired vehicle information, and generates a pattern according to the estimated motion. However, the configuration described in Patent Literature 1 requires a large-scale system, irradiates various patterns, and thus the lamp itself becomes large, resulting in an increase in manufacturing cost.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION It is an object of the present invention to provide a vehicular lamp that can irradiate a road surface with a pattern while suppressing an increase in size and cost.

In addition, this invention is not limited by this embodiment. In addition, components in the following embodiments include components that can be easily replaced by those skilled in the art, or components that are substantially the same.
In the following description, front and rear, up and down, and left and right directions are directions when the vehicle lamp is mounted on the vehicle and are viewed from the driver's seat in the traveling direction of the vehicle. In this embodiment, the up-down direction is parallel to the vertical direction, and the front-rear direction and left-right direction are parallel to the horizontal direction.
FIG. 1 is a diagram showing an example of a state in which a
The
The main light
The sub light
The emission direction of the light SL1 of the
The sub light
FIG. 4 is a diagram showing an example of an irradiation pattern of a vehicle lamp. FIG. 4 shows an example in which a pattern is projected onto a virtual screen around the vehicle. Line HH in FIG. 4 indicates a horizontal plane, and line VV is a vertical line that is perpendicular to the horizontal plane and indicates the center of the vehicle. The numbers on the horizontal axis in FIG. 4 are angles in the horizontal direction with respect to the VV line. Positive angles are shown to the right of the VV line, and negative angles are shown to the left of the VV line. The numbers on the vertical axis in FIG. 4 are vertical angles with respect to the HH line. Positive angles are shown above the HH line, and negative angles are shown below the HH line.
In FIG. 4, the virtual screen is provided with a central irradiation area AR1 and a visible area AR2. The central irradiation area AR1 is an area irradiated with the main light distribution MP, for example. The central irradiation area AR1, for example, in the horizontal direction, is set in a rectangular range of 20° left and right with respect to the vertical line and 10° up and down with respect to the horizontal plane, but the above range is an example. It is not limited to this.
The visible area AR2 is an area where the main light distribution MP is visible when the
As shown in FIG. 4, the main light distribution MP is formed in an area including the intersection of the HH line and the VV line. The main light distribution MP is arranged, for example, so as to overlap with a low beam pattern LP emitted from a low beam lamp unit provided in the
The sub light distribution SP is irradiated below the irradiation area of the main light distribution MP. The sub light distribution SP includes a forward light distribution SP1 that irradiates the road surface in front of the vehicle and a side light distribution SP2 that irradiates the road surface on the side of the vehicle. FIG. 4 shows a pattern of the
The forward light distribution SP1 has, for example, a rectangular shape, and has corners at the ends in the vertical direction and the ends in the horizontal direction. The forward light distribution SP1 is, for example, in a range of 10° or more and 30° or less below the HH line, and is irradiated to a region in a range of 15° or more and 70° or less to the left and right of the VV line. be.
The forward light distribution SP1 is irradiated so as to protrude downward from the central irradiation area AR1 and the visible area AR2 in the vertical direction. That is, the forward light distribution SP1 is irradiated in the central irradiation area AR1 at the upper corner C1, and is irradiated outside the central irradiation area AR1 and the visible area AR2 at the lower corner C2. The forward light distribution SP1 has a vehicle-inside corner C3 arranged in the central irradiation area AR1, and a vehicle-outside corner C4 arranged in the visible area AR2. Therefore, the forward light distribution SP1 irradiates the range inside the central irradiation area AR1 and the visible area AR2 in the horizontal direction.
The lateral light distribution SP2 is formed, for example, in a V shape. The lateral light distribution SP2 is, for example, a range of 20° or more and 50° or less below the HH line, and an area of 30° or more and 150° or less to the left and right of the VV line. be done.
The lateral light distribution SP2 is irradiated below the central irradiation area AR1 and the visible area AR2. That is, the upper end C5 of the lateral light distribution SP2 is located below the lower sides of the central irradiation area AR1 and the visible area AR2. Side light distribution SP2 is arranged so that side E2 extending upward from end C6 inside the vehicle faces side E1 connecting corner C2 and corner C4 of front light distribution SP1. The side E2 is parallel or almost parallel to the side E1, and is arranged with a predetermined distance from the side E1.
In the lateral light distribution SP2, the vehicle inner end C6 is positioned within the angle range of the central irradiation area AR1, and the vehicle outer end C7 is positioned outside the angle range of the visible area AR2. placed. That is, the lateral light distribution SP2 is provided from a position within the angle range of the central irradiation area AR1 to a position outside the angle range of the visible area AR2 in the horizontal direction beyond the angle range of the visible area AR2. In this case, the lateral light distribution SP2 irradiates the range outside the visible area AR2 in the horizontal direction.
The sub light distribution SP including the forward light distribution SP1 and the side light distribution SP2 is set such that the maximum light intensity is lower than the maximum light intensity of the main light distribution. Therefore, even when a small unit is used as the sub-light
FIG. 5 is a diagram showing an example of a case where the forward light distribution SP1 and the side light distribution SP2 are irradiated onto the road surface. As shown in FIG. 5, the front light distribution SP1 and the side light distribution SP2 are projected onto the road surface in a geometric shape such as a rectangular shape. The forward light distribution SP1 and the side light distribution SP2 have a light-dark boundary. Therefore, the front light distribution SP1 and the side light distribution SP2 are projected onto the road surface in such a manner that the irradiated areas are clearly visible to pedestrians and the like. The shape of the illumination areas on the road surface of the front light distribution SP1 and the side light distribution SP2 is not limited to a rectangular shape, and may be other shapes. For example, the forward light distribution SP1 and the side light distribution SP2 may be circular, elliptical, elliptical, or the like, may be polygonal such as triangular or pentagonal, or may be curved. may be The shape of the forward light distribution SP1 and the shape of the side light distribution SP2 may be the same or different.
In FIG. 5, the forward light distribution SP1 is emitted so that the vehicle inner edge E3 coincides with the vehicle side E4, but is not limited to this. The forward light distribution SP1 may be arranged such that the edge E3 is closer to the vehicle inner side than the vehicle side E4, or the edge E3 is closer to the vehicle outer side than the vehicle side E4. The forward light distribution SP1 has a rear edge E6 located forward of the front edge of the vehicle. Therefore, it is possible to irradiate the forward light distribution SP1 to a position away from the vehicle forwardly.
Further, the side light distribution SP2 is irradiated, for example, from the front side to the side side of the front end of the vehicle. The lateral light distribution SP2 has a vehicle front side edge E5 overlapping the vehicle rear side edge E6 of the forward light distribution SP1. Therefore, the front light distribution SP1 and the side light distribution SP2 are integrally irradiated. The positional relationship between the edge E5 and the edge E6 can be adjusted by adjusting the distance between the edge E1 and the edge E2 shown in FIG. For example, the side E1 and the side E2 are arranged so that the side E5 and the side E6 are arranged in each other's area (the side E5 is in the front light distribution SP1 and the side E6 is in the side light distribution SP2). By adjusting the positional relationship of , a part of the lateral light distribution SP2 is irradiated with being superimposed on the forward light distribution SP1. Further, by adjusting the positional relationship between the side E1 and the side E2 so that the edge E5 and the edge E6 are separated from each other, the lateral light distribution SP2 is emitted in a state separated from the forward light distribution SP1.
The side E7 of the lateral light distribution SP2 is arranged on the vehicle outer side than the vehicle inner side E3 of the forward light distribution SP1. The side E8 of the lateral light distribution SP2 is arranged on the vehicle inner side than the vehicle outer side E9 of the forward light distribution SP1. Therefore, the irradiation area in the horizontal direction of the lateral light distribution SP2 is within the range of the irradiation area irradiated with the forward light distribution SP1.
6 and 7 are diagrams showing configuration examples of the sub light
In addition to the configuration of the sub light
The operation of the
The main light
When the direction indicator or the hazard switch is operated, the sub light
As described above, the
In this configuration, the main light

In the
In the
In the
In the
In the
