Description
The present invention relates to a flame-retardant sheet and a flame-retardant film material.
Conventionally, there is a flame-retardant sheet in which a substrate made of sheet-like fibers is coated with a flame-retardant resin. For such a flame-retardant sheet, soft polyvinyl chloride-based resin, polytetrafluoroethylene-based resin, or the like has been used as a coating resin. However, when a soft polyvinyl chloride resin is used as the coating resin, the plasticizer, flame retardant, etc. contained in the soft polyvinyl chloride resin ooze out to the surface over time, resulting in a decrease in surface adhesiveness. As a result, there are problems such as adhesion of dirt in the atmosphere, deterioration of flexibility, weather resistance, flame retardancy, and the like.
On the other hand, in recent years, polymer materials for industrial use have been desired to be converted to environmentally friendly materials that do not burden the environment due to the problems of waste plastic disposal and endocrine disrupters. Specifically, due to problems such as the generation of dioxins during combustion and the toxicity of plasticizers, conversion from polyvinyl chloride resins to polyolefin resins, for example, has been investigated. However, since polyolefin resins are highly combustible resins, it is a difficult task to develop flame retardancy.
In order to solve the above problems, at present, flame retardants are often kneaded into polyolefin resins. Among flame retardants, halogen-containing flame retardants are frequently used because they have a high flame-retardant effect and relatively little decrease in moldability and mechanical properties of molded products. However, when halogen-containing flame retardants are used, halogen-containing gases are generated during molding and combustion, and there is a risk of equipment corrosion. A flame-retardant treatment method is strongly desired (see, for example, Patent Document 1).
Such flame-retardant sheets are required to further improve their flame retardancy and abrasion resistance.

Another aspect of the present invention is a flame-retardant film material in which a sheet-like fiber, a base layer and a topcoat layer are laminated in this order, wherein the base layer comprises a thermoplastic resin and an inorganic material. The content of the inorganic material is in the range of 17.6 parts by mass or more and less than 900 parts by mass with respect to 100 parts by mass of the thermoplastic resin, and the topcoat layer is made of fluororesin, acrylic resin and ethylene-vinyl The gist of the invention is a flame-retardant film material comprising at least one selected from the group consisting of alcohol-vinyl acetate copolymers.
According to one aspect of the present invention, the ratio of the thermoplastic resin and the inorganic material used in the base material layer and the type of resin used in the topcoat layer are appropriate, so flame retardancy and wear resistance are improved. It is possible to provide a flame-retardant sheet and a flame-retardant film material excellent in

1. Total calorific value is 8 MJ/m 2 or less 2 . 2. The maximum heat release rate does not exceed 200 kW/m 2 continuously for 10 seconds or longer. No cracks or holes penetrating to the rear surface, which are harmful for fire prevention. The nonflammable base material can be selected from gypsum board, fiber-containing calcium silicate board, and galvanized steel sheet.

The
As the thermoplastic resin, it is possible to use, for example, a polyolefin resin, a polyester resin, or the like. Polyolefin resins include, for example, ethylene homopolymers, propylene homopolymers, copolymers of ethylene and/or propylene with other α-olefins copolymerizable therewith, ethylene-ethyl acrylate copolymers, and It is preferably at least one selected from the group consisting of ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymers. At least one selected is preferably, for example, polyethylene, polypropylene, polybutene, polymethylpentene, etc., and more preferably polypropylene. As the polyester-based resin, for example, polyethylene terephthalate is preferable. By using at least one of polyethylene, polypropylene, polybutene, polymethylpentene, polyester, etc. as the thermoplastic resin, the dispersibility of the inorganic material can be improved. In particular, the use of polypropylene can further improve the dispersibility of the inorganic material.
The inorganic material is preferably in powder form (powder form). The average particle size (mode size) of the inorganic material is preferably in the range of 1 µm or more and 3 µm or less, and the maximum particle size is preferably 50 µm or less. If the average particle size is less than 1 μm, the cohesive force between the inorganic materials increases, and the dispersibility in the thermoplastic resin may decrease. On the other hand, if the average particle size exceeds 3 μm, the flatness of the surface of the
As described above, by setting the average particle size and the maximum particle size of the inorganic material within the ranges described above, the dispersibility of the inorganic material in the thermoplastic resin is improved, and the surface of the
The content of the inorganic material may be in the range of 17.6 parts by mass or more and less than 900 parts by mass, and more preferably in the range of 30 parts by mass or more and 750 parts by mass or less with respect to 100 parts by mass of the thermoplastic resin. Preferably, it is more preferably in the range of 45 parts by mass or more and 600 parts by mass or less.
If the content of the inorganic material is less than 17.6 parts by mass, the proportion of the thermoplastic resin will be relatively high, which tends to make it difficult to obtain noncombustibility, flame retardancy, weather resistance, and abrasion resistance. Furthermore, when the surface of the
On the other hand, when the content of the inorganic material exceeds 900 parts by mass with respect to 100 parts by mass of the thermoplastic resin, the ratio of the thermoplastic resin is relatively decreased. Therefore, so-called "powder blowing" may occur on the surface of the
As described above, by setting the content of the inorganic material within the above-described range with respect to 100 parts by mass of the thermoplastic resin, the ratio of the thermoplastic resin and the specific amount of the inorganic material becomes appropriate. It is possible to reduce the occurrence of powder blowing while obtaining noncombustibility or flame retardancy. In addition to this, it is possible to improve printability and lamination suitability, and it is possible to reduce cracks that occur at the folded portion of the sheet and fall of inorganic materials, and furthermore, to obtain sufficient surface hardness; It becomes possible to improve ink adhesion. In addition, it is possible to improve mechanical properties such as flame retardancy, weather resistance, wear resistance and flexibility.
Examples of inorganic materials that can be used include calcium carbonate, magnesium carbonate, aluminum hydroxide, magnesium hydroxide, kaolin, silica, perlite, calcium sulfate, barium sulfate, calcined alumina, calcium silicate, talc, and mica. be. Furthermore, for example, silica (especially hollow silica), alumina, antimony trioxide, antimony soda, zirconium silicate, zirconium compounds such as zirconium oxide, magnesium hydroxide, aluminum hydroxide, basic magnesium carbonate, borax, zinc borate, complexes of molybdenum trioxide or antimony dimolybdate and aluminum hydroxide; At least one salt or the like can be used. In particular, calcium carbonate and calcium carbonate salts are easy to control the particle size and the compatibility with the thermoplastic resin by the manufacturing method, and the material cost is low, so it is possible to reduce the cost of the resin sheet 10. It is also suitable from the point of view. In addition, the inorganic materials described above may be used alone, or two or more of them may be used in combination.
In this embodiment, as an example, a case where the inorganic material is calcium carbonate will be described. This is because calcium carbonate, talc, aluminum hydroxide and magnesium hydroxide are preferable as the inorganic material from the viewpoints of machinability and economy, and calcium carbonate is particularly preferable. Calcium carbonate is not particularly limited, and precipitated calcium carbonate, heavy calcium carbonate, light calcium carbonate, and the like can be used.
The average particle diameter of calcium carbonate is preferably in the range of 1 [μm] or more and 3 [μm] or less.
Moreover, the total content of the thermoplastic resin and the inorganic material is preferably in the range of 90% by mass or more and 100% by mass or less with respect to the mass of the flame-
As described above, by setting the total content of the thermoplastic resin and the inorganic material within the numerical range described above, it is possible to obtain sufficient incombustibility or flame retardancy while improving printability and lamination suitability. Moreover, it is possible to reduce cracks that occur at the bent portion of the sheet.
In addition, when the total content of the thermoplastic resin and the inorganic material is 100% by mass with respect to the mass of the flame-
Moreover, the thickness of the
Further, the

Moreover, it is preferable to contain titanium oxide as a white pigment. By containing titanium oxide, whiteness and hiding power are improved, and flame retardancy is also improved. Titanium oxide is not particularly limited, and examples thereof include anatase-type titanium oxide and rutile-type titanium oxide. From this point of view, it is preferable to use rutile-type titanium oxide. Moreover, when the flame-
The content of titanium oxide is preferably 1 part by mass or more and 20 parts by mass or less, more preferably 2 parts by mass or more and 7 parts by mass or less with respect to 100 parts by mass of the vehicle. If the amount of titanium oxide to be blended is less than 1 part by mass, there is a possibility that sufficient whiteness, hiding power and flame-retardant effect cannot be obtained. On the other hand, if the amount of titanium oxide is more than 20 parts by mass, sufficient whiteness, hiding power and flame retardant effect can be obtained, but there is a possibility of deterioration in moldability and flexibility.

In order to improve the weather resistance of the flame-
Furthermore, an inorganic antiwear agent may be added to impart wear resistance. The inorganic anti-friction agent is, for example, powdery particles of a hard inorganic compound such as alumina or silicon carbide, and preferably has an average particle size of 5 μm or more and 50 μm or less. The amount to be added is preferably 2 parts by mass or more and 30 parts by mass or less with respect to 100 parts by mass of the resin. The shape of the inorganic anti-wear agent may be amorphous, scaly, spherical, polyhedral, etc., but scaly, spherical, polyhedral, etc. are desirable because of their high anti-wear effect.
It is also recommended to add a silane coupling agent to improve retention of the inorganic anti-wear agent so that the inorganic anti-wear agent protruding from the surface of the
