Claims (7)
- 内燃機関のピストン用のピストンクラウンであって、前記ピストンクラウンの直径が98mmよりも小さく、中心軸に沿って軸方向にかつ前記中心軸から半径方向外向きに延在し、前記軸方向に前記ピストンクラウンの第一の端部の環状面と、前記環状面内で半径方向に配置され、前記ピストンクラウンの前記第一の端部に対して窪んでいるピストンボウルであって、
前記ピストンクラウンの中心軸と一致する回転軸を有する上げ床部であって、前記ピストンクラウンの前記第一の端部の方向に円錐台形部分を覆う球状キャップ部分に向かって先細りする前記円錐台形部分を含む、上げ床部と、
前記上げ床部に対して半径方向外向きに配置される弧状面と、
前記弧状面の半径方向外側端で前記ピストンボウルの前記中心軸に平行な円周面と、
前記弧状面の前記円周面から半径方向外側にかつ前記環状面から半径方向内側に延在し、前記ピストンクラウンの前記第一の端部から離れて先細りするリップ面取り面と、を含み、
前記リップ面取り面の直線は、前記環状面に向かって延在し、曲率半径R1を有する外側端と、前記円周面に向かって延在し、曲率半径R2を有する内側端とを備え、前記リップ面取り面の前記直線と前記環状面との間の角度が20°である、ピストンボウルと、を含む、ピストンクラウン。 - 前記円周面の直径が69.7mm~70.1mmの間であり、好ましくは69.9mmである、請求項1に記載のピストンクラウン。
- 直径の断面で、前記円錐台形部分の対向する側面間に含まれる角度が125.2°~126.2°の間であり、好ましくは125.7°である、請求項1~2のいずれかに記載のピストンクラウン。
- 直径の断面で、前記弧状面が10.5mmの半径を有する円弧を含む、請求項1~3のいずれかに記載のピストンクラウン。
- 97.9mm~98.1mmの間の、好ましくは98mmの、前記ピストンクラウンの直径より大きい内径を有する燃焼シリンダ内に収容されるように構成される、請求項1~4のいずれかに記載のピストンクラウン。
- 前記球状キャップ部分が9.9mm~10.1mmの間であり、好ましくは10mmの曲率半径を有する、請求項1~5のいずれかに記載のピストンクラウン。
- 円筒形の燃焼チャンバ内で往復運動するピストンを提供するステップを含む内燃機関の効率を上げる方法であって、前記ピストンが、中心軸に沿って軸方向にかつ前記中心軸から半径方向外向きに延在するピストンクラウンを備え、前記ピストンクラウンの直径が98mmよりも小さく、前記ピストンクラウンが、前記軸方向に前記ピストンクラウンの第一の端部の環状面と、前記環状面内で半径方向に配置され、前記ピストンクラウンの前記第一の端部に対して窪んでいるピストンボウルであって、
前記ピストンクラウンの中心軸と一致する回転軸を有する上げ床部であって、前記ピストンクラウンの前記第一の端部の方向に円錐台形部分を覆う球状キャップ部分に向かって先細りする前記円錐台形部分を含む、上げ床部と、
前記上げ床部に対して半径方向外向きに配置される弧状面と、
前記弧状面の半径方向外側端で前記ピストンボウルの前記中心軸に平行な円周面と、
前記弧状面の前記円周面から半径方向外側にかつ前記環状面から半径方向内側に延在し、前記ピストンクラウンの前記第一の端部から離れて先細りするリップ面取り面と、を含み、
前記リップ面取り面の直線は、前記環状面に向かって延在し、曲率半径R1を有する外側端と、前記円周面に向かって延在し、曲率半径R2を有する内側端とを備え、前記リップ面取り面の前記直線と前記環状面との間の角度が20°である、ピストンボウルと、を含む、方法。
