Description
The present invention relates to a resin product provided with an in-mold coat, a method for manufacturing this resin product, and a mold for molding the in-mold coat.
For example, as disclosed in Patent Document 1, there is a coating film forming method called in-mold coating in which a coating is injected into a mold in which a substrate is set to form a coating film on the outer surface of the substrate. To explain an example of in-mold coating, after forming a base material by injection molding a thermoplastic resin in a mold, a gap is formed between the mold surface of the mold and the base material, and paint is applied to this gap. A coating film is formed by injection.
When the paint is injected into the cavity formed between the mold surface and the base material, the air in the cavity is entrained to form air bubbles. Such air bubbles are entrained in the paint and collect at the end of the paint flow in the cavity. As a countermeasure, for example, in addition to the original shape of the resin product, a surplus shape is formed in the base material, and the end point of the paint flow in the cavity is set to the surplus shape. After the coating film is formed, the surplus shape on which the coating film containing air bubbles is formed is cut so that no air bubbles remain in the coating film of the resin product. In addition, since an injection trace remains at the paint injection position, a surplus shape is formed for the paint injection position separately from the surplus shape for the air bubbles. After the coating film is formed, the surplus shape on which the injection marks are formed is cut so that the injection marks are not left on the coating film of the resin product.
As described above, if post-processing such as cutting the excess shape is performed after the coating film is formed, it is time-consuming and costly. Moreover, in resin products, there is a concern that the quality of the cut surface from which the surplus shape is cut off may be degraded.

(First embodiment)
As shown in FIG. 1, the
As shown in FIG. 2, the
Examples of the
As shown in FIG. 2, the
As shown in FIG. 2, the
Next, a molding apparatus used for manufacturing the
As shown in FIG. 4, a coat molding die (molding die) 22 molds a
The
Next, the manufacturing method of the
The obtained
The
In the
In the
The
The
When molding the
Since the

(Second embodiment)
Next, the
As shown in FIG. 5, in the
The
Even in the second embodiment, the same effect as the first embodiment described above is achieved. In particular, according to the second embodiment, the coating material can be caused to flow from the central portion of the surface of the

As shown in FIG. 8, the
The
Even in the third embodiment, the same effect as the first embodiment described above is achieved. In particular, according to the third embodiment, the first base
(Change example)

(1) The second embodiment can be modified as follows. When forming the base material, the through holes are formed so as to obliquely penetrate the base material from the back surface to the front surface. Then, the in-mold coat material injected from the gate arranged on the back side of the base material is flowed to the front side of the base material through the through-holes penetrating obliquely from the back side to the front side of the base material to form the in-mold coat. do. As a result, as shown in FIG. 11, in the obtained
(2) The injection position of the in-mold coat material is not limited to one position, and may be set at a plurality of positions.
(3) The air reservoir is not limited to being formed on one edge of the resin product, and may be provided on a plurality of edges of the resin product.
