Description
TECHNICAL FIELD The present invention relates to an absorbent body that does not contain fluff pulp and has good absorbency and wearability, and an absorbent article comprising the absorbent body.
In general, an absorbent article is composed of a liquid-permeable top sheet, a liquid-impermeable back sheet, and an absorbent body disposed between the top sheet and the back sheet. body fluids are absorbed into the absorbent body through the topsheet. Regardless of whether they are for adults or infants, these absorbent articles come in various types depending on their uses, such as tape-type disposable diapers, pants-type disposable diapers, incontinence pads, and light incontinence pads. .
Fluff pulp and super absorbent polymer (also referred to as SAP) are generally used in combination for absorbent bodies constituting these absorbent articles. etc., and for the purpose of reducing urine regurgitation, a so-called superabsorbent sheet (also referred to as a SAP sheet) consisting of a nonwoven fabric as a base and a superabsorbent polymer may be used as an absorber. Various studies have been conducted on
As superabsorbent sheets that have been studied so far, for example,
Moreover, Patent Document 2 discloses an absorbent body in which two superabsorbent sheets are folded along the longitudinal direction, and the two superabsorbent sheets are arranged such that the respective folds are opposed to each other.
However, in
Furthermore, in the superabsorbent sheet described in Patent Document 2, although the fit to the crotch area is improved by having the structure described above, the point that the superabsorbent sheet has a hard touch is not improved. However, the feeling of wearing was not sufficiently satisfactory. Moreover, as with the superabsorbent sheet described in
As described above, the absorbent bodies and absorbent articles using the absorbent bodies described in
The inventors of the present invention conducted extensive research in view of the above problems. As a result, the inventors have found that the above problems can be solved by devising the form of the nonwoven fabric that serves as the substrate and the method of supporting the superabsorbent polymer, and have completed the present invention. Specifically, the present invention provides the following.

It will be clear to those skilled in the art that improvements are possible. In addition, it is clear from the description of the scope of the claims that forms with such modifications or improvements can also be included in the technical scope of the present invention.
Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in detail with reference to examples. It should be noted that the present invention is by no means limited to the examples shown below.
<Preparation of absorber>
First, an air-through nonwoven fabric having a base nonwoven fabric (basis weight of 150 g/m 2 ) was prepared, and the body-side surface of the base nonwoven fabric was physically raised with a saw blade to disperse the superabsorbent polymer (basis weight of 380 g/m 2 ). Then, the superabsorbent polymer is fixedly supported between the fibers of the raised portion of the base nonwoven fabric by a hot-melt adhesive to obtain a superabsorbent sheet. Next, a spunbond nonwoven fabric (basis weight: 10 g/m 2 ) is prepared as a hydrophilic sheet, and the entire superabsorbent sheet is wrapped and fixed with a hydrophilic sheet coated with a hot-melt adhesive. Thus, an absorbent body as described in Example 1 was obtained.
In Comparative Example 1, air through nonwoven fabric (basis weight 20 g/m 2 )/superabsorbent polymer (basis weight 280 g/m 2 )/air through nonwoven fabric (basis weight 20 g/m 2 )/superabsorbent polymer (basis weight 100 g /m 2 )/spunlaced nonwoven fabric (basis weight: 20 g/m 2 ) was used as an absorber. Unlike the base nonwoven fabric used in Example 1, the nonwoven fabric used in Comparative Example 1 was not raised. In Comparative Example 2, a mixture of superabsorbent polymer (basis weight: 380 g/m 2 ) and fluff pulp (basis weight: 400 g/m 2 ) was covered with tissue (16 g/m 2 ) as an absorber. Using. In Comparative Example 3, only the base nonwoven fabric (basis weight: 150 g/m 2 ) used in Example 1 was used as the absorber. Table 1 shows the sizes and configurations of the absorbent bodies of Example 1 and Comparative Examples 1 to 3.

(Absorption rate)
40 ml of 0.9% by mass physiological saline (37° C.) was poured into the absorbers of Example 1 and each comparative example from a cylinder with an inner diameter of 30 mm under a pressure of 46 g/cm 2 , and physiological The time (seconds) until the saline solution is absorbed by the absorbent surface is measured. A smaller value means better absorbency.
(Reverse amount)
200 ml of physiological saline was poured into the absorbers of Example 1 and each comparative example, and 10 minutes after the water was poured, the filter paper was pressed against the absorber surface with a load of 35 gf/cm 2 and returned to the filter paper in 1 minute. Measure moisture content. The smaller the backflow amount, the drier the absorbent body.
(sensory evaluation)
With the cooperation of each panelist of 8 disposable diaper wearers who use wheelchairs on a daily basis, wearing of the tape-fastened type disposable diaper using each absorbent of Example 1 and Comparative Examples 1 and 2 Feeling (softness, fitting feeling) and absorbency (presence or absence of leakage to the outside of the paper diaper, dry feeling) were sensory evaluated by choosing "good" or "bad". The wearer used the device for 8 hours and evaluated it in daily activities. The results are shown in Table 1.
〇: When the number of wearers who chose “good” is 6 or more and 8 or less △: When the number of wearers who chose “good” is 3 or more and 5 or less ×: When the number of wearers who chose “good” is 1 1 or 2 people, or when none of the wearers chose "Good"
