Description
Claims (7)
- 電池によって給電される加熱素子を制御するように適合された制御回路であって、
第1のプロファイル及び第2のプロファイルを含む既知の電池データを記憶するように構成されたメモリと、
前記メモリ及び前記電池と通信する燃料ゲージ回路であって、前記第1及び第2のプロファイルに従って前記電池の抵抗を判定するように構成されている、燃料ゲージ回路と、
前記燃料ゲージ回路に接続された論理回路であって、前記判定された抵抗と、前記電池の電圧及び前記加熱素子の抵抗値とに基づいて前記電池の最大電力を示す第1の電力値を計算するように構成されている、論理回路と、
前記論理回路に応答する信号発生器回路であって、前記計算された第1の電力値に基づいてPWM信号を生成するように構成されている、信号発生器回路と、を含むことを特徴とし、
前記制御回路が、前記PWM信号のデューティサイクルに従って前記電池を前記加熱素子に選択的に接続する、
制御回路。 - 前記電池の前記抵抗を判定することが、
前記電池の実際の電圧を測定することと、
前記第1のプロファイルを利用して、前記測定された実際の電圧に従って前記電池の容量を判定することと、
前記第2のプロファイルを利用して、前記判定された容量に従って前記電池の前記抵抗を判定することと、を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の制御回路。 - 前記論理回路が、前記加熱素子の抵抗値として、開始時間における前記加熱素子の第1の抵抗値に更に基づいて、前記第1の電力値を計算することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の制御回路。
- 前記メモリが、前記加熱素子の抵抗値と前記開始時間からの経過時間との関係を含む第3のプロファイルを更に含むことを特徴とする、請求項3に記載の制御回路。
- 前記開始時間からの経過時間を測定するためのタイマーを含むことを更に特徴とし、
前記タイマーが所定の経過した動作時間に達すると、前記論理回路は、
前記第3のプロファイルに基づき特定した前記加熱素子の第2の抵抗値と、
前記判定された抵抗及び前記電池の電圧とに基づいて、新しい前記第1の電力値を計算する、請求項4に記載の制御回路。 - 前記第1のプロファイルが、電池電圧値と電池容量値との関係を含むことと、
前記第2のプロファイルが、電池抵抗値と前記電池容量値との関係を含むことと、を特徴とする、請求項1に記載の制御回路。 - 前記PWM信号が、前記計算された第1の電力値に対する所定の目標電力の比に基づくことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の制御回路。
