複数の外壁面材が上下に並べられて下地材で連結され、開口設備は未装着とされる外壁パネルを、当該外壁パネルが取り付けられる建物の躯体の取付箇所とは異なる場所に配置した地組架台上で組み立てるとともに、上記外壁パネルの上記開口設備用の開口が形成される箇所に開口枠部を当該地組架台上で形成する工程と、上記開口設備が未装着の外壁パネルを屋外側から建物の躯体に取り付ける工程と、上記建物の躯体に取り付けられた上記外壁パネルの上記開口枠部を形成した箇所に、屋内側から下地枠付きの開口設備を取り付ける工程と、を含むとともに、
上記外壁パネルの上記下地材として縦胴縁を配置する工程と、上記外壁パネルの上記開口枠部として横胴縁を配置する工程と、を含むことを特徴とする外壁の施工方法。
