Description
The present invention relates to a system for managing the operation of processing equipment for heat treatment or surface modification of metal materials.
Metal materials are subjected to heat treatments such as quenching, tempering, annealing, and normalizing. Surface treatments such as nitriding and film formation are also applied. These processes are performed using a furnace apparatus, a CVD apparatus, and the like, and the processing profiles such as temperature and pressure are different in each process, and the required time is also different. In addition, it is necessary to cool the furnace apparatus and the CVD apparatus before removing the workpiece after processing. As described above, the operation status of each device differs depending on the processing content, and therefore it is required to efficiently manage the operation status.
As a technique for improving the operating efficiency of furnace equipment,
However, since heat treatment and surface treatment of metals involve a wide variety of processes, it is not easy to monitor whether each processing equipment is processing according to the planned processing profile. It is also difficult to predict how much quality will be affected if the processing profile realized by the processing equipment deviates from what was planned. Furthermore, there are various quality requirements for machining results, and it has not been easy to set a machining profile that satisfies these requirements.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION It is an object of the present invention to provide a management system for managing the operation status of a processing apparatus for heat-treating or surface-treating metals.
The present invention, as a first aspect,
An operation management system that manages the operation of a processing device that performs heat treatment or surface modification of metal materials,
a transmitting device installed in the processing device, acquiring a predetermined state quantity representing the operation status of the processing device, and continuously transmitting it as sensor information at a predetermined timing;
a sensor information database that sequentially stores the sensor information transmitted from the transmission device;
a machining database that stores in advance a machining profile that expresses the operating status to be realized by the processing device by the state quantity;
By referring to the processing database based on the sensor information, it is possible to configure an operation management system including an operation status management unit that manages the operation status of the processing device.
Examples of heat treatment include quenching, tempering, annealing, and normalizing, and examples of surface treatment include nitriding treatment and film forming treatment.
Processing equipment to be monitored includes furnace equipment for heat treatment, CVD equipment for surface treatment, and the like. One processing device may be used, or a plurality of processing devices may be used.
The transmitting device also constitutes a part of the operation management system. The sensor information acquired by the transmission device may use information already detected by the processing device itself, or may be provided with a new sensor in the processing device.
The sensor information database, processing database, and operation status management unit, which are components other than the transmitting device, can be configured as hardware separate from the transmitting device, such as one or more servers or dedicated devices. It does not exclude a configuration integrated with the device.
State quantities include the temperature, pressure, and oscillation of the processing equipment. More state quantities may be targeted.
According to the present invention, it is possible to acquire the operational status of the processing device as objective data, ie, sensor information, which is a state quantity, via the transmission device. Further, in the present invention, since the processing profile of the processing device is stored in advance, by comparing the obtained sensor information with this processing profile, it is possible to more accurately and appropriately determine the operating status of the processing device. It becomes possible. As explained above, the temperature and pressure of the processing equipment change in various ways during the processing process. It is not easy to judge whether there is an abnormal temperature rise in other phases. However, if a machining profile is stored in advance as in the present invention, such determination can be easily made by comparison with this. What is shown here is only an example, and the comparison of the machining profile and the sensor information can be performed in various other ways, thereby making it possible to more accurately and appropriately determine the operating status of the processing equipment. It becomes.
In the first aspect, the sensor information may be constantly transmitted,
The transmission device may perform the transmission when it is determined that the operation status of the processing device is abnormal based on the sensor information.
By doing so, it is possible to thin out the transmission timing of the sensor information. Since the sensor information is constantly acquired during the operation of the processing device, in a mode in which the sensor information is constantly transmitted, the transmission traffic may become enormous. It is possible to reduce the Such an aspect is highly useful especially when a plurality of processing apparatuses are to be managed.
Abnormality can be determined by various methods. For example, a processing profile may be stored in the transmitting device in advance, and an abnormality may be determined when the deviation of the sensor information from the processing profile exceeds a predetermined value. Also, it may be determined that there is an abnormality when the rate of change from past sensor information exceeds a predetermined value.
Even when the transmission timing is thinned out as in the above aspect, it is preferable to transmit the entire sensor information previously obtained. By doing so, it is possible to manage the operation status of the processing apparatus by utilizing the past sensor information. However, in order to reduce traffic, it is also possible to adopt a mode in which past sensor information is thinned out to the extent that changes can be determined and then transmitted.
In the above aspect, an example of transmitting when it is determined to be abnormal has been shown, but the sensor information may be transmitted at other timings. For example, it can be configured to transmit at regular intervals. Alternatively, it may be the timing at which the phase in the machining profile is switched. For example, it can be the timing of switching from the preheating phase to the heating phase.
In a first aspect,
There are a plurality of the processing devices to be managed,
The processing device and the sensor information are stored in the mobility management system in association with a specific user;
The operating status management unit provides information representing the operating status only to the specific user associated with the processing device,
Furthermore, a learning data generation unit may be provided that generates learning data for artificial intelligence using the sensor information regardless of the correspondence relationship with the specific user.
The operation management system of the present invention is not necessarily intended only for processing apparatuses owned or managed by a single user. A processing device owned or managed by a plurality of users may be targeted. For example, it is conceivable that processing apparatuses of different companies are managed, or processing apparatuses managed by different departments within the same company are managed.
When processing devices owned and managed by a plurality of users are targeted, according to the above aspect, sensor information can be managed in association with each user. Since the information about the operating status can be provided only to the associated user, it is possible to maintain the confidentiality of the operating status of the processing device with other users. In addition, when generating learning data for artificial intelligence, sensor information can be used regardless of the user, so more learning data can be obtained, and the accuracy of learning by artificial intelligence can be improved. be able to.
In the above aspect, when sensor information is stored in association with a specific user, it may be encrypted using a unique key or the like for each user. By doing so, it becomes possible to further improve the security of the operation status.
In a first aspect,
The machining profile divides the operation status into predetermined phases and stores the state quantity in each phase,
The operating status management unit may identify the phase in which the processing device is operating by referring to the processing database based on the sensor information.
The processing profile of the processing equipment is divided into phases such as preheating, heating, heat treatment such as quenching, and cooling. In the above aspect, the machining profile is stored separately for each phase in this way.
By doing so, it becomes possible to grasp what phase the processing device is in. Therefore, there is an advantage that the administrator who manages the processing apparatuses can more easily understand the operation status of each processing apparatus.
As mentioned above, to identify the phase in which the processor is running,
The operation status management unit may display a different display mode for each phase, thereby visually recognizing which phase each processing device is in.
This has the advantage of making it easier for the administrator to understand the operational status.
As a display mode for each phase, for example, there is a method of changing the pattern, color, etc. when displaying the operating status.
Furthermore, if different display modes are used for each phase,
The operating status management section may indicate the current and past phases of the processing device in each time period, and may display future scheduled phases based on the machining profile.
For example, there is a method in which time is plotted on the horizontal axis and the operation status at each time is displayed in a different display mode for each phase. The present, past phases, and future phases may be displayed in different forms. By doing so, it becomes possible to grasp the operating status more visually.
Moreover, in such a display mode, the operation statuses of a plurality of processing devices may be displayed in parallel.

As a second aspect of the present invention,

There are multiple processing devices to be managed,
a work database that associates and stores the metal material and sensor information regarding the processing performed on the metal material in each processing apparatus;
It is possible to configure an operation management system including a processing history management section that outputs a processing history for a specified metal material by referring to the work database.
Processing such as heat treatment or surface modification of a single metal material is normally performed sequentially by a plurality of apparatuses. In the event that a quality defect is found after processing, we trace back the metal material that was processed, that is, each workpiece, in order, by which device and what processing was performed, and determine which process caused the defect. It may be necessary to explore whether
According to the second aspect, each time a workpiece is processed by the processing device, the sensor information is stored in association with the workpiece. Therefore, it is possible to easily check the history of processing for the work. By doing so, according to the second aspect, it is possible to improve the quality of processing of the workpiece.
As a third aspect of the present invention,
An operation management system that manages the operation of a processing device that performs heat treatment or surface modification of metal materials,
a transmitting device installed in the processing device, acquiring a predetermined state quantity representing the operation status of the processing device, and continuously transmitting it as sensor information at a predetermined timing;
a sensor information database that sequentially stores the sensor information transmitted from the transmission device;
Regarding the heat treatment or surface modification in the past, machine learning is performed based on the sensor information and the quality information representing the quality of the metal material that has been subjected to the heat treatment or surface modification. a learning model generation unit that generates a learning model whose objective variable is quality;
The operation management system may include a quality prediction unit that predicts the quality of the newly heat-treated or surface-modified metal material using the learning model based on the sensor information.
The quality of heat treatment or surface modification is affected by the processing profile, but the relationship between processing profile and quality is generally not easily understood.
According to the third aspect, since a learning model can be generated by machine learning regression based on sensor information and quality information in past machining, it is possible to predict quality based on this. Become. Therefore, it is possible to contribute to quality improvement.
In the third aspect, sensor information and quality information may be processed so as to facilitate generation of a learning model. For example, sensor information may be represented by representative values such as hardening temperature and hardening time based on a preset machining profile. The quality information can be the hardness of the workpiece after processing, the thickness of the film on the surface, etc. as parameters, and these parameters may be quantized and represented by indicators such as levels.
In a third aspect, the results of making quality predictions can be used in a variety of ways. for example,
The quality prediction unit may issue a predetermined alert when an abnormality in quality is predicted.
By doing so, it is possible to suppress the possibility of overlooking quality abnormalities in quality inspection after processing, and to improve quality.
As another aspect, quality prediction is performed during processing, and whether or not the predicted quality is within the allowable range is determined to determine whether to continue processing, change the processing profile, or interrupt processing. You may make it support judgments, such as. By doing so, it is possible to suppress wasteful processing that causes quality abnormality.

The present invention, as a fourth aspect,
An operation management system that manages the operation of a processing device that performs heat treatment or surface modification of metal materials,
a transmitting device installed in the processing device, acquiring a predetermined state quantity representing the operation status of the processing device, and continuously transmitting it as sensor information at a predetermined timing;
a sensor information database that sequentially stores the sensor information transmitted from the transmission device;
Regarding the heat treatment or surface modification in the past, machine learning is performed based on the sensor information and the quality information representing the quality of the metal material that has been subjected to the heat treatment or surface modification. A learning model generation unit that generates a learning model whose objective variable is sensor information that realizes
Processing profile setting for setting, as a processing profile, sensor information when performing the heat treatment or surface modification using the learning model, based on a request for the quality of the heat treatment or surface modification to be newly applied to the metal material. It can be configured as an operation management system comprising a part.
As explained above, the quality of heat treatment or surface modification is affected by the processing profile, but the relationship between processing profile and quality is generally not easily understood. Therefore, in general, when quality is required in the form of post-processing surface hardness, film thickness, etc., the processing profile to achieve it is set empirically based on past processing examples. I had no choice. Such a setting method depends on the experience of a so-called skilled worker, and could be a factor of instability in quality.
According to the fourth aspect, it is possible to generate a learning model by machine learning regression based on the past machining results, so based on this, it is possible to set the machining profile from the requested quality. Become. Therefore, it is possible to contribute to the stabilization and improvement of quality.
In the fourth aspect, similarly to the third aspect, sensor information and quality information may be processed so as to facilitate generation of a learning model. Also, the machining profile to be set may be represented by representative values such as the hardening temperature and the hardening time.

As a fifth aspect of the present invention,
An operation management system that manages the operation of a processing device that performs heat treatment or surface modification of metal materials,

A learning model generation unit that generates a learning model whose objective variable is the degree of anomaly;
Based on the processing profile instructed to be newly applied to the metal material and the sensor information when the heat treatment or surface modification is performed, the learning model is used to obtain the degree of abnormality of the deviation between the two, It is possible to configure an operation management system including a failure predicting unit that estimates future changes in the degree of abnormality of the processing apparatus based on the history of the degree of abnormality from the past to the present.
As long as the processing device is also a machine, failures may occur during use. Normally, when a failure occurs, the processing equipment is repaired or maintained, but depending on the timing of the failure, the work may be significantly hindered.
According to the fifth aspect, based on the instructed machining profile and the sensor information, the degree of abnormality of deviation between the two can be obtained by machine learning. That is, it is almost impossible for the processing equipment to operate in a state where there is no error with the machining profile during operation, and it is normal for some error to occur. It is possible to judge how abnormal the deviation, that is, the error is. Here, if the machining profile and sensor information can be represented by, for example, one representative value, it is possible to evaluate the degree of abnormality based on the error of the representative value without using machine learning. . However, since the temperature and the like of the machining profile change in time series, it is difficult to evaluate the degree of abnormality of the deviation between the machining profile and the sensor information using a simple index.
Therefore, in the fifth aspect, the degree of abnormality can be evaluated by using machine learning. In other words, if there are many past records, it is possible to evaluate whether the difference between the machining profile and the sensor information is relatively frequent or rare, so the degree of abnormality can be evaluated. It becomes possible to calculate.
In the fifth aspect, since the degree of abnormality can be evaluated in this way and the future degree of abnormality can be transitioned based on the history from the past to the present, the time when the processing device breaks down or requires maintenance can be estimated.
In the fifth aspect, sensor information and the like of a plurality of devices may be collectively treated as learning data, or past sensor information for each device may be used as learning data. According to the latter, it is possible to obtain the degree of anomaly by reflecting the so-called peculiarities of each device.

Here, an example in which processing is performed in the order of CVD coating and heat treatment is shown, but other processing may intervene, and the processing order may be changed, etc., depending on the processing content required for the workpiece. processing can be adjusted accordingly.
When the machining is completed, quality inspection of the workpiece is performed (step S15). Quality inspection results are stored in the
When the quality inspection is completed, the work is shipped (step S16), and a series of machining sequences are completed. Prior to quality inspection, quality prediction processing using machine learning may be performed. In this way, when a quality abnormality is predicted, it is possible to take measures such as conducting quality inspections particularly carefully, and it is possible to suppress the possibility that the quality abnormality will be overlooked.
C. Information transmission process:

The
Then, the transmission timing for transmitting the sensor information is determined (step S22). In this embodiment, two types of modes are prepared: (1) constant upload and (2) intermittent upload. Which mode to use can be set in advance.
In the case of constant upload, the
In the case of intermittent upload, it is transmitted to the
All of the
As a result of the determination described above, when it is determined that the timing corresponds to the transmission timing (step S23), the

D. Operation status management processing:

Next, the
Then, the
An example of phase determination is shown in the figure. A solid line in the drawing is the setting profile of the
In the figure, it is assumed that temperature a is obtained as sensor information. The temperature a is assumed to be lower than the set temperature for quenching. In such a case, if the phase is determined only by the temperature, it may be determined to be the cooling phase like the temperature b. However, in this embodiment, the

By retrieving data based on the work ID in this manner, a series of information relating to the machining applied to the work can be obtained.

If you click any process on the left screen, it will move to the right screen. On the screen on the right side, the results of processing applied to the work are displayed as measured values based on the sensor information of the
According to the machining history management process, it is possible to easily confirm what kind of machining has been performed for each workpiece. In addition, by displaying the set values and measured values in each process, it is possible to check the deviation between the machining applied to the workpiece and the originally set profile. As a result, when the workpiece does not meet the required quality, it is possible to investigate the cause.
Management of processing histories does not necessarily have to be performed on a user-by-user basis, and processing histories by different users may be mixed and displayed. In the present embodiment, in the

FIG. 11 is a flowchart of learning model generation processing. This is a process mainly executed by the learning
The generation of the learning model can be executed at various timings. For example, it may be executed each time a new machining is completed. The generation timing of the learning model is controlled based on
When starting the process, the

If it is not the generation timing (step S62), the
A learning model can be generated by various methods, but in this embodiment, the k-nearest neighbor method is used to generate a failure prediction learning model. If the deviation between the set profile and the measured value can be evaluated with a single index, there is no need to use machine learning. The degree of anomaly was evaluated. In such a case, the learning model is generated using the setting profile and the sensor information as explanatory variables and the degree of deviation abnormality as the objective variable. The algorithm for generating the learning model is not limited to the k-nearest neighbor method, and various methods can be appropriately selected.

The sensor information may be stored as time-series data as it is, or representative values such as temperature and pressure may be used.
