Description
The present invention relates to an algae culture system and an algae culture method, and more particularly to a subtropical and tropical algae culture system and algae culture method using exhaust gas and waste water discharged from a business establishment such as a thermal power plant.
BACKGROUND ART In recent years, from the standpoint of environmental conservation such as global warming, the treatment of carbon dioxide contained in exhaust gases emitted from businesses that use fossil fuels such as coal and petroleum has become a problem. In particular, the concentration of carbon dioxide in the exhaust gas emitted from thermal power plants is very high, about 14%, which is about 40 times the concentration of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, which is 0.034%. As a method for removing and recovering carbon dioxide contained in such exhaust gas, a technique is known in which the photosynthetic ability of the organism is used to fix it in the organism using solar energy (for example,

Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to provide an algae culture system and an algae culture method capable of efficiently culturing subtropical and tropical algae using warm waste water and exhaust gas from a business establishment. .
In order to solve the above problems, the first invention is to provide an exhaust gas containing carbon dioxide discharged from a business establishment established on the coast of the sea, and sea water taken in from the sea by the business establishment, heated and discharged. An algae culture system according to a second aspect of the present invention is the algae culture system according to the first aspect, wherein the culture unit has a water depth of 0.5 meters or more and 10 meters or less, and the algae It is characterized by being cultivated at a depth of 5 meters from the water surface of the culture section.
A third aspect of the present invention is a temperature control system consisting of exhaust gas containing carbon dioxide discharged from a business establishment standing on the coast of the sea and seawater taken in from the sea by the business establishment, heated and discharged. A method for cultivating algae of any one of Eucheuma muricatum, spinosum, constrictor ivy, and human egusa by using waste water, wherein the treated exhaust gas is purified from at least a part of the exhaust gas to produce a treated exhaust gas containing carbon dioxide. a dissolution step of supplying at least a portion of the warm waste water, dissolving a portion of the treated exhaust gas in the warm waste water using an ejector to obtain culture water having a high carbon dioxide concentration, and culturing the algae. a supply step of supplying the remainder of the treated exhaust gas and the culture water to the culture unit, wherein a water pipe through which the culture water discharged from the ejector passes is provided with a helical vane, The method for culturing algae is characterized in that air bubbles in the treated exhaust gas generated by the ejector are subdivided by the blades.
According to the algae culture system according to the first invention, the carbon dioxide contained in the exhaust gas can be fixed to the algae by supplying culture water with a high carbon dioxide concentration to the culture unit. As a result, carbon dioxide, which causes global warming, can be effectively used for culturing algae. In addition, since the culture water is produced using warm waste water, the heat of the warm waste water, which is discarded as waste heat, can be effectively used for culturing algae. Furthermore, by using warm effluent from seawater for the cultivation of algae, the algae absorb nutrients containing nitrogen and phosphorus contained in the seawater, promoting their growth and eliminating the need to add fertilizers separately. Therefore, algae can be cultured at low cost.
Furthermore, since the air bubbles in the treated exhaust gas generated from the ejector are subdivided by the blades of the water pipe, the treated exhaust gas can be efficiently dissolved in the culture water to increase the carbon dioxide concentration in the culture water. Thereby, carbon dioxide can be efficiently supplied to algae cultured in the culture section.
In addition, according to the algae culture system according to the first invention, all of the cultured Eucheuma muricatum, spinosum, constrictor ivy, and human egusa can be used as food raw materials, so these algae newly generate greenhouse gases. It is possible to reduce the burden on the environment without
According to the algae culture system according to the second invention, since the algae are cultured at a distance of 5 meters from the water surface, they can receive sufficient natural light and promote the growth of the algae through photosynthesis. Production maintenance and management, harvesting, etc. are facilitated, and stable culture can be performed.
According to the method for cultivating algae according to the third invention, in the dissolution process, the treated exhaust gas containing carbon dioxide purified from the exhaust gas is dissolved in the warm waste water and supplied to the culture unit as culture water. can be immobilized on algae . As a result, carbon dioxide, which causes global warming, can be effectively used for culturing algae. In addition, since the heat of the hot waste water is transferred to the culturing unit in the supplying process, the heat that is discarded as waste heat can be effectively used for culturing the algae. Furthermore, by using warm effluent from seawater for the cultivation of algae, the algae absorb nutrients containing nitrogen and phosphorus contained in the seawater, promoting their growth and eliminating the need to add fertilizers separately. Therefore, algae can be cultured at low cost.
Furthermore, since the air bubbles in the treated exhaust gas generated by the ejector are subdivided by the vanes of the water pipe, the treated exhaust gas can be dissolved in the culture water to increase the carbon dioxide concentration of the culture water. It is possible to reduce the burden on the environment without
The
An
The
The hot
The treated exhaust gas supply unit 3 has a
In the NOx/
The dissolving unit 5 is provided for dissolving the carbon dioxide contained in the treated
The
The
When the

The water from which the foam has been separated and removed overflows the
As shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, the
The

The
The
Four
The
Four
The amount of carbon fixation when Eucheuma muricatum is cultured under the conditions in Table 1 is 20.7 to 43.1% by mass after drying, and the carbon fixation amount when spinosum is cultured under the conditions in Table 1 is 18 after drying. ~40% by mass.
In the
In the
Next, based on the water thermometer provided in the
Next, based on the sunshine meter provided in the
Both Eucheuma muricatum and spinosum are preferably cultured within a range of 0.5 m from the sea surface, but
According to the
In addition, since the
Furthermore, by supplying the
In addition, since the water temperature of the
Next, an
As shown in FIGS. 7 and 8, the
The
According to the
The algae culture system and algae culture method according to the present invention are not limited to the above-described embodiments, and various modifications are possible within the scope of the invention described in the claims.
