Description
Claims (15)
- 電気手術システムであって、
ハンドルアセンブリと該ハンドルアセンブリに接続されたジョーとを有する電気手術器具と、
前記電気手術器具に取外し可能に連結された電気手術ジェネレータとを備え、
該電気手術ジェネレータが、前記電気手術器具のジョーと接触する組織の領域に付与されるRFエネルギの電圧レベルを、
第1の所定期間に亘り初期電圧スパイクを生成し、
前記第1の所定期間が経過した後、電圧レベルを低下させ引続き電圧レベルを上昇させ、前記低下および上昇が前記第1の所定期間より長い第2の所定期間にわたらせ、
前記電気手術器具に接触する組織の領域におけるRFエネルギの測定電流が所定の電流閾値より低くなったとき、前記電圧レベルを上昇後電圧レベルに保持し、
前記電圧レベルを、第3の所定期間の間、前記上昇後電圧レベルに保持した後、前記電気手術器具へのRFエネルギの供給を終了することによって、管理する、
ことを特徴とする電気手術システム。 - 前記上昇の後の電圧レベルと、前記上昇後電圧レベルとが等しい、
請求項1に記載の電気手術システム。 - 前記上昇の後の電圧レベルが、前記上昇後電圧レベルより高い、
請求項1に記載の電気手術システム。 - 前記第3の所定期間が、前記第2の所定期間より長い、
請求項1に記載の電気手術システム。 - 前記電気手術器具の前記ジョーは、複数の露頭部を有する少なくとも1つの電極を備えている、
請求項1に記載の電気手術システム。 - 前記ジョーは、湾曲しており、前記電気手術器具は、前記複数の露頭部の間で該湾曲したジョーを通って移動可能なブレードを更に備えている、
請求項5に記載の電気手術システム。 - RFエネルギの測定フェーズが、前記第2の所定期間の間に、所定フェーズしきい値に等しいまたはこれを下回ったとき、前記引続く上昇を終わらせ、前記RFエネルギの電圧レベルを前記上昇後電圧レベルに保持する、
請求項1に記載の電気手術システム。 - 前記RFエネルギの測定された電力が、前記第3の所定期間の間に、所定電力しきい値に等しいまたはこれを下回ったとき、前記電気手術システムへのRFエネルギの供給を終了する、
請求項1に記載の電気手術システム。 - 前記供給されたRFエネルギの測定電流が、固定された期間の間、前記電気手術ジェネレータが供給することができる最大許容電流の所定割合より大きいとき、前記電気手術へのRFエネルギの供給を終了する、
請求項1に記載の電気手術システム。 - 1または2以上のエラーを検出すると、前記電気手術ジェネレータは、前記電気手術器具へのRFエネルギの供給を終了する、
請求項1に記載の電気手術システム。 - 前記1または2以上のエラーが、短絡エラーまたは開回路エラーである、
請求項10に記載の電気手術システム。 - 前記電気手術ジェネレータからの供給RFエネルギの測定フェーズが、所定フェーズエラー値と等しい又はこれを超えたとき、前記短絡エラーが前記電気手術ジェネレータによって検出される、
請求項11に記載の電気手術システム。 - 前記所定フェーズエラー値が60度である、
請求項12に記載の電気手術システム。 - 前記供給されたRFエネルギの測定電流が所定電流エラー値と等しい又はこれを超えたとき、前記開回路エラーが前記電気手術ジェネレータによって検出される、
請求項11に記載の電気手術システム。 - 前記所定電流エラー値が、2または4Ampsである、
請求項14に記載の電気手術システム。
