Description
The present disclosure relates to power storage modules.
Conventionally, various proposals have been made for power storage modules including power storage devices and other devices. For example, the power storage module described in Japanese Patent Laying-Open No. 2014-58249 includes a battery, a battery frame, a duct, a sirocco fan, and a plurality of electrical accessory parts.
A battery includes a plurality of battery cells, each battery cell being connected in series. A battery is housed in a battery frame. The upper surface of the battery frame is formed with an intake port for taking air into the battery frame, and the lower surface of the battery frame is formed with a vent hole. The duct connects the vent formed in the battery frame and the sirocco fan.
The sirocco fan and electric auxiliary machine parts are arranged on the rear side of the battery frame. The duct is bent upward from the battery frame side toward the sirocco fan. In addition, an electric accessory part includes a junction box and a converter.
When the sirocco fan is driven, the cooling air enters from the intake port, and the cooling air flows downward from above the battery. After that, the cooling air that has cooled the battery is discharged to the outside through the vent, the duct, and the sirocco fan.
The junction box is typically connected to the power terminals of the battery and carries high voltage current through the junction box. The converter is connected to the junction box and high voltage current also flows through the converter.
On the other hand, a battery is generally provided with a temperature sensor, a current sensor, a voltage sensor, and the like. Each sensor is connected to a detector that detects the measurements taken by that sensor.
In the power storage module configured as described above, when electric power is charged and discharged from the battery, current flows in the battery. At this time, current from each battery cell is concentrated in a portion of the power storage device located near and near the power terminal, and the temperature of the portion located near and near the power terminal tends to be high.
In Japanese Unexamined Patent Application Publication No. 2014-58249, cooling air is supplied from the upper surface side of the battery, and cooling of the power terminals of the battery and the parts located around them is not considered, and the power terminals may become hot. There is

The present disclosure has been made in view of the problems described above, and an object thereof is to provide a power storage module in which a power terminal and a portion located around the power terminal of the power storage device are prevented from becoming hot. That is.
A power storage module according to the present disclosure includes a power storage device including a first side surface and a second side surface opposite to the first side surface; power terminals provided on the first side surface; A first device provided on one side, a sensor provided in the power storage device, a second device connected to the sensor and provided on the second side, and a power storage device provided on the first side and a cooling device that supplies a coolant for cooling the power storage device to the power storage device. The cooling device supplies coolant to the power storage device from the first side surface.
In the power storage module described above, when a current flows through the power storage device, the current tends to concentrate at the power terminals, and the temperature of the power terminals and the surrounding portions of the power storage device tends to rise. On the other hand, by supplying the coolant from the first side surface where the power terminal is provided, the coolant before being warmed by the power storage device is supplied to the first power terminal and the surrounding portion of the power storage device. can do. As a result, a relatively low-temperature coolant can be supplied to the power terminals and the like, and an increase in the temperature of the power terminals and the like can be suppressed.
According to the power storage module according to the present disclosure, it is possible to prevent the power terminal and the surrounding portion of the power storage device from becoming hot.

As the cooling air C flows through the
As the cooling air C flows through the
As a result, among the plurality of
A case where current flows through the
The example shown in FIG. 7 shows a state in which a current flows in from the
A current I passes through the
As shown in FIG. 7, the
On the other hand, in FIG. 6, the temperature of the cooling air C flowing through the
For this reason, the
In FIG. 1, in this embodiment, the
Therefore, the plurality of

The virtual straight line L1 is located inside the cooling
Since the cooling
In addition, in the above embodiment, the example using the cooling air C as the refrigerant has been described, but a liquid refrigerant or the like may be used.
