Description
The present invention relates to pants-type wearing articles including disposable diapers and diaper covers.
2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, a disposable wearing article is known which has a pant-like shape by means of side seams joining both side edges of front and back waist regions. For example, Patent Document 1 discloses a pants-type wearing article in which both side edges of front and back waist regions are joined to each other via side seal regions having a plurality of seal portions intermittently arranged in the vertical direction. ing. The side seal areas are divided into an upper area located on the waist opening side, a lower area located on the leg opening side, and an intermediate area located between the upper and lower side areas.
In the pants-type wearing article according to the invention disclosed in Patent Document 1, the arrangement of the seal portions in the side seal regions is appropriately adjusted so that the seal strength in the middle region is lower than the seal strength in the upper and lower side regions. As a result, peeling of the upper and lower side regions during wearing can be suppressed, and peeling of the middle region can be facilitated when the diaper is discarded.
However, since the upper region has a large number of laminations of constituent sheets, a large mass, and a high sealing strength, a rigidity difference occurs between the upper region and the intermediate region. As a result, when the peeling operation is performed, a lateral tear may occur in the vicinity of the boundary between the upper region and the intermediate region where the arrangement of the seal portions changes. Similarly, since the lower region has a higher number of laminated sheets and a higher mass than the intermediate region, and has a high seal strength, a difference in rigidity occurs between the intermediate region and the lower region, and when peeling operation is performed , there is a risk of lateral tearing occurring in the vicinity of the boundary between the intermediate region and the lower region where the arrangement of the seals changes.
Also, in order to suppress such lateral tearing, it is conceivable to change the design of the arrangement of the seal portion in more detail according to the number of laminated sheets, etc. In that case, seal formation at the time of manufacture for each product In the process, it is necessary to change the configuration of the manufacturing apparatus and the pressurization/heating conditions, which is not preferable from the viewpoint of manufacturing cost.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION An object of the present invention is to provide a pants-type wearing article that does not cause lateral tears in the vicinity of the boundary where the number of laminated sheets changes when the side seal regions are peeled off.

The
The
The
Since the first
The first
Here, the "smooth, soft, and soft feel" of the first
The first
When the first
The total area ratio of the fused portions to the area of the first
The mass of the first
The apparent density of the first
The average fiber diameter of the constituent fibers (mainly polyethylene fibers) of the first
The
Composite fibers preferably contain at least two or more components having mutually different melting points. is used. In particular, from the viewpoint of industrial low cost, core-sheath fibers in which the melting point of the component of the sheath is lower than that of the component of the core, particularly core-sheath fibers such as PET/PE and PP/PE (core/sheath). is preferably used.
The mass of the second
In this embodiment, the second
<Measuring method of melting point>
The "melting point" of the first fiber and the second fiber made of thermoplastic resin fibers is the endothermic peak when changing from solid to liquid when measured with a differential calorimeter at a temperature increase rate of 10 ° C./min. means the peak top temperature of As the differential calorimeter, for example, a DSC-60 type DSC measurement device manufactured by Shimadzu Corporation can be used .

As the elastic material, in addition to natural rubber, various known synthetic rubbers such as styrene rubber, urethane rubber, ester rubber, polyurethane, and polyethylene can be used without limitation. Although the fineness of each elastic body is not particularly limited, it is 200 to 1100 dtex, preferably 300 to 1000 dtex. If the fineness is less than 200 dtex, it may not be possible to exhibit the required stretchability in a state where the shape and size of the gathers are controlled by the pitch between the elastic bodies 20 and 23 .

Referring to FIGS. 5(a) and 5(b), the side edges 7 and 8 of the
The
The longitudinal dimension L1 of the side edges 7, 8 of the
The
In the side edges 7 and 8 of the
There are a plurality of ways to disconnect the side edges 28, 29 of the front and

Further, referring to FIG. 7(c), when the wearer or the wearing assistant holds the front and
Normally, when the side edges 28, 29 of the front and
When the side edges of the diaper have a region with a large number of sheets and a region with a small number of sheets, the difference in tensile strength allows the side seal regions to be peeled off and the bonding of the side edges of the front and back waist regions to be released. When doing so, a difference in rigidity occurs near the boundary where the number of sheets changes, and there is a risk that lateral tearing will occur toward the outside or inside in the lateral direction X. When the diaper is torn outward in the lateral direction X, part of the diaper is separated and tearing must be started again from the torn portion, so that the tearing operation can be performed by grasping the diaper well. Can not. On the other hand, when the lateral tear occurs inward in the lateral direction X, there is a risk that excrement stored inside the diaper may leak out. In order to suppress such lateral tearing at the time of disposal, a conventional technique is known in which the bonding strength of the side seal region is adjusted according to the difference in the number of sheets, depending on the area, arrangement mode, pitch, etc. of the seal portion. The construction of the manufacturing apparatus for the seal forming process for forming the side seal areas has to be appropriately changed in accordance with the sheet construction of the diaper to be used, which increases the burden on manufacturing.
In the
Specifically, the maximum value of the seal strength of the
In the present invention, the reason why the seal strength of the
That is, when the
Moreover, it is preferable that the number of the first
The first fibers of the first

<Tensile strength and elongation>
Table 1 below shows the measurement results of the tensile strength and elongation of the first and second
<Measurement method>
First, from the first and second
Referring to Table 1, the maximum tensile strength in the transverse direction X (MD direction) of the first

<Average seal strength>
Table 2 below shows the measurement results of the average seal strength of the diapers according to Examples 1-4 and Comparative Examples 1-8. The average seal strength was measured using an autograph type tensile tester (model AG-KN) manufactured by Shimadzu Corporation. Both side edges of the front and rear waist regions of the diapers of Examples and Comparative Examples are formed by the inner layer positioned on the skin facing side, the outer layer positioned on the non-skin facing side, and the intermediate layer positioned between the inner and outer layers. It has a three-layer structure, and the intermediate region and the lower region have a two-layer structure of inner and outer layers. Both side edges of the front and rear waist regions are joined to each other via side seal regions in which a plurality of dot-shaped seal portions of the same shape and size are uniformly arranged, and the side seal regions extend from both side edges of the diaper. It is located in a 20 mm wide area extending inward in the lateral direction X. The first

The seal strength was measured by the following method.
First, at both side edges (dimension in the vertical direction Y of 150 mm) of the diapers of Example 1-4 and Comparative Example 1-8, a red pen extends in the vertical direction at a position spaced 25 mm inward in the horizontal direction from both side edges. Add a cut line. Both side edges were cut along the cut line to obtain a sample (25 mm x 150 mm) for measurement including the entire side seal area. Next, the top edge of the front waist region and the top edge of the back waist region of the sample were each fixed to chucks (distance between chucks: 20 mm), and peeled at a peel speed of 500 mm/min in a 180° direction. The side seal areas were peeled off to measure the average seal strength in the upper, middle and lower areas. The average seal strength was measured 5 times, and the average value was defined as the average seal strength (N) D2, D3 and D4 for each region. The maximum seal strength (maximum seal strength in the upper region) of the measured seal strengths was defined as maximum seal strength (N) D1.
Referring to Table 2, in Examples 1-4, the maximum seal strength value D1 of the upper zone was less than 6 times the average seal strength value D4 of the lower zone. Therefore, there is no large difference between the seal strength of the upper area and the seal strength of the lower area, and the side seal areas can be smoothly torn and peeled from the upper area to the intermediate area and the lower area. Moreover, D1/D4 of Examples 1 and 2 was 6.0 or less. In Comparative Examples 1 and 2, as in Examples 1 and 2, the values of D1/D4 are different, although the first nonwoven fabric has one layer and the second nonwoven fabric has a three-layer structure of two layers. , 11. 62 and 17.5. This means that, in Examples 1 and 2, the first nonwoven fabric is located in the outer layer, so that the seal strength is lower than when the second nonwoven fabric is located in the outer layer.
Further, when comparing Examples 3 and 4 with Comparative Examples 3 and 4, both of them have a three-layer structure in which the first nonwoven fabric has two layers and the second nonwoven fabric has one layer. The D1/D4 value of Comparative Example 4 is 6.0 or less, while the D1/D4 value of Comparative Example 3 is 17.1 and the D1/D4 value of Comparative Example 4 is 18.48. As in Examples 1 and 2, in Examples 3 and 4, the first nonwoven fabric mainly composed of the first fibers having a low tensile strength and a low melting point is positioned in the outer layer. Since the outer surfaces of both side edges of the waist region are formed from the first

Referring to FIG. 8(a), in this modification, an

Referring to FIG. 8(c), according to this modification, in addition to the folded
