Description
表1、2は、本発明に使用できる実施例(試料No.1~9)のガラスを示すものである。
表1の試料No.6のガラスとなるようにガラスバッチを調製した。次いで、このガラスバッチを電気溶融炉に投入し、1650℃で溶融した後、清澄槽、均質化槽内で溶融ガラスを清澄均質化した後、ポット内で成形に適した粘度に調整した。次いで溶融ガラスをオーバーフローダウンドロー装置により板状に成形し、徐冷炉で徐冷した。その後、板状ガラスを切断することにより、1500×1850×0.7mmの寸法を有するガラス板を作製した。
β-OH値 = (1/X)log(T1/T2)
X:ガラス肉厚(mm)
T1:参照波長3846cm-1における透過率(%)
T2:水酸基吸収波長3600cm-1付近における最小透過率(%)
熱収縮率(ppm) = [{△Ll(μm)+△L2(μm)}×103]/l0(mm)

Claims (6)
- B2O3が3質量%以下のガラスとなるように調製されたガラスバッチを電気溶融炉で溶融する溶融工程、溶融ガラスを板状ガラスに成形する成形工程、板状ガラスを徐冷炉で徐冷する徐冷工程、徐冷した板状ガラスを所定寸法に切断することによって、β-OH値が0.2/mm未満で、熱収縮率が15ppm以下、歪点が710℃以上のガラス板を得る切断工程、を含み、前記ガラス板の熱収縮率を測定し、熱収縮率の目標値に対するばらつきが±1ppm以下となるように徐冷工程における前記板状ガラスの冷却速度を調整することを特徴とするガラス板の製造方法。
- 実質的にB2O3を含有しないことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のガラス板の製造方法。
- 板状ガラスの冷却速度が、徐冷点から(徐冷点-100℃)の温度範囲で300℃/分~1000℃/分の平均冷却速度であることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載のガラス板の製造方法。
- 成形工程が、ダウンドロー成形であり、徐冷炉の長さが3m以上であることを特徴とする請求項1~3のいずれか1項に記載のガラス板の製造方法。
- ガラス板が、短辺1500mm以上、長辺1850mm以上の寸法を有することを特徴とする請求項1~4のいずれか1項に記載のガラス板の製造方法。
- ガラス板が、0.7mm以下の厚みを有することを特徴とする請求項1~5のいずれか1項に記載のガラス板の製造方法。
