Description
The present invention relates to a moving device having a moving body that moves via a belt, and a belt tension measuring method for the moving device.
2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, a moving device having a moving body that moves via a belt has been widely used in various mechanical devices. As such a moving device, for example, a structure in which a moving body fixed to a toothed belt stretched between a driving pulley and a driven pulley is moved together with the toothed belt by the rotation of the driving pulley, or a structure in which the moving body is A configuration is known in which a toothed belt having both ends fixed is wound around a drive pulley provided, and a moving body moves along the toothed belt as the drive pulley rotates.
In a moving device using such a belt, the tension of the belt decreases due to wear and elongation of the belt during use. If the tension of the belt is less than the specified value, efficient transmission of the driving force becomes impossible, and problems such as abnormal noise and a decrease in positional accuracy of the moving body occur. On the other hand, when the tension of the belt is higher than the specified value, an excessive load is applied to the belt, resulting in problems such as a shortened service life. Therefore, it is necessary to periodically measure the tension of the belt to check whether it is adjusted to the specified value.
As a method for measuring the tension of a belt, a method of acoustically, mechanically, electrically or optically acquiring the vibration frequency of the belt and calculating the tension based on the acquired frequency is generally used. (For example, Patent Document 1, etc.).
In the moving device having the moving body as described above, since the moving body moves, the span (length) of the belt on one side and the other side of the moving body changes depending on the position of the moving body. Therefore, when measuring the tension of the belt, (1) the moving device is stopped, (2) the moving body is moved to a specific position where the span of the belt becomes a specified length, and (3) the belt is moved. A procedure of (4) measuring the vibration frequency with a measuring instrument such as a tension meter was required.
However, in the case of a mobile device used in a production facility that operates 24 hours a day, stopping the operation of the device directly leads to a decrease in production efficiency, which is not preferable. Therefore, there is a strong need to be able to measure belt tension without shutting down the moving device.
On the other hand, in the conventional procedure, workers bring measuring instruments and carry out measurements. For safety, it usually has a function to make an emergency stop when it approaches. Therefore, it is difficult for an operator to measure the tension of the belt while the device is in operation. In addition, when calculating the tension from the vibration frequency of the belt, it is necessary to consider the ambient temperature of the belt. is also a task that imposes a burden on workers.
From the standpoint of reducing the work load on the worker, it is possible to eliminate the work of the worker by simply installing a sensor or the like capable of measuring the vibration frequency on the belt. For example, by installing an acceleration sensor or the like on the surface of the belt or on a component of the moving device to which the belt vibration propagates, it is possible to obtain some numerical value associated with the belt vibration.
However, in the configuration in which the sensor is installed on the belt surface, bonding, bolting, or the like is required to fix the sensor or the like to the belt. In the case of gluing, adhesive must be applied to the belt, and the adhesive may deteriorate the belt. Moreover, in the case of fixing with bolts, it is necessary to provide fixing through holes or the like in the belt, which may reduce the strength of the belt. Furthermore, in the configuration in which the sensor is installed in the structural member of the moving device, since the structural member is made of a high-rigidity material such as metal, the magnitude of the transmitted belt vibration is reduced, and vibrations other than the belt are transmitted. It becomes difficult to distinguish from the resulting noise, and it is difficult to obtain practically sufficient measurement accuracy.
Further, the above-mentioned Patent Document 1 discloses a method of measuring the vibration of a lever whose tip is fixed to a belt and vibrates together with the belt. A clamping configuration is adopted. In such a configuration, the belt moves while being sandwiched between the rollers, and therefore the belt may be subject to rolling wear and deterioration. In addition, in this method, since the lever has a relatively complicated structure, there is also the problem of high cost and low maintainability.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and is a moving device and a belt that can measure the tension of a belt with a relatively simple configuration and with practically no problem accuracy without stopping the operation of the device. The object is to provide a tension measurement method.
In order to achieve the above objects, the present invention employs the following technical means. First, the present invention is premised on a moving device provided with a moving body that moves along a fixed belt or a moving body that is fixed to a belt and moves with the movement of the belt. A moving device according to the present invention includes a vibrating member, a sensor, and a tension calculator. The vibrating member is fixed to a component other than the belt of the moving device in a state in which a portion of the vibrating member is in contact with a specific position of the belt, and vibrates along with the vibration of the belt. The sensor is fixed to the vibrating member and detects vibration of the belt. The tension calculator calculates the tension of the belt based on the vibration of the belt detected by the sensor.
In this moving device, the vibration of the belt is detected via a vibrating member that easily propagates the vibration of the belt. can be detected accurately. In addition, since the tension of the belt can be measured while the apparatus is in operation, the operating efficiency of the apparatus is not lowered.
In the moving device described above, a configuration can be employed in which, when the moving body stops at a preset measurement position, the sensor detects vibration of the belt caused by the movement of the moving body to the measurement position. Also, it is possible to employ a configuration in which the vibrating member contacts a specific position of the belt while pressing the belt. Furthermore, it is also possible to employ a configuration in which the vibrating member further includes an abrasion prevention portion at the contact portion with the belt. In addition, a temperature sensor for detecting the ambient temperature is further provided, and the tension calculation unit calculates the tension of the belt based on the temperature detected by the temperature sensor and the vibration of the belt detected by the sensor. can also
On the other hand, from another aspect, the present invention provides a belt tension measuring method in a moving apparatus having a moving body that moves along a fixed belt or a moving body that is fixed to a belt and moves with the belt. can also That is, in the tension measuring method according to the present invention, first,
A moving body is moved to a preset measurement position. Vibration of the belt due to movement to the measurement position is then sensed via a vibrating member in contact with the specific position of the belt. Then, the tension of the belt is calculated based on the detected vibration of the belt.
According to the present invention, in a moving device provided with a moving body that moves along a fixed belt or a moving body that is fixed to a belt and moves along with the movement of the belt, the operation of the device is stopped with a relatively simple configuration. It is possible to measure the tension of the belt with an accuracy that poses no problem in practice.
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described in more detail with reference to the drawings. Here, the present invention is embodied as a moving device, which is a mechanism for linearly moving a moving body. In addition, the present invention can be applied to a moving device that performs uniaxial movement in, for example, an orthogonal coordinate type robot or a transport device.
FIG. 1 is a diagram schematically showing a
As shown in FIG. 1 , a moving
A
The moving
Further, the moving
FIG. 2 is an enlarged view of the main part showing the vicinity of the fixing
In the moving
A
A
The
Next, the operation of the
As described above, in this embodiment tension measurements are performed while the moving
When the procedure start instruction is input, the
When the moving
Then, the

As described above, according to the moving
In addition, according to the moving
In the above-described embodiment, an example in which the present invention is applied to a moving device in which the moving
FIG. 5 is a diagram schematically showing the
As shown in FIG. 5 , the
Inside the
The driving
As shown in FIG. 6, the moving
As in the moving

As described above, according to the present invention, it is possible to measure the tension of the belt with a relatively simple configuration, without stopping the operation of the apparatus, and with a practically acceptable accuracy.
The above-described embodiments do not limit the technical scope of the present invention, and various modifications and applications other than those already described are possible within the scope of the present invention. For example, in the above-described embodiment, the configuration in which the
