Description
TECHNICAL FIELD The present invention relates to a tube heat exchanger leak determination method for determining whether or not there is a leak in a tube through which a medium for exchanging heat with a gaseous substance such as air or exhaust gas passes.
Heat exchangers are sometimes provided in facilities where high temperature exhaust is discharged, such as power plants and factories, to cool the exhaust or to recover the heat of the exhaust. There are various types of heat exchangers, one of which is a tubular heat exchanger. For example,
Tubular heat exchangers typically use multiple tubes rather than a single tube. For this reason, for example, if one tube becomes perforated due to deterioration or damage and the liquid (medium) inside leaks out (leakage), it is necessary to prevent damage to other tubes and surrounding equipment. The perforated tube should be identified and repaired (replaced, plugged, etc.) as soon as possible. However, during operation of the heat exchanger, it is difficult to visually check for leaks occurring in the tubes due to the installation environment of the heat exchanger (generally installed in a smoke duct).
Therefore, conventionally, when identifying a leaking tube, first, after the medium is discharged from the tube, one of the plurality of tubes is cut and an airtightness test is performed. As a result, if the pressure is maintained, it can be determined that there is no leak, so the cut tube is restored, and the operations of cutting, sealing, and restoring are repeated until the leaking tube is found. Then, if the tightness test reveals a tube with a pressure drop, that tube is identified as the leaking tube. Once the leaking tube is identified, repair (replace, plug) the tube. The medium is then allowed to flow through the tubes and the heat exchanger is restored.
As described above, the conventional method requires, for example, end-to-end cutting, sealing and repairing operations to be repeated until the leaking tube is identified. For this reason, it takes a long time to identify the problem, the repair cost increases, and the burden on the worker is heavy. Therefore, there is a demand for the development of a technique that can more efficiently identify a leaking tube.
In view of such problems, the present invention can easily and quickly identify a leaking tube, shorten the time to identify it, reduce repair costs, and reduce the burden on workers. An object of the present invention is to provide a method for judging leakage of a tubular heat exchanger.
In order to solve the above problems, a representative configuration of the tube heat exchanger leak determination method according to the present invention is to determine whether there is a leak in a tube through which a medium that performs heat exchange with a gaseous substance passes. A tube heat exchanger leak judgment method, the inside of the smoke duct where the heat exchanger is installed is under negative pressure, the passage of the medium through the tube is stopped, the medium inside the tube is discharged and released to the atmosphere. 3) measuring the temperature of the tube outside the smoke duct after the elapse of a predetermined time, and judging that the tube is leaking if the temperature of the tube is less than a predetermined value.
When the inside of the smoke duct in which the heat exchanger is installed is under negative pressure, if there is a leak in the tube, the inside of the tube from which the medium is removed will also be under negative pressure. When the air is released in this state, the air is sucked into the inside of the tube, and the temperature of the leaking tube approaches the air temperature and falls below a predetermined value. Therefore, it is possible to measure the temperature of the tube and determine that the tube is leaking if the temperature is below a predetermined value. This allows, for example, a leaking tube to be easily and quickly identified without the need for end-to-end cutting, sealing, and restoration work, reducing time to identification, reducing repair costs, and reducing labor costs. It is possible to reduce the burden of

It is characterized by
Even in such a configuration, if there is a leak in the tube, the temperature of the leaking tube drops due to the air being sucked into the inside of the tube when the tube is released to the atmosphere. At this time, among the plurality of tubes, a normal tube in which no leak has occurred does not absorb air, so that the temperature does not drop. This creates a distinct temperature difference between leaking and non-leaking tubes. Therefore, if the temperature difference exceeds a predetermined value, it can be determined that a leak has occurred in the tube on the lower temperature side, and the same effect as above can be obtained.

As shown in FIG. 1, a

FIG. 3 is a flow chart of the leak determination method according to this embodiment. As shown in FIG. 3, in the leak determination method of this embodiment, first, the passage of the medium through the

As described above, when the inside of the

In the example shown in FIG. 4, the temperature of the 13th upper tube (tube) is lower than the other tubes by 10° C. or more (the temperature difference exceeds a predetermined value). Therefore, it can be determined that a leak occurs in the upper tube of No. 13. As described above, according to the leak determination method of the present embodiment, the leaking
In the example shown in FIG. 5, the 12th upper tube (tube) has a temperature lower than the
Using the leak determination method described above, the temperatures of 56 tubes were measured, and the
Note that in the above embodiment, it is determined whether the temperature difference between the plurality of
Also, in the above embodiment, the method for determining leaks when the
On the other hand, the
