Claims (13)
- 対向配置されている第1および第2外郭基板;前記第1および第2外郭基板の間に能動液晶素子を含み、
前記能動液晶素子は、前記外郭基板と前記能動液晶素子との間及び前記能動液晶素子の側面にある接着フィルムによってカプセル化されており、
重心での厚さが縁での厚さより薄く、
前記重心での厚さと縁での厚さの差が0.5%以上であり、
前記第1および第2外郭基板のうち少なくとも一つは曲面基板である、光学デバイス。 - 第1および第2外郭基板はすべて曲面基板である、請求項1に記載の光学デバイス。
- 第1および第2外郭基板の曲率半径の差が10%以内である、請求項1または2に記載の光学デバイス。
- 第1および第2外郭基板の曲率は互いに異なる、請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の光学デバイス。
- 曲面基板の曲率半径が100R~10,000Rの範囲内である、請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載の光学デバイス。
- 第1および第2外郭基板の中で曲面基板が形成する膨らんだ方向に沿ってより上部に存在する外郭基板が下部に存在する外郭基板に比べて大きい曲率半径を有する、請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載の光学デバイス。
- 第1および第2外郭基板はガラス基板である、請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載の光学デバイス。
- 第1および第2外郭基板の曲率中心は、第1および第2外郭基板の上部または下部のうち同じ部分に存在する、請求項2に記載の光学デバイス。
- 第1および第2外郭基板の間でカプセル化された偏光子をさらに含む、請求項1から8のいずれか一項に記載の光学デバイス。
- 能動液晶素子および偏光子は、第1および第2外郭基板と能動液晶素子の間、能動液晶素子と偏光子の間、偏光子と第1および第2外郭基板の間および能動液晶素子と偏光子の側面に存在する接着フィルムでカプセル化されている、請求項9に記載の光学デバイス。
- 能動液晶素子は、対向配置されている2枚の基材フィルムと前記2枚の基材フィルムの間に存在する能動液晶層を含む、請求項1から10のいずれか一項に記載の光学デバイス。
- 対向配置されている第1および第2外郭基板の間にある能動液晶素子を接着フィルムを使ったオートクレーブ工程を通じてカプセル化する段階を含み、
前記接着フィルムは、前記外郭基板と前記能動液晶素子との間および前記能動液晶素子の側面に存在し、
前記第1および第2外郭基板のうち少なくとも一つの基板は曲面基板であり、
前記第1および第2外郭基板は、互いに異なる曲率または曲率半径を有し、
前記第1および第2外郭基板の曲率または曲率半径の差が10%以内である、光学デバイスの製造方法。 - 一つ以上の開口部が形成されている車体;および前記開口部に装着された請求項1から11のいずれか一項に記載された光学デバイスを含む、自動車。
