本発明の建具は、建具枠と、前記建具枠内に配置される面材と、前記建具枠に取り付けられて前記面材を押さえる縦押縁および横押縁と、押縁用接続部材と、を備え、前記建具枠は、上枠、下枠および左右の縦枠で構成され、前記各枠の小口は45度の角度で切断されて突き合わせされて接合され、前記縦押縁および前記横押縁は、長手方向に連続する中空部を備え、かつ、長手方向の端部の小口は長手方向に対して45度の角度で切断され、前記縦押縁および前記横押縁の少なくとも一方の押縁は、第1分断押縁および第2分断押縁を備え、前記第1分断押縁および前記第2分断押縁は、他の押縁と突き合わされる前記小口が形成された端部側で前記枠に固定され、前記押縁用接続部材は、前記第1分断押縁および前記第2分断押縁間に配置され、前記第1分断押縁の見付面を覆う第1被覆部と、前記第2分断押縁の見付面を覆う第2被覆部と、を備え、前記第1被覆部および前記第2被覆部は、前記各分断押縁が収縮した際に生じる隙間を隠す壁部として機能することを特徴とする。
この建具によれば、前述した押縁用接続部材を備えるため、同じ作用効果を奏することができる。すなわち、縦押縁および横押縁の長手方向の端部は45度の角度で切断した小口とされ、互いに突き合わされているので、留めと呼ばれる納まりと同様の外観意匠とすることができる。したがって、押縁が取り付けられる建具枠の角部の納まりを、枠材を45度に切断した小口同士を溶着する留めの納まりとした場合に、建具枠と押縁の角部の納まりを共通化できて意匠性を向上できる。
また、縦押縁および横押縁の少なくとも一方の押縁を、第1分断押縁および第2分断押縁の2つの押縁に分断された分断押縁で構成し、第1分断押縁および第2分断押縁間に、押縁用接続部材が配置されている。このため、分断押縁の45度に切断された両端の小口が、他の押縁の小口に突き合わされた状態で分断押縁が伸縮した場合に、押縁用接続部材で接続された各分断押縁の中間部分が移動することで、前記伸縮による変位を吸収できる。そして、押縁用接続部材は、第1分断押縁、第2分断押縁の見付面を被覆するだけで固定されていないので、各分断押縁が収縮した場合にその移動を規制せず、分断押縁の収縮時に分断押縁が破損したり建具枠から外れることも防止できる。
さらに、押縁用接続部材の第1被覆部および第2被覆部は、各分断押縁が収縮した際に生じる隙間を隠す壁部として機能するため、分断押縁が収縮した際の隙間を目立たなくでき、この点でも意匠性を向上できる。

Further, at least one of the vertical ridge and the horizontal ridge is composed of a divided ridge divided into two ridges, a first divided ridge and a second divided ridge, and the ridge is formed between the first divided ridge and the second divided ridge. 前記一方の押縁の見付面を覆う第1被覆部と、
前記他方の押縁の見付面を覆う第2被覆部と、
前記一方の押縁が取り付けられる枠に固定される固定部と、を備え、
前記第2被覆部は、前記一方の押縁の長手方向に対する傾斜角度が45度である斜辺を備え、
前記第1被覆部および前記第2被覆部は、前記各押縁が収縮した際に生じる隙間を隠す壁部として機能する
