Description
本開示は、透光性部材の形成方法および発光装置の製造方法に関する。また、本開示は、発光装置にも関する。 The present disclosure relates to a method for forming a translucent member and a method for manufacturing a light emitting device. The present disclosure also relates to a light emitting device.
As a technique for forming a fine uneven shape, an imprint method for transferring the surface shape of a mold having fine irregularities to a layer of a resin material is known. The object whose shape is transferred by the imprint method is a thermoplastic resin or an ultraviolet curable resin. In the former, the mold is pressed against the thermoplastic resin, the thermoplastic resin is cured by heating, and then the mold is separated from the thermoplastic resin. In the latter, a mold that transmits ultraviolet rays is pressed against the ultraviolet curable resin, the ultraviolet curable resin is cured by irradiation with ultraviolet rays through the mold, and then the mold is separated from the ultraviolet curable resin.
The imprint method is used, for example, for forming an antireflection film for a display device, as disclosed in
インプリント法によれば、微細な凹凸形状を形成することが可能である。しかしながら、形状を付与可能な対象は、現状、未硬化の状態の熱可塑性樹脂または紫外線硬化性樹脂のいずれかであるという制約がある。 According to the imprint method, it is possible to form a fine uneven shape. However, there is a limitation that the object to which the shape can be given is currently either a uncured thermoplastic resin or an ultraviolet curable resin.

(第1の実施形態)
図1は、本開示の第1の実施形態による透光性部材の製造方法の概要を示すフローチャートである。図1に例示された透光性部材の製造方法は、概略的には、加熱された状態の樹脂体の主面に、複数の凸部を有する型を押し付けることにより、樹脂体の主面に複数の凹部を形成する工程(ステップS11)と、複数の凹部の形成後に、樹脂体の主面を紫外線で照射する工程(ステップS12)とを含む。
(First Embodiment)
FIG. 1 is a flowchart showing an outline of a method for manufacturing a translucent member according to the first embodiment of the present disclosure. The method for manufacturing the translucent member illustrated in FIG. 1 is generally obtained by pressing a mold having a plurality of convex portions onto the main surface of the resin body in a heated state, thereby pressing the main surface of the resin body. It includes a step of forming a plurality of recesses (step S11) and a step of irradiating the main surface of the resin body with ultraviolet rays after forming the plurality of recesses (step S12).
As described above, in the imprint method, which is one of the methods for forming a fine uneven shape, an uncured thermoplastic resin or an ultraviolet curable resin is used as a target for pressing the mold. On the other hand, in the embodiment of the present disclosure, the mold is pressed against a resin body containing a silicone resin which is a thermosetting resin, particularly a resin body in a cured state. The point that the mold is pressed against the cured resin body instead of the uncured state, and the point that the thermosetting resin is further irradiated with ultraviolet rays are unprecedented ideas. According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, although it is a resin body containing a silicone resin and is a cured resin body, for example, after forming a plurality of recesses using a mold, the resin body is irradiated with ultraviolet rays. By doing so, the shape formed by pressing the mold can be fixed. According to the embodiment of the present disclosure, for example, it is possible to impart a fine uneven shape to the surface of the thermosetting resin after curing.
以下、図面を参照しながら、透光性部材の製造方法の実施形態を詳細に説明する。 Hereinafter, embodiments of a method for manufacturing a translucent member will be described in detail with reference to the drawings.
まず、図2に示すように、樹脂体140Xを準備する。図2に示す例において、樹脂体140Xは、全体として板状であり、平面状の主面140aを有する。ここでは、樹脂体140Xは、板状の部材であるが、樹脂体140Xの形状は、任意である。図2においては樹脂体140Xの上面に相当する、主面140aの形状も、平面に限定されず、曲面であってもかまわない。
First, as shown in FIG. 2, the
樹脂体140Xは、透光性を有し、凹凸形状が付与された後、例えば、保護部材、光拡散部材等の光学部材として、発光素子、発光装置等の光出射側に配置され得る。なお、本明細書における「透光性」および「透光」の用語は、入射した光に対して拡散性を示すことをも包含するように解釈され、「透明」であることに限定されない。
The
The
The
The
樹脂体140Xは、購入または作製によって準備することができる。例えば、シリコーン樹脂を含むシリコーン樹脂原料をスプレー法、キャスト法、ポッティング法等の塗布法あるいはスクリーン印刷法によって基板等の支持体上に付与した後、支持体上の樹脂原料を硬化させることにより樹脂体140Xを得てもよい。あるいは、樹脂体140Xの形成にトランスファー成形、圧縮成形法等を適用してもよい。
The
次に、表面に凹凸形状を有する型を準備する。ここでは、図2に示すように、複数の凸部210を有する型200を用いる。型200の材料は、特に限定されず、例えば、硬化鋼、アルミニウム、ベリリウム銅合金等の一般的な材料を用いることができる。
Next, a mold having an uneven shape on the surface is prepared. Here, as shown in FIG. 2, a
In the configuration exemplified in FIG. 2, the
Next, as schematically shown in FIG. 2, the
Next, as schematically shown in FIG. 5, the
以上の工程により、図6に示すように、主面140aに複数の凹部140dを有する透光性部材140が得られる。なお、図6では、説明の便宜のために凹部140dを誇張して大きく描いている。
By the above steps, as shown in FIG. 6, a
この例では、型200の凸部210が、三角格子の格子点上にそれぞれの中心が位置する配置を有することに対応して、凹部140dも、三角格子の格子点上にそれぞれの中心が位置する配置を有する。主面140aの法線方向に沿った、凹部140dの開口から底までの距離、すなわち、凹部140dの深さは、0.9μm以上であり得る。なお、後に実施例により説明するように、紫外線の照射により、凹部140qと凹部140dとの間で形状の変化が生じることもある。
In this example, the
Translucency with respect to light of the emission peak wavelength of a light emitting element such as an LED or a light emitting device that may be arranged on the
According to the embodiment of the present disclosure, it is possible to further impart a shape to the surface of the cured resin body. As described with reference to FIG. 4, by pressing the
On the other hand, in the embodiment of the present disclosure, since the

In the configuration exemplified in FIG. 7, the
Here, the
発光素子110Aの発光ピーク波長の光に対する、透光性部材140Aの透過率は、典型的には、60%以上である。光を有効に利用する観点から、発光素子110Aの発光ピーク波長における透光性部材140Aの透過率が70%以上であると有益であり、80%以上であるとより有益である。
The transmittance of the
波長変換部材120Aは、ここでは、透光性部材140Aと同様に板状の形状を有する。波長変換部材120Aは、例えば、シリコーン樹脂等の母材と、蛍光体等の波長変換部材とを含有し、発光素子110Aからの光の少なくとも一部を吸収し、入射した光の波長とは異なる波長の光を発する。
Here, the

FIG. 8 is a flowchart showing an example of a method for manufacturing a light emitting device according to the second embodiment of the present disclosure. The method for manufacturing the light emitting device exemplified in FIG. 8 generally includes a step of preparing a light emitting body having a light emitting element and a translucent resin body (step S21) and a pattern of irregularities on the surface. The step (step S22) of forming a translucent member that at least covers the upper surface of the light emitting element is included. In the example described here, in the step of forming the translucent member, as shown in FIG. 9, a plurality of recesses are formed on the surface of the resin body by pressing the mold against the surface of the resin body in a heated state. (Step S221) and a step of irradiating the surface of the resin body with a plurality of recesses with ultraviolet rays (step S222) are included. The resin body to be pressed against the mold is, for example, a resin sheet formed by curing a silicone resin raw material. Hereinafter, the details of the exemplary manufacturing method of the
[発光体の準備の工程]
まず、発光素子および透光性の樹脂体を有する発光体を準備する(図8のステップS21)。ここでは、図10に例示するような、発光素子110Aの上面の上方に配置されたシート状の樹脂体140Uを含む発光体100Uを準備する。図10は、発光体100Uを発光体100Uの上面100Uaに垂直に切断したときの断面を模式的に示している。
[Process of preparation of illuminant]
First, a light emitting body having a light emitting element and a translucent resin body is prepared (step S21 in FIG. 8). Here, as illustrated in FIG. 10, a
The
図11は、発光体100Uの例示的な製造方法を説明するためのフローチャートである。発光体100Uの準備の工程は、例えば、上面を有する発光素子を準備する工程(ステップS211)と、発光素子の上面に未硬化の透光性樹脂材料を付与する工程(ステップS212)と、透光性樹脂材料を硬化させることにより、発光素子の上面の上方に樹脂体を配置する工程(ステップS213)とを含む。
FIG. 11 is a flowchart for explaining an exemplary manufacturing method of the
First, a
次に、図13に示すように、発光素子110Aの上面である上面111aにディスペンサ等によって透光性の第1樹脂材料130rを付与する(図11のステップS212)。第1樹脂材料130rは、シリコーン樹脂、シリコーン変性樹脂、エポキシ樹脂、フェノール樹脂、ポリカーボネート樹脂、アクリル樹脂、トリメチルペンテン樹脂もしくはポリノルボルネン樹脂、または、これらの2種以上を含む材料を母材として含む。
Next, as shown in FIG. 13, the translucent
Next, as schematically shown in FIG. 14, the
As the laminated sheet LB, for example, a fluorescent material sheet in which the resin in the resin material in which the fluorescent material particles are dispersed is in a B stage state and a translucent resin sheet are prepared and these are attached by heat. It can be prepared by obtaining a piece having a predetermined size by using an ultrasonic cutter or the like. The phosphor sheet can be formed from a resin material such as a phosphor and a silicone resin, and a second resin material containing filler particles and a solvent. As the phosphor, known phosphors such as the above-mentioned YAG-based phosphor, KSF-based phosphor, CASN and β-sialon phosphor can be used. The translucent resin sheet can be obtained, for example, by curing an uncured silicone resin raw material. The silicone resin raw material contains a silicone resin as a base material, and may additionally contain a light-reflecting filler or the like. The silicone resin as the base material typically contains an organic polysiloxane having at least one phenyl group in the molecule and / or an organic polysiloxane having a D unit. A laminated sheet LB can also be obtained by applying the above-mentioned second resin material on the main surface of the translucent sheet by a coating method such as a spray method, a casting method, or a potting method, and curing the second resin material. Alternatively, the laminated sheet LB may be prepared by purchase. Fluorescent sheets and / or translucent sheets may be prepared by purchase.
Typically, after the
Next, the
[透光性部材の形成の工程]
発光体100Uの準備後、加熱された状態の樹脂体の表面に型を押し付けることにより、樹脂体の表面、ここでは、樹脂体140Uの上面140aに複数の凹部を形成する(図9のステップS221)。樹脂体の表面への凹部形成の工程は、図2~図4を参照して説明した、樹脂体140Xの主面140aへの複数の凹部140qの形成の例と同様にして実行することができる。
[Step of forming a translucent member]
After the
For example, as schematically shown in FIG. 18, in the same manner as in the example shown in FIG. 2, the
By heating the
Next, the surface of the resin body in which a plurality of recesses are formed is irradiated with ultraviolet rays (step S222 in FIG. 9). This step can also be performed in the same manner as in the example of irradiation of the
According to the second embodiment of the present disclosure, a fine structure can be imparted to the surface of the translucent member covering the light emitting element to improve the light extraction efficiency. When a translucent member is arranged on the light emitting side of the
In the above example, after arranging the laminated sheet LB on the
さらに、上述の例では、導光部材130Aを取り囲み、かつ、素子本体111の下面111bのうち正極112Aおよび負極114Aを除く領域を覆う光反射性部材150Aを発光装置100Aに設けている。そのため、発光装置100Aの側面または下面からの光の漏れを抑制して、光の利用効率をより向上させ得る。
Further, in the above example, the
It should be noted that the
As described with reference to FIG. 7, here, the
なお、上述の支持体50に代えて、図20に例示するような、基板410Aと、基板410A上に設けられた第1導電部411Aおよび第2導電部412Aとを有する複合基板400Aを用いてもよい。図20は、複合基板400Aを上面400a側から見たときの外観の一例を示している。基板410Aは、図20に模式的に示すように、貫通孔414を有する。図20には表れていないが、第1導電部411Aの一部および第2導電部412Aの一部は、貫通孔414を介して上面400aとは反対側の下面まで延びている。
Instead of the
When the
研削等によって樹脂体140Uの上面140aを光反射性樹脂層150Tから露出させた後、図18および図19を参照して説明した例と同様にして上面140aに複数の凹部140dを形成する。その後、図20に太い破線CTで示す位置でダイシング装置等によって光反射性樹脂層150Tおよび複合基板400Aを一括して切断することにより、複数の発光装置100Bが得られる。
After the
FIG. 21 shows an example of the appearance of the
ここで、基板410B、第1導電部411Bおよび第2導電部412Bは、それぞれ、図20に示す基板410A、第1導電部411Aおよび第2導電部412Aの一部である。図21および図22に例示する構成において、発光装置100Bは、図のX軸方向に対してY軸方向に長い形状を有し、いわゆるサイドビュータイプの発光装置として用いられる。
Here, the
The
まず、図25に示すように、透光部172を有する第1の樹脂層170を準備する。樹脂層170は、2以上の透光部172を有し得る。図25に例示する構成において、樹脂層170は、光反射性樹脂部174を有し、各透光部172は、光反射性樹脂部174によって互いに分離されている。なお、この例では、各透光部172は、透光層140Lおよび波長変換層120Lを含む。樹脂層170は、例えば以下のようにして得ることができる。
First, as shown in FIG. 25, a
まず、光反射性の樹脂シートを準備する。光反射性の樹脂シートの材料としては、上述の第3樹脂材料を用いることができる。例えば、光反射性の樹脂シートは、シリコーン樹脂に二酸化チタンおよび酸化ケイ素の粒子が60重量%程度分散された樹脂シートであり得る。光反射性の樹脂シートの形成には、圧縮成形、トランスファー成形もしくは射出成形、または、印刷法もしくはスプレー法を適用した成形を用い得る。 First, a light-reflecting resin sheet is prepared. As the material of the light-reflecting resin sheet, the above-mentioned third resin material can be used. For example, the light-reflecting resin sheet may be a resin sheet in which particles of titanium dioxide and silicon oxide are dispersed in a silicone resin by about 60% by weight. For the formation of the light-reflecting resin sheet, compression molding, transfer molding or injection molding, or molding to which a printing method or a spray method is applied can be used.
Next, a through hole is provided in the resin sheet by punching or the like. The shape of the through hole in the top view is, for example, a rectangular shape. After forming the through hole, the inside of the through hole is filled with, for example, the above-mentioned second resin material containing a silicone resin as a base material by a potting method, a printing method, a spray method or the like. At this time, the particles of the phosphor are settled in the second resin material filled in the through hole to cure the second resin material, thereby forming a translucent portion having a difference in the concentration of the phosphor in the thickness direction. It is possible to do. For example, it is possible to form a translucent portion in which a large amount of phosphor particles are distributed on the lower surface side. Alternatively, a transparent resin material may be placed inside the through hole and cured, and then a second resin material may be applied onto the transparent resin material to fill the through hole with these materials.
蛍光体の粒子を沈降させ、第2樹脂材料の硬化後に上下を反転させれば、図25に示すような、光反射性樹脂部174および複数の透光部172を有する樹脂層170が得られる。図25に例示する構成において、透光層140Lは、透光部172中、蛍光体の粒子の濃度が相対的に低い層である。なお、図25では、波長変換層120Lと透光層140Lとの間に境界が存在するかのようにこれらの層を図示しているが、これらの層の間の境界を明確に認識できないこともある。
When the particles of the phosphor are settled and turned upside down after the second resin material is cured, a
Next, the translucent
次に、図27に示すように、樹脂層170上の構造を覆う第2の樹脂層としての光反射性樹脂層150Tを形成する。光反射性樹脂層の材料には、上述の光反射性の樹脂シートの材料、すなわち、樹脂層170の光反射性樹脂部174の材料と同様に上述の第3樹脂材料を用いることができる。光反射性樹脂層150Tの形成には、例えばトランスファー成形を適用できる。
Next, as shown in FIG. 27, a light-reflecting
Next, the
次に、樹脂体140Uから、発光素子110Aの上面を少なくとも覆う透光性部材140Aを形成する。透光性部材140Aの形成の工程は、図18および図19を参照して説明した例と同様にして実行することができる。
Next, a
例えば、まず、図18に示すように、支持体60上に発光体100Uを配置し、複数の凸部210を有する型200の凸部210を樹脂体140Uの上面140aに対向させる。さらに、図4に示す例と同様にして、加熱された状態の樹脂体140Uの上面140aに型200を押し付ける。樹脂体140Uの加熱および型200の押し付けにより、樹脂体140Uの上面140aに複数の凹部を形成することができる(図24のステップS241)。
For example, first, as shown in FIG. 18, a
Further, the surface of the resin body in which the plurality of recesses are formed is irradiated with ultraviolet rays (step S242 in FIG. 24). This step can also be performed in the same manner as in the example of irradiation of the
(Modified example of the second embodiment)
FIG. 29 shows another example of the light emitting device obtained by the method for manufacturing the light emitting device according to the second embodiment. The
The
First, a light emitting element is prepared (step S23 in FIG. 23). Further, a translucent member that at least covers the upper surface of the
First, a translucent resin sheet having a main surface (hereinafter, may be simply referred to as a “translucent sheet” for the sake of simplicity) is prepared. The translucent sheet can be obtained, for example, by curing an uncured silicone resin raw material. After preparing the translucent sheet, the mold is pressed against the main surface of the transmissive sheet in a heated state to form a plurality of recesses on the main surface of the translucent sheet (step S243 in FIG. 30). The
Next, the main surface of the translucent sheet in which the plurality of concave portions corresponding to the plurality of
For the formation of the
After that, the translucent sheet irradiated with ultraviolet rays is placed on the upper surface side of the light emitting element (step S245 in FIG. 30). Here, as schematically shown in FIG. 31, the
次に、積層シート170Vに例えば上述の第3樹脂材料を付与し、積層シート170V上の構造を第3樹脂材料によって覆い、第3樹脂材料を硬化させる。第3樹脂材料を硬化させることにより、図33に示すように、発光素子110Aおよび導光部材130Aを覆う光反射性樹脂層150Tを形成することができる。光反射性樹脂層150Tの形成には、例えばトランスファー成形を適用できる。
Next, for example, the above-mentioned third resin material is applied to the
Then, the
In the present embodiment, it is not essential that the
(第3の実施形態)
これまでの例では、透光性を有する、板状またはシート状の構造に対して型200を押し付け、さらに紫外線を照射することによって凹部140dを形成している。しかしながら、以下に説明するように、凹凸パターンを付与する対象が板状またはシート状の構造であることは、本開示の実施形態において必須ではない。
(Third embodiment)
In the examples so far, the
図35および図36は、第3の実施形態による発光装置の製造方法によって得られる発光装置の一例を示す。図35は、発光装置を上面側から見た例示的な外観を示し、図36は、図35のXXXVI-XXXVI断面を示す。 35 and 36 show an example of a light emitting device obtained by the method for manufacturing a light emitting device according to the third embodiment. FIG. 35 shows an exemplary appearance of the light emitting device as viewed from the top side, and FIG. 36 shows a cross section of XXXVI-XXXVI of FIG.
The
As shown in FIG. 36, a part of the
図35および図36に例示する構成において、発光素子110Bは、下面110bとは反対側の上面110aに正極112Bおよび負極114Bを有する。正極112Bおよび負極114Bには、Au、Al、Cu等の導電性ワイヤ372および371がそれぞれ接続される。この例では、導電性ワイヤ372によって正極112Bが導電性リード362に電気的に接続され、導電性ワイヤ371によって負極114Bが導電性リード361に電気的に接続されている。
In the configurations exemplified in FIGS. 35 and 36, the
The
Hereinafter, an exemplary manufacturing method of the
When preparing the light emitting body (step S21 in FIG. 8), first, the
図38に模式的に示すように、リードフレーム360Fは、第1導電部材である導電性リード361および第2導電部材である導電性リード362の複数の組と、互いに隣接する組の間に配置され、これらの組を互いに接続する複数の連結部363とを有する。導電性リード361および362は、例えば、Cuから形成された基材と、基材を被覆する金属層とを有し得る。基材を被覆する金属層は、Ag、Al、Ni、Pd、Rh、Au、Cu、または、これらの合金等を含む、例えばめっき層である。
As schematically shown in FIG. 38, the
導電性リード361の一部および導電性リード362の一部は、樹脂部350Fの凹部350eのそれぞれの底部において露出されている。凹部350e内において互いに対向する導電性リード361および362の組のそれぞれは、導電性リード361および362が互いに空間的に分離されることによって形成されたギャップGpを有する。ギャップGpは、樹脂部350Fを構成する材料によって埋められる。
A part of the
複合基板300Fは、リードフレーム360Fに樹脂部350Fをトランスファー成形等によって一体的に形成することによって得ることが可能である。例えば、金型のキャビティ内にリードフレーム360Fを配置し、キャビティの内部を第3樹脂材料で充填して第3樹脂材料を硬化させることにより、リードフレーム360Fを得ることができる。
The
次に、図39に示すように、各凹部350e内に発光素子110Bを配置し、導電性ワイヤ371および372によって正極112Bおよび負極114Bを導電性リード361、362に電気的に接続する。この例では、正極112Bおよび負極114Bを導電性リード362および361にそれぞれ接続しているが、正極112Bが導電性リード361に接続され、負極114Bが導電性リード362に接続されることもあり得る。
Next, as shown in FIG. 39, the
Further, each
以上の工程により、図39に示すように、各々が発光素子110Bおよび透光性の樹脂体340Zを有する複数の発光体100Yを単位とする繰り返し構造が得られる。ここでは、さらに、図18および図19を参照して説明した例と同様にして、樹脂体340Zの上面に凹凸パターンを形成する。
By the above steps, as shown in FIG. 39, a repeating structure having a plurality of light emitting
For example, as schematically shown in FIG. 40, the
Next, for example, the
Prior to the formation of the
Alternatively, the second resin material containing the silicone resin may be used as the silicone resin raw material, and each
Similar to the second embodiment described above, according to the third embodiment of the present disclosure, it is possible to impart a fine structure to the surface of the translucent resin body covering the light emitting element, and it is possible to impart a fine structure to the surface of the light. The effect of improving the extraction efficiency can be expected. According to the third embodiment, it is possible to form an uneven pattern on the surface of the translucent member that covers the light emitting element after the light emitting element is sealed with the resin. Further, also in the present embodiment, since the surface of the resin body is irradiated with ultraviolet rays after the shape is imparted to the surface of the translucent resin body, even if a process involving a high temperature such as reflow is executed, the resin body is transparent. The uneven shape of the surface of the optical member can be maintained.

以下の手順に従って実施例1のサンプルを作製し、実施例1のサンプルの表面の形状を紫外線の照射の前後で比較した。
(Example 1)
A sample of Example 1 was prepared according to the following procedure, and the shape of the surface of the sample of Example 1 was compared before and after irradiation with ultraviolet rays.
まず、フェニル基を分子中に有する有機ポリシロキサンを含有するシリコーン樹脂を硬化させることにより形成された透光シートを準備した。ここでは、透光シートとして、信越化学工業株式会社から販売されているシリコーン樹脂(型番:KE-1011)をスクリーン印刷法によってシート状に整形した後、150℃の温度下で4時間加熱することによりシリコーン樹脂を硬化させ、厚さ100μmの樹脂シートを得た。 First, a translucent sheet formed by curing a silicone resin containing an organic polysiloxane having a phenyl group in its molecule was prepared. Here, as a translucent sheet, a silicone resin (model number: KE-1011) sold by Shin-Etsu Chemical Co., Ltd. is shaped into a sheet by a screen printing method and then heated at a temperature of 150 ° C. for 4 hours. The silicone resin was cured by the above method to obtain a resin sheet having a thickness of 100 μm.
また、複数の凸部を表面に有する型を準備した。凸部の各々の形状は、正三角錐状であり、型の表面からの凸部の高さは、1.3μmであった。また、これらの凸部は、それぞれの頂部が三角格子の格子点上に位置するように型の表面に二次元に配置されており、互いに隣接する2つの凸部の間の頂部の間隔は、3.5μmであった。 In addition, a mold having a plurality of convex portions on the surface was prepared. The shape of each of the convex portions was a regular triangular pyramid, and the height of the convex portions from the surface of the mold was 1.3 μm. In addition, these convex portions are arranged two-dimensionally on the surface of the mold so that their respective tops are located on the grid points of the triangular lattice, and the distance between the tops between the two convex portions adjacent to each other is set. It was 3.5 μm.
Next, one main surface of the translucent sheet and the surface of the mold provided with a plurality of convex portions were opposed to each other, and the ambient temperature was raised to 150 ° C., and the temperature was 3 MPa using a heat press device. The mold was pressed against the main surface of the translucent sheet by pressure. After that, the mold was separated from the translucent sheet. On the main surface of the translucent sheet after the mold was separated, a plurality of concave portions were formed at positions corresponding to the convex portions of the mold. 44 and 45 are images obtained by a laser microscope showing the surface shape of the translucent sheet obtained after the mold separation. FIG. 45 shows a cross-sectional profile of the translucent sheet. The depth of the recess formed on the surface of the translucent sheet was in the range of about 1.1 to 1.5 μm.
次に、最も強いピークの波長が365nmの位置にある紫外線光源を有する紫外線照射装置を用い、複数の凹部が形成された透光シートの主面を紫外線で照射した。なお、照射された紫外線は、UVA~UVCの波長範囲にわたるスペクトルを有していた。このときの紫外線の照射量は、23J/cm2、照射時間は、50秒程度であった。 Next, the main surface of the translucent sheet in which a plurality of recesses were formed was irradiated with ultraviolet rays by using an ultraviolet irradiation device having an ultraviolet light source at a position where the wavelength of the strongest peak was 365 nm. The irradiated ultraviolet rays had a spectrum over the wavelength range of UVA to UVC. At this time, the irradiation amount of ultraviolet rays was 23 J / cm 2 , and the irradiation time was about 50 seconds.
図46および図47は、紫外線の照射後の透光シートの表面形状を示す。図45と同様に、図47は、透光シートの断面プロファイルを示している。紫外線照射後の透光シート表面の凹部の深さは、1.0~1.4μm程度の範囲であり、紫外線の照射の前後で凹部の深さに大きな変化は見られなかった。ただし、図45と図47との比較から、紫外線の照射によって、凹部と凹部との間に位置する領域がわずかに尖鋭化することがわかった。 46 and 47 show the surface shape of the translucent sheet after irradiation with ultraviolet rays. Similar to FIG. 45, FIG. 47 shows a cross-sectional profile of the translucent sheet. The depth of the recesses on the surface of the translucent sheet after the irradiation with ultraviolet rays was in the range of about 1.0 to 1.4 μm, and no significant change was observed in the depth of the recesses before and after the irradiation with ultraviolet rays. However, from the comparison between FIGS. 45 and 47, it was found that the region located between the recesses was slightly sharpened by the irradiation of ultraviolet rays.
(実施例2)
複数の凸部の形状および配置が異なる型を用いたこと以外は実施例1のサンプルと同様にして、実施例2のサンプルを作製した。実施例2のサンプルの作製に用いた型の凸部の各々の形状は、円錐状であり、凸部の高さは、1.5μmであった。また、これらの凸部は、それぞれの頂部が三角格子の格子点上に位置するように型の表面に二次元に配置されており、互いに隣接する2つの凸部の間の頂部の間隔は、3μmであった。
(Example 2)
A sample of Example 2 was prepared in the same manner as the sample of Example 1 except that molds having different shapes and arrangements of the plurality of convex portions were used. The shape of each of the convex portions of the mold used for preparing the sample of Example 2 was conical, and the height of the convex portions was 1.5 μm. In addition, these convex portions are arranged two-dimensionally on the surface of the mold so that their respective tops are located on the grid points of the triangular lattice, and the distance between the tops between the two convex portions adjacent to each other is set. It was 3 μm.
48 and 49 show the surface shape of the translucent sheet after irradiation with ultraviolet rays. Similar to FIGS. 45 and 47, FIG. 49 shows a cross-sectional profile of the translucent sheet. In the range shown in FIG. 49, the maximum depth of the recesses on the surface of the translucent sheet after ultraviolet irradiation was about 2.8 μm. As can be seen from FIG. 49, the recess and the region between the recesses have a rough surface including fine protrusions of about 0.5 μm. It is presumed that this is because the mold is pressed against the surface of the cured silicone resin translucent sheet and the convex portion of the mold is pulled out from the surface of the translucent sheet.
(実施例3、比較例1)
次に、サンプルに付与された形状への熱の影響を検証するために、以下の手順により、実施例3のサンプルおよび比較例1のサンプルを作製した。
(Example 3, Comparative Example 1)
Next, in order to verify the effect of heat on the shape applied to the sample, a sample of Example 3 and a sample of Comparative Example 1 were prepared by the following procedure.
まず、信越化学工業株式会社から販売されているシリコーン樹脂(型番:LPS-3541)をスクリーン印刷法によってシート状に整形した後、150℃の温度下で4時間加熱することにより、厚さ150μmの樹脂シートを作製した。ここで、LPS-3541は、上述のKE-1011と同様に、フェニル基を分子中に有する有機ポリシロキサンを含有する。 First, a silicone resin (model number: LPS-3541) sold by Shin-Etsu Chemical Co., Ltd. is shaped into a sheet by a screen printing method, and then heated at a temperature of 150 ° C. for 4 hours to a thickness of 150 μm. A resin sheet was produced. Here, LPS-3541 contains an organic polysiloxane having a phenyl group in the molecule, similarly to KE-1011 described above.
Next, a heat press device is prepared in which a mold having a plurality of convex portions on the surface is prepared, one main surface of the resin sheet and the convex portions of the mold are opposed to each other, and the ambient temperature is raised to 300 ° C. The mold was pressed against the main surface of the resin sheet at a pressure of 5 MPa. Then, the mold was separated from the resin sheet. Here, the same mold as in the preparation of the sample of Example 2 having a surface in which conical convex portions are arranged two-dimensionally was used. FIG. 50 shows the surface shape of the resin sheet after the mold is separated. The depth of the recess formed on the surface of the resin sheet was in the range of about 0.9 to 1.1 μm.
次に、樹脂シートを切断することにより、2枚のシートを得た。2枚のシートのうちの一方については、実施例1のサンプルの作製に用いた紫外線照射装置を用い、凹部が形成された表面を22.4J/cm2の照射量、30秒程度の照射時間で紫外線で照射した。他方のシートについては、型の押し付けによる凹部の形成後に紫外線照射装置による紫外線の照射を行わなかった。 Next, two sheets were obtained by cutting the resin sheets. For one of the two sheets, the ultraviolet irradiation device used for preparing the sample of Example 1 was used, and the surface on which the recess was formed was irradiated with an irradiation amount of 22.4 J / cm 2 and an irradiation time of about 30 seconds. Irradiated with ultraviolet rays. The other sheet was not irradiated with ultraviolet rays by an ultraviolet irradiation device after the formation of the recesses by pressing the mold.
2枚のシートを電気炉内に配置し、300℃の温度下に40分間おいた後に電気炉から取り出して室温まで自然冷却させた。これらのシートのうち、紫外線照射装置による紫外線の照射が行われたシートを実施例3のサンプルとし、紫外線照射装置による紫外線の照射が行われなかった他方のシートを比較例1のサンプルとした。 The two sheets were placed in an electric furnace, kept at a temperature of 300 ° C. for 40 minutes, then taken out of the electric furnace and naturally cooled to room temperature. Of these sheets, the sheet irradiated with ultraviolet rays by the ultraviolet irradiation device was used as the sample of Example 3, and the other sheet not irradiated with ultraviolet rays by the ultraviolet irradiation device was used as the sample of Comparative Example 1.
図51は、実施例3のサンプルの表面形状を示す。図50と図51との比較から、型の押し付けによる凹部の形成後に紫外線を照射することにより、300℃程度の加熱によっても凹部の形状を維持可能であることがわかった。なお、実施例3のサンプルの表面に形成された凹部の深さは、0.9~1.1μm程度の範囲であった。換言すれば、加熱の前後において、凹部の深さの変化は、おおよそ25%以下の範囲内であった。 FIG. 51 shows the surface shape of the sample of Example 3. From the comparison between FIGS. 50 and 51, it was found that the shape of the concave portion can be maintained even by heating at about 300 ° C. by irradiating ultraviolet rays after forming the concave portion by pressing the mold. The depth of the recess formed on the surface of the sample of Example 3 was in the range of about 0.9 to 1.1 μm. In other words, the change in the depth of the recess was within the range of about 25% or less before and after heating.
図52は、比較例1のサンプルの表面形状を示す。図52から、紫外線の照射を行わない場合には、加熱により、型の押し付けによって表面に形成された凹形状がほぼ失われることがわかった。なお、比較例1のサンプルの表面に残った凹部の深さは、0.03μm程度に過ぎなかった。 FIG. 52 shows the surface shape of the sample of Comparative Example 1. From FIG. 52, it was found that when the ultraviolet rays were not irradiated, the concave shape formed on the surface by pressing the mold was almost lost by heating. The depth of the recess remaining on the surface of the sample of Comparative Example 1 was only about 0.03 μm.
(Reference example 1)
As is clear from the comparison between FIGS. 51 and 52, the surface of the resin sheet in which the recesses are formed by pressing the mold is irradiated with ultraviolet rays at an irradiation amount of about 20 J / cm 2 or more to achieve a high temperature (for example, glass transition). It was found that it is possible to maintain the shape of the recesses even when exposed to temperatures above the point. It is presumed that this is due to some change in the surface irradiated with ultraviolet rays and its vicinity. Here, a sample of Reference Example 1 in which the resin sheet was partially irradiated with ultraviolet rays was prepared, and the spectrum between the portion irradiated with ultraviolet rays and the portion not irradiated with ultraviolet rays was measured by infrared spectroscopic analysis. Was compared. The sample of Reference Example 1 was prepared by irradiating a part of the surface of a translucent sheet having a thickness of 150 μm formed by pre-curing the above-mentioned silicone resin LPS-3541 with ultraviolet rays. Then, the silicone resin in the translucent sheet was finally cured.
図53~図55は、フーリエ変換型赤外分光光度計によって得られた、参考例1のサンプルに関する透過光の赤外スペクトルを示す。図53~図55中、曲線K1は、意図的に紫外線で照射されていない部分に関するスペクトルを示し、曲線K2は、意図的に紫外線で照射された部分に関するスペクトルを示している。ここでは、赤外スペクトルの取得に、サーモフィッシャーサイエンティフィック株式会社から販売されているNicolet
iS50モジュールを用いた。
53 to 55 show infrared spectra of transmitted light for the sample of Reference Example 1 obtained by a Fourier transform infrared spectrophotometer. In FIGS. 53 to 55, the curve K1 shows a spectrum related to a portion intentionally not irradiated with ultraviolet rays, and the curve K2 shows a spectrum related to a portion intentionally irradiated with ultraviolet rays. Here, Nicolet sold by Thermo Fisher Scientific Co., Ltd. for the acquisition of infrared spectrum.
The iS50 module was used.
図54を参照する。図54は、図53のスペクトルのうち、波数が4000~1300cm-1の範囲を拡大して示す。図54中には、波数が2000~1400cm-1の範囲をさらに拡大した図も示されている。図54に示すスペクトルにおいて、Si-OHに由来する吸収に関係する、波数が3700~3000cm-1の範囲に注目すると、紫外線の照射により、波数が3400cm-1付近に吸収のピークが出現し、3700~3000cm-1の範囲の吸収が増加していることがわかった。 See FIG. 54. FIG. 54 shows an enlarged range of the wave number of 4000 to 1300 cm -1 in the spectrum of FIG. 53. FIG. 54 also shows a further enlarged view of the wavenumber in the range of 2000-1400 cm -1 . In the spectrum shown in FIG. 54, focusing on the wave number in the range of 3700 to 3000 cm -1 , which is related to the absorption derived from Si—OH, the absorption peak appears in the vicinity of the wave number of 3400 cm -1 due to the irradiation of ultraviolet rays. It was found that the absorption in the range of 3700 to 3000 cm -1 was increased.
See also FIG. 55. FIG. 55 shows an enlarged range of the wave number of 1400 to 400 cm -1 in the spectrum of FIG. 53. From FIGS. 54 and 55, focusing on the absorption peaks with wave numbers near 2960 cm -1 and 800 cm -1 , which are related to the absorption derived from Si-CH 3 , the height of each peak becomes lower due to the irradiation of ultraviolet rays. I understood it. That is, the infrared absorption of the translucent member of the light emitting device according to the embodiment of the present disclosure basically has a wave number as compared with a silicone resin that is not intentionally irradiated with ultraviolet rays at an irradiation amount of 20 J / cm 2 or more. It is large in the range of 3700 cm -1 and more than 3000 cm -1 , and small in the wavenumbers of 2960 cm -1 and 800 cm -1 . From this, the irradiation of ultraviolet rays causes a change in the very shallow region of the surface of the translucent sheet irradiated with ultraviolet rays, and the hardness of the translucent sheet is partially improved, and as a result, the recesses due to high temperature are formed. The change in shape may have been suppressed.
次に、紫外線の照射量が互いに異なる複数のサンプルを作製し、紫外線の照射がサンプルの表面の瞬間接着力に与える影響を検証した。なお、本明細書では、「タック性」の用語を「瞬間接着力」の用語とを区別せずに使用し、これらを同じ意味で用いる。本明細書における「瞬間接着力」または「タック性」は、以下に説明するプローブ法による測定によって得られる値を意味する。 Next, a plurality of samples having different amounts of ultraviolet irradiation were prepared, and the effect of the irradiation of ultraviolet rays on the instantaneous adhesive force of the surface of the sample was verified. In this specification, the term "tackiness" is used without distinguishing it from the term "instantaneous adhesive force", and these are used interchangeably. As used herein, "instantaneous adhesive force" or "tackiness" means a value obtained by measurement by the probe method described below.
First, a resin block having a thickness of 3 mm is prepared, and a plurality of test pieces having a diameter of 16 mm are prepared by cutting from the same resin block. For these test pieces, a dual column desktop tester 5966 sold by Instron Japan Company Limited was used to bring the probe into contact with the surface of the resin block, and then move the probe at a constant speed to move the probe to the resin block. Measure the force required to detach the probe from the surface of the. In the measurement, a stainless steel probe having a flat tip and an area of the tip surface of 1800 mm 2 is used. The contact time of the probe with respect to the surface of the resin sheet and the tensile speed of the probe shall be 1 second and 9 mm / min, respectively. The average of the measured values for the three test pieces obtained by cutting from the same sheet is taken as the measured value of tackiness.
(Reference example 2)
Samples of Reference Example 2 and Reference Example 3 and Samples of Comparative Example 2 were prepared by the following procedure. Similar to the sample of Example 3 described above, the silicone resin LPS-3541 manufactured by Shin-Etsu Chemical Co., Ltd. is shaped into a sheet by a screen printing method and heated at a temperature of 150 ° C. for 4 hours to obtain a thickness. A 150 μm resin sheet was prepared. However, here, the shape was not given by pressing the mold, and a plurality of resin sheet pieces were obtained by cutting the resin sheet. Three resin sheet pieces were randomly extracted from these resin sheet pieces, and one main surface was exposed to ultraviolet rays at an irradiation amount of 240 J / cm 2 and an irradiation time of about 30 seconds in the same manner as in the sample of Example 3. Irradiated with. The resin sheet piece after irradiation with ultraviolet rays was placed in an electric furnace, kept at a temperature of 300 ° C. for 40 minutes, then taken out from the electric furnace and naturally cooled to room temperature to prepare a sample of Reference Example 2.
(参考例3)
紫外線の照射量を22.4J/cm2に変更したこと以外は参考例2のサンプルと同様にして、参考例3のサンプルを作製した。
(Reference example 3)
A sample of Reference Example 3 was prepared in the same manner as the sample of Reference Example 2 except that the irradiation amount of ultraviolet rays was changed to 22.4 J / cm 2 .
(比較例2)
紫外線の照射を実行しなかったことたこと以外は参考例2のサンプルと同様にして、比較例2のサンプルを作製した。
(Comparative Example 2)
A sample of Comparative Example 2 was prepared in the same manner as the sample of Reference Example 2 except that irradiation with ultraviolet rays was not performed.
図56は、参考例2、参考例3および比較例2の各サンプルの表面のタック性に関する測定結果を示す。図56中、最も右側のプロットは、参考例2のサンプルに関する測定値を示し、中央のプロットは、参考例3のサンプルに関する測定値を示す。図56中、最も左側のプロットは、比較例2のサンプルに関する測定値を示す。 FIG. 56 shows the measurement results regarding the tackiness of the surface of each sample of Reference Example 2, Reference Example 3 and Comparative Example 2. In FIG. 56, the rightmost plot shows the measured values for the sample of Reference Example 2, and the center plot shows the measured values for the sample of Reference Example 3. In FIG. 56, the leftmost plot shows the measured values for the sample of Comparative Example 2.
As shown in FIG. 56, the measured surface tackiness of the sample of Comparative Example 2 was in the range of approximately 23 to 32 Ncm- 2 . On the other hand, the sample of Reference Example 3 irradiated with ultraviolet rays at an irradiation amount of 22.4 J / cm 2 showed a tackiness value in the range of approximately 0.1 to 8 N · cm -2 , and was irradiated at 240 J / cm 2 . The sample of Reference Example 2 irradiated with ultraviolet rays in an amount showed a tackiness value in the range of 0.3 to 0.6 N · cm -2 . From this, it is possible that the intentional irradiation of ultraviolet rays caused some change in the surface and / or the vicinity of the surface of the resin sheet formed of the silicone resin. As a result, it is presumed that the tackiness of the resin surface was lowered by intentional irradiation with ultraviolet rays. From the results shown in FIG. 56, for example, by intentionally irradiating the surface of the resin body containing the silicone resin with ultraviolet rays at an irradiation amount of about 20 J / cm 2 or more, the instantaneous adhesive force of the surface of the resin body is intentionally increased. It has been found that the instantaneous adhesive strength of the surface of the silicone resin that has not been irradiated with ultraviolet rays can be reduced to, for example, 50% or less.
