Claims (4)
- 少なくとも膜電極接合体により構成された発電部と該発電部を挟持する一対のセパレータとを有する燃料電池セルが複数積層される燃料電池スタックであって、
互いに離れて配置される冷媒入口マニホールド及び冷媒出口マニホールドと、
前記発電部に対応する領域に設けられ、前記冷媒入口マニホールドと前記冷媒出口マニホールドとを連通する複数の発電部内冷媒流路と、
全体が前記発電部よりも重力方向上方の領域に位置するように設けられ、前記冷媒入口マニホールドと前記冷媒出口マニホールドとを連通する発電部外冷媒流路と、
を備え、
前記発電部内冷媒流路と前記発電部外冷媒流路とは、連通していることを特徴とする燃料電池スタック。 - 前記冷媒入口マニホールドと前記冷媒出口マニホールドとは、重力方向に直交する方向に配置されている請求項1に記載の燃料電池スタック。
- 前記セパレータには、前記発電部内冷媒流路を構成する凹部と、反応ガス流路を構成する凸部とが交互に複数配置され、
隣接する前記発電部内冷媒流路同士、前記発電部外冷媒流路と隣接する前記発電部内冷媒流路とは、前記凸部に設けられて該凸部よりも突出高さの低い絞り部によってそれぞれ連通している請求項1又は2に記載の燃料電池スタック。 - 重力方向において、前記発電部外冷媒流路の断面積は前記発電部内冷媒流路の断面積よりも大きい請求項1~3のいずれか一項に記載の燃料電池スタック。
