Description
The present invention relates to a laminated structure obtained by printing a laminated pattern on a substrate using a printing material, and a printing method for forming the laminated structure.
In printing, a large amount of images and characters have been duplicated by filling a printing plate with ink and transferring it to a medium such as paper. In conventional printing, the focus is on transferring the ink pattern formed on the printing plate to the medium with high accuracy, and many printing methods have been proposed.
However, with the diversification of devices in recent years, it has been proposed to form a device on a part that has not existed in the past (for example, a curved surface part that was simply a handle or a handle). As a manufacturing method for that purpose, there is a demand for forming a functional pattern such as a conductive layer by printing directly on a curved surface.
In response to such a requirement, for example, in the method of
However, in the conventional method using a printing plate, when printing on a curved substrate, since the plate is formed on a flat surface, printing defects in which ink cannot be transferred and the transferred printing pattern are also deformed or cut off. There was a problem.
For example, in the method of
Therefore, in view of the above problems, it is an object of the present invention to provide a laminated structure and a printing method that enable printing on an uneven surface or a curved substrate and do not cause deformation of a printing pattern or printing defects during printing transfer. do.

It is possible to provide a printed laminated structure that does not occur.
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. However, the laminated structure and the printing method of the present invention are not limited to these embodiments. In other cases as well, the present invention shall be included as long as it has the technical features described in the present specification.
First, a method of patterning an uneven surface using a conventional printing technique will be described with reference to FIG.
In FIG. 8, a

On the other hand, the printing method of the present invention is as follows.
(Material liquid)
First, the printing material liquid for forming the printing pattern in the present invention and the mist formation of the material liquid will be described below.
The material used in the present invention is a solute or dispersion material having a desired function, and examples thereof include a metal filler and a conductive polymer if it is desired to give conductivity to a printed pattern. On the other hand, it may be an insulating material, a semiconductor material, or the like, and can be appropriately selected according to the function of the pattern to be possessed.
The material liquid is a liquid in which the material is dissolved or dispersed, and is composed of the material and a solvent. A dispersion auxiliary material such as a surfactant may be appropriately added to the material liquid as needed.
In the following description, when two or more kinds of materials are used, they are described as material A and material B to distinguish them, but A and B do not indicate a specific material and are in line with a desired purpose. It is selected as appropriate.
In the present invention, as a printing method, a so-called mist coating technique is used in which an ink material is atomized into fine droplets (mist droplets) and applied onto a substrate. (See, for example, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 3-159752)
The mist droplet is a state in which the material liquid is physically made into minute droplets, and can be made into a mist having a desired droplet diameter by an existing method such as an ultrasonic method, a spraying method, or an electrospray method. Specific embodiments of mist formation will be described later.
However, the present invention is not limited to the above-mentioned method of forming mist droplets, and a mist-forming method other than the above may be adopted.
First, an example of the embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIG.
In FIG. 1, first, the material liquid is made into mist droplets and adhered to an arbitrary place on the
The pattern of the first layer is formed in this way, but the
Although not shown here, the pattern stacking can be repeated in the same manner, and by laminating the third and subsequent layers as needed, a mist pattern laminated
With such a print medium configuration, since the mist is adhered from the mist droplets to the uneven surface of the lower layer to form a pattern, the pattern is not distorted even when laminated on the uneven surface or the curved surface.
In this example, two kinds of material composition of material A and material B of the layer structure of each layer are illustrated, but a laminated structure consisting of three or more kinds of materials may be used, or the number of constituent materials may be changed for each layer. ..
Next, an example in which a printing medium on a
Next, as shown in FIG. 2A, the material liquid in which the material A is dispersed is made into mist droplets, and the mist droplets are charged so as to be used in the electrophotographic mist developing method, and an electrostatic latent image is formed. By transporting it to the surface of the formed
Instead of transferring the printing pattern of the plate of the material from the transfer blanket to the printing medium as in the prior art, the pattern is formed directly on the surface of the
Further, by performing this step using the material B, the material B pattern (first layer) 205 is formed. Further, by repeatedly forming the second layer of the material A and the material B in the same manner, the material A pattern (second layer) 207 and the material B pattern (second layer) 208 are formed, and the surface of the
Next, the laminated body structure of the material B pattern that protects the material A pattern will be described with reference to FIG.
With the material A as the main material of the pattern, the material B becomes a mist medium structure in a role of protecting the pattern of the material A. For example, there is a case where the material A is a conductive material and the material B is an insulating material.
In FIG. 3, a material A pattern (first layer) 304 is formed as the
In this case, there is no boundary between the
As a method of printing so as to cover the material B with respect to the pattern of the material A as shown in FIG. 3, it is sufficient to add physical properties that attract the materials A and B. For example, if the mist droplet A is positively charged and the material B is negatively charged, the mist of the material B is simply transported to the vicinity of the material A and is adsorbed to the material A pattern by Coulomb force. It is possible to form a B pattern.
As a method of charging the mist material, if it is a method of charging at the time of mist generation such as an electrospray method, the polarities of the applied voltages in the material A and the material B may be changed. In the case of the ultrasonic mist method or the mist blowing method, it is possible to install a mesh electrode or the like in contact with the mist in the mist transport path and charge the mist when passing through the mist to form a charged mist.
Further, if the material constituting the mist is a magnetic material for the material A and a magnetic adsorption material such as iron for the material B, it is possible to form the material B pattern by the attractive force of the magnetic force without being charged.
In addition, a method of forming a pattern by charging mist droplets to form a charged mist and developing an electrostatic latent image on the substrate, or creating a thermal latent image with a temperature difference on the substrate to generate a mist liquid. It is also possible to form a material B pattern, that is, a laminated pattern, by using a technique of forming a pattern by developing with drops. However, the present invention is not limited to the method for forming the material B pattern.
By such a method, each layer is sequentially laminated without being conscious of the reference plane, so that a large amount of material can be saved without using a material in an extra region.
Next, with reference to FIG. 4, a laminated structure in which the materials are in contact with each other between layers will be described.
In FIG. 4, a
In the material
That is, only by forming a through
FIG. 4 is a diagram when the materials A are in contact with each other in the upper and lower layers, but as a pattern, the same materials are used even when the materials B are in contact with each other or in a configuration consisting of layers of a third component or more other than A and B. May be connected by the same contact method. In this case, it is not limited by the material type and the number of constituents of each layer.
As a method of processing the through
Next, with reference to FIG. 5, a laminated structure in which the upper and lower layers of the laminated structure are conductive materials will be described.
In FIG. 5, a
Further, if a conductive material is used for the printing medium of the base material on the lower surface, it is not necessary to newly form the conductive material on the lower surface. With this structure, in the case of a medium such as a solar cell, a secondary battery, a capacitor, etc., which has a sandwich structure and an effect is produced by applying a voltage or passing a current, the upper and lower layers are made of a conductive material, so that a new electrode is provided. The medium can be configured without installation, and the process of configuring the electrodes can be eliminated. However, the present invention is not limited to the forming materials and forming methods listed here in the forming method of the material and the vertically conductive material.
(Method of forming a laminated body by electrostatic latent image)
Next, a method of forming a laminated structure from an electrostatic latent image will be described with reference to FIG.
6A to 6A are flowcharts showing the steps of the laminated body forming method, and FIGS. 6-2 (a) to 6-2 (d) show the state of each step of the laminated body forming method. It is sectional drawing which shows.
Hereinafter, the process will be described.
First, as shown in FIGS. 6-1 (a) and 6-2 (a), the charged mist a601 containing the charged material A is transferred to the
Next, as shown in FIGS. 6-1 (a) and 6-2 (b), the mist selectively adheres to the pattern portion due to the electric attraction between the charged mist a601 and the electrostatic
Next, as shown in FIG. 6-1 (c), the electrostatic latent image b for the material B is formed on the
Further, as shown in FIGS. 6-1 (d) and 6-2 (c), the electrostatic latent image is mist-developed (material B) with the charged mist B602.
Then, as shown in FIGS. 6-1 (e) and 6-2 (d), the laminated structure is formed by forming the pattern B608 on the pattern A607 by drying or firing.
As a method for charging the mist, for example, in the electrospray method, a charged mist is premised as the method, and the mist has an electric charge when the mist droplets are ejected from the nozzle by the electric field applied between the nozzle and the substrate. Further, in the ultrasonic mist generation method, a corona charger may be placed in the transport path to charge the battery, or an electrode for charging may be placed and charged when the corona charger is placed and contacted.
Further, in order to form an electrostatic latent image, the electrostatic latent
When an external stimulus according to a desired pattern is applied to the electrostatic latent
Hereinafter, similarly, the second and subsequent layers are laminated and stacked up to a desired number of layers to form a laminated structure.
(Method of forming a laminated body by thermal latent image)
Next, a method for forming a laminated structure from a thermal latent image will be described with reference to FIG. 7.
In FIG. 7, FIGS. 7-1 (a) to (e) are flowcharts showing the steps of the laminate forming method, and FIGS. 7-2 (a) to (d) show the state of each step of the laminate forming method. It is sectional drawing which shows.
Hereinafter, description will be made with reference to the figures.

Next, as shown in FIGS. 7-1 (c) and 7-2 (c), the generated mist-forming
In this way, as shown in FIGS. 7-1 (d) and 7-2 (d), the thermal latent image 703 can be developed with the mist material, and the
Further, as shown in FIGS. 7-1 (e) and 7-2 (e), the developed pattern is dried and fired to fix the pattern of the
The method of forming the laminated body by the electrostatic latent image and the thermal latent image has been described above. Although the substrate is shown as a flat substrate in FIGS. 6 and 7, it is possible to perform pattern printing in the same manner even if the substrate has irregularities or a curved surface.
As described above, according to the present invention, there is provided a printed laminate structure in which a desired print pattern is sequentially laminated on a substrate having an uneven surface or a curved surface, and a method for forming the printed laminate structure.
