Description
The present invention relates to a battery pack in which a battery module configured by stacking a plurality of battery cells is housed in an inner space of an exterior body.
Hybrid cars and electric vehicles are equipped with a battery module configured by stacking a plurality of battery cells such as a lithium ion secondary battery. Conventionally, as such a battery module, a module that detects and monitors the voltage of the battery cell by a voltage detecting unit for controlling the battery cell is known (see, for example, Patent Document 1).
When the battery module is mounted on a vehicle or the like, it is conceivable to house the battery module in an exterior body and pack it in order to protect the battery cell. At this time, in the case of the one provided with the voltage detection unit, it is required to efficiently house the battery module together with the voltage detection unit in the exterior body.
Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide a battery pack capable of efficiently accommodating a battery module together with a voltage detection unit in an exterior body and packing the battery module.
(1) The battery pack according to the present invention has a battery module (for example, a
According to the battery pack described in (1) above, since the voltage detection unit arranged on the side surface of the battery module can be accommodated in the recess provided on the inner surface of the side wall portion of the exterior body, the battery module can be accommodated in the voltage detection unit. At the same time, it can be efficiently housed in the exterior body, and the battery pack can be miniaturized.
(2) In the battery pack according to (1), a separator (for example, a
According to the battery pack described in (2) above, since the wiring member is arranged in the notch portion of the separator, it is possible to suppress the amount of protrusion of the wiring member to the outside of the battery module.
(3) In the battery pack according to (1) or (2), one end surface of the exterior body (for example, the
According to the battery pack described in (3) above, since the temperature control medium passage and the recess can be arranged by utilizing each other's dead space, the dimension in the width direction of the battery pack can be reduced, and the battery pack can be arranged. Can be further miniaturized.
(4) In the battery pack according to (3), it is preferable that the temperature control medium passage is arranged at a position closer to the electrode terminal of the battery cell than the recess in the height direction of the side wall portion. ..
According to the battery pack described in (4) above, since the temperature control medium passage is arranged at the portion of the battery cell closest to the electrode terminal requiring the temperature control, efficient temperature control is possible.
(5) In the battery pack according to (3) or (4), a position corresponding to the temperature control medium passage on the inner surface of the side wall portion and a position corresponding to the temperature control medium passage on the side surface of the battery module. It is preferable that a heat transfer sheet (for example, a
According to the battery pack described in (5) above, the heat of the temperature control medium in the temperature control medium passage can be transferred to the battery cell without being affected by the arrangement of the voltage detection unit, and the temperature of the battery cell can be controlled. Can be done efficiently.
(6) In the battery pack according to any one of (1) to (5), it is preferable that the recess is open to at least one end face of the exterior body along the stacking direction of the battery cells.
According to the battery pack described in (6) above, the battery module can be inserted while sliding into the inner space from the side of the end face where the recess in the outer body is open, so that the battery can be inserted into the outer body. Module containment work is extremely easy.
(7) In the battery pack according to (6), the recesses open on both end faces of the exterior body along the stacking direction of the battery cells, and the exterior body is extruded in the stacking direction of the battery cells. It is preferably composed of an extruded product along the line.
According to the battery pack described in (7) above, the exterior body can be easily manufactured, and the cost can be reduced.
According to the present invention, it is possible to provide a battery pack capable of efficiently accommodating a battery module together with a voltage detection unit in an exterior body.
Hereinafter, an example of the embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings.

FIG. 2 is a perspective view showing a state in which the battery pack according to the present invention is disassembled. The battery pack BP shown in the present embodiment includes a
As shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, the
The
The
The
The
The
The
At both ends of each of the
The
The
The
One end of each
Here, the details of the
The
The
The
The electrical connection structure between the
Each
Each
As shown in FIGS. 2 and 3,
The
The
As shown in FIG. 6, the width W1 of the
The
The

The positions of the temperature control
The
The
The battery pack according to the present invention is not limited to the embodiments described above, and various modifications can be made within the scope of the present invention. For example, in order to prevent the
