Description
コイル状に導体が巻回してある巻線部と、
前記巻線部の周囲を囲み、磁性粉体と樹脂とを含むコア部と、を有するインダクタ素子であって、
巻軸中心から垂直な外側方向に前記巻線部が存在し前記巻軸中心から前記垂直な外側方向に向けて所定範囲内の距離である前記コア部の領域を中芯中央領域とし、
巻軸中心から垂直な外側方向に前記巻線部が存在せず前記巻軸中心から前記垂直な外側方向に向けて所定範囲内の距離である前記コア部の領域を天板中央領域とし、
前記巻軸中心を通過し前記巻軸中心と平行な任意の断面において、前記中芯中央領域全体に占める前記磁性粉体の面積割合をSα(%)、前記天板中央領域全体に占める前記磁性粉体の面積割合をSβ(%)とする場合に、
Sα-Sβ≧-2%である。
図1は後述する巻線部4の巻軸中心4αを通過し、巻軸中心4αと平行な断面である。図1に示すように、本発明の一実施形態におけるインダクタ素子2は、巻線部4と、コア部6と、を有する。巻線部4では、導体5がコイル状に巻回してある。コア部6は、巻線部4の内周側に位置する内周部(中芯部とも言う)6aと、巻線部4の外周側に位置する外周部6bと、を有する。巻線部4を構成する導体5とコア部6の隙間部6cには、コア部6を構成する磁性体粉および樹脂が入り込んでいる。
実施例1~3では、図2および図3に示す形状の予備成形体を予備圧縮成形にて作製し、その後、本圧縮を行い図1に示す形状のインダクタ素子を得た。
比較例1~3では、実施例1~3と同様に顆粒を作製したのちに、本圧縮用の金型のキャビティにインサート部材を配置し、顆粒を充填させ、予備圧縮成形なしで本圧縮を行った。予備圧縮成形なしで本圧縮を行った点以外は実施例1~3と同様にしてインダクタ素子を作製した。すなわち、比較例1~3は全て同条件で実施した結果であり、試験結果にばらつきがある。結果を表1に示す。さらに、比較例3の中芯中央領域のSEM画像を図12に示す。
磁性粉末として不定形状のFe-Si-Cr合金(平均粒径25μm)を用意した点以外は実施例1~3と同条件で実施例4~6を、比較例1~3と同条件で比較例4~6を、それぞれ作成した。結果を表2に示す。

Claims (2)
- コイル状に導体が巻回してある巻線部と、
前記巻線部の周囲を囲み、磁性粉体と樹脂とを含むコア部と、を有するインダクタ素子であって、
巻軸中心から垂直な外側方向に前記巻線部が存在し前記巻軸中心から前記垂直な外側方向に向けて所定範囲内の距離である前記コア部の領域を中芯中央領域とし、
巻軸中心から垂直な外側方向に前記巻線部が存在せず前記巻軸中心から前記垂直な外側方向に向けて所定範囲内の距離である前記コア部の領域を天板中央領域とし、
前記巻軸中心を通過し前記巻軸中心と平行な任意の断面において、前記中芯中央領域全体に占める前記磁性粉体の面積割合をSα(%)、前記天板中央領域全体に占める前記磁性粉体の面積割合をSβ(%)とする場合に、
Sα-Sβ≧0%であり、
前記中芯中央領域と前記天板中央領域との間における前記磁性体の面積割合の変化が、連続的で、前記中芯中央領域と前記天板中央領域との間で、前記磁性粉体の密度の高い領域と前記磁性粉体の密度の低い領域との境界が形成されていないインダクタ素子。 - Sα≧65%である請求項1に記載のインダクタ素子。
