次に、コラーゲン発酵液の効果検証結果を示す。
検証にあたっては、モニター官能評価によるものとした。
具体的には、従業員から選抜した健常な皮膚を有する男女各3名のモニターを選出し、実施例2の化粧水処方構成をベースとするコラーゲン発酵液の配合量が5重量パーセントと80重量パーセントのものの2種のサンプルを複数回使用させ、化粧料、特にスキンケア化粧料において訴求されコラーゲンの大量配合が求められる「保湿感」と大量配合によって低下する「使用感」について評価した。
このとき、「保湿感」は、使用前を含めて「肌のうるおい」「肌のなめらかさ」「肌のやわらかさ」を評価し、「使用感」は、「べたつき」「におい」について評価した。
評価は、「肌のうるおい」「肌のなめらかさ」「肌のやわらかさ」については「1.感じない、2.あまり感じない、3.どちらともいえない、4.やや感じる、5.感じる」の5段階評価、「べたつき」「におい」については「1.気にならない 2.あまり気にならない 3.どちらともいえない 4.やや気になる 5.気になる」の5段階で評価し、その平均値を採用した。
