Description
本出願は2017年3月31日に出願された米国特許仮出願第62/479,948号の利益を主張するとともに、参照によりその全体を本明細書に援用する。本願は、2011年8月4日に出願された米国特許仮出願第61/514,952号の利益を主張する、米国特許第9,266,784号に関連し、参照によりこれら両方の全体を本明細書に援用する。

試験1:カラム溶解
MOP微粉は、ホウ砂およびコールマン石由来の様々なホウ素比率で圧縮されて、肥料顆粒の約0.5wt%の総ホウ素量を与える。ホウ砂として供給されるホウ素の、コールマン石に対する様々な比率は、1:0(すなわちコールマン石が無し)、1:1、1:3、0:1(すなわちホウ砂が無し)であった。顆粒由来のホウ素の溶解について、カラムかん流技術を使って72時間にわたって測定した。図1を参照すると、カラムかん流技術では、かん流セルアセンブリ100を使用する。かん流セルアセンブリ100の垂直カラムセル106内において、既知の重量の肥料102が土壌104内に埋め込まれる。浸透溶液Sは、グラスウールの障壁108と、それに続く肥料試料102と酸で洗浄された砂104aの一部とを取り囲む土壌104とを通して、底部から頂部へとくみ上げられる。上端103はフィルター紙110を備え、集められた浸出液112によって土壌が除去されないようになっている。
キャノーラ植物と、MOP肥料のコントロール(ホウ素なし)と、試験1で使用したものと同様の4つの肥料配合を使ってポット試験を行った。この肥料配合は、0.5%のホウ素を含むMOPからなり、ホウ素について速放性(ホウ砂)と徐放性(コールマン石)との比率が異なる(表2)。土壌は、ポットあたりマウントコンパスの砂壌土1kgからなり、その化学分析については下の表3に説明する。ホウ素源は、1ヘクタールあたり1.5kgのホウ素に相当する比率で加えられ、これは1kgのポットあたり0.9mgのホウ素と、86.6mgのK(カリウム)とに相当する。各肥料施用につき5つの反復測定を行った。
Claims (22)
- 圧縮された塩化カリウム組成物から形成された顆粒を含む粒状肥料の組成物であって、
K 2 Oを48.0重量パーセント~62.0重量パーセント含有する塩化カリウムを含み、
第1溶解度を有する第1ホウ素源を含み、第1ホウ素源はナトリウムベースのホウ素源またはホウ酸を含み、
第1溶解度よりも低い第2溶解度を有する第2ホウ素源を含み、第2ホウ素源はカルシウムベースのホウ素源を含み、
第1ホウ素源が、第2ホウ素源よりも速い速度で顆粒から放出されるようになっていることを特徴とする組成物。 - 請求項1に記載の粒状肥料の組成物であって、第1ホウ素源がテトラホウ酸ナトリウムを含むことを特徴とする組成物。
- 請求項1に記載の粒状肥料の組成物であって、第2ホウ素源がカルシウムベースのホウ素源であるコールマン石を含むことを特徴とする組成物。
- 請求項3に記載の粒状肥料の組成物であって、第2ホウ素源がさらにリン酸ホウ素を含むことを特徴とする組成物。
- 請求項1に記載の粒状肥料の組成物であって、第1及び第2ホウ素源が、総量で0.001重量パーセント(wt%)から1.0wt%のホウ素を供給する量で粒状肥料に存在することを特徴とする組成物。
- 請求項5に記載の粒状肥料の組成物であって、第1及び第2ホウ素源が、総量で0.1wt%から0.7wt%のホウ素となる量で存在することを特徴とする組成物。
- 請求項6に記載の粒状肥料の組成物であって、第1及び第2ホウ素源が、総量で0.3wt%から0.6wt%のホウ素となる量で存在することを特徴とする組成物。
- 請求項1に記載の粒状肥料の組成物であって、第2ホウ素源に対する第1ホウ素源の比率が5:1、4:1、3:1、2:1、1:1、1:2、1:3、1:4または1:5から選択されることを特徴とする組成物。
- 複数のホウ素源を含む粒状肥料製品を形成する方法であって、
K 2 Oを48.0重量パーセント~62.0重量パーセント含有する塩化カリウムを含む主要養分源を含有する肥料組成物を供給するステップと、
第1溶解度を有する第1ホウ素源と、第1ホウ素源よりも低い第2溶解度を有する第2ホウ素源とを供給するステップと、
肥料組成物を圧縮するステップと、
圧縮した肥料組成物を肥料顆粒に粉砕するステップとを備え、
第1ホウ素源がナトリウムベースのホウ素源またはホウ酸を含み、第2ホウ素源がカルシウムベースのホウ素源を含み、
第1ホウ素源が、第2ホウ素源よりも速い速度で肥料顆粒から放出されるようになっていることを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項9に記載の方法であって、第1ホウ素源がテトラホウ酸ナトリウムを含むことを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項9に記載の方法であって、第2ホウ素源がコールマン石を含むことを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項11に記載の方法であって、第2ホウ素源がさらにリン酸ホウ素を含むことを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項9に記載の方法であって、第1及び第2ホウ素源が、粒状肥料において総量で0.001重量パーセント(wt%)から1.0wt%のホウ素を供給する量で存在することを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項13に記載の方法であって、第1及び第2ホウ素源が、総量で0.1wt%から0.7wt%のホウ素となる量で存在することを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項14に記載の方法であって、第1及び第2ホウ素源が、総量で0.3wt%から0.6wt%のホウ素となる量で存在することを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項9に記載の方法であって、第2ホウ素源に対する第1ホウ素源の比率が5:1、4:1、3:1、2:1、1:1、1:2、1:3、1:4または1:5から選択されることを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項9に記載の方法であって、凝集されたMOP製品の顆粒を、大きさによって分類するステップをさらに備えることを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項9に記載の方法であって、
ホウ素以外の微量栄養素を供給するステップをさらに備え、少なくとも1種類の微量栄養素が、亜鉛(Zn)、マンガン(Mn)、モリブデン(Mo)、ニッケル(Ni)、銅(Cu)、元素形態の硫黄(S)、酸化硫酸塩の形態の硫黄(SO4)及びそれらの組み合わせからなるグループから選択されることを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項9に記載の方法であって、各ホウ素源を主要養分源へ添加して圧縮する前に、各ホウ素源が一緒に混ぜ合わされることを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項9に記載の方法であって、第1及び第2ホウ素源が、圧縮の前に主要養分源に別々に加えられることを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項9に記載の方法であって、圧縮の前に結合剤を添加するステップをさらに備えることを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項21に記載の方法であって、結合剤が、ヘキサメタリン酸ナトリウム(SHMP)、ピロリン酸四ナトリウム(TSPP)、ピロリン酸四カリウム(TKPP)、トリポリリン酸ナトリウム(STPP)、リン酸二アンモニウム(DAP)、リン酸一アンモニウム(MAP)、粒状リン酸一アンモニウム(GMAP)、ケイ酸カリウム、ケイ酸ナトリウム、でんぷん、デキストラン、リグノスルホン酸塩、ベントナイト、モンモリロナイト、カオリンまたはそれらを組み合わせたものからなるグループから選択されることを特徴とする方法。
