Description
The present invention relates to a resistance welding apparatus.
By the way, the electrodes of the resistance welding apparatus are often made of copper, which has good electrical conductivity and is inexpensive, but the copper electrodes are easily worn. Further, in the conventional resistance welding apparatus, the electrode also holds the work. Therefore, if the shape of the work holding surface of at least one of the electrodes changes, the work may not be held properly. If the work cannot be held properly, the quality of welding will be affected.
The present invention has been made in view of the above-mentioned conventional circumstances, and it is an object to be solved to provide a resistance welding apparatus capable of stabilizing welding quality.
The resistance welding apparatus of the present invention is an apparatus in which a first member and a second member are brought into contact with each other, pressurized in a direction approaching each other, and a current is passed through the welding apparatus. The resistance welding device includes a first electrode, a second electrode, and a first holding member. The first electrode abuts on the first member while being urged. The second electrode is arranged to face the first electrode and abuts on the second member. The first holding member has a first holding surface for holding the first member, and the first holding surface presses the first member in the direction of the second member. Further, the first holding member has electrical insulation with respect to the first electrode. Then, in the first holding member, the first electrode is slidably inserted into the insertion hole opened on the first holding surface side.
As described above, the resistance welding apparatus of the present invention includes a first holding member which is a member for holding, in addition to the electrode which is a member for energizing. Since the first holding member and the first electrode are separate members, they can be formed of different materials. Therefore, the material used for the first holding member can be selected from a viewpoint different from the current conductivity, for example, from the viewpoint of wear resistance and the like. As a result, it is possible to improve the durability while realizing stable work holding as compared with the case of holding with a copper electrode as in the conventional case.
Therefore, the resistance welding apparatus of the present invention can stabilize the welding quality.
In the resistance welding apparatus of the present invention, the first member, Ru Tei has a first arcuate portion formed in an arc-shaped cross section. The first holding surface, Ru Tei is formed in V-shaped cross section for holding the outer peripheral surface of the first arcuate portion. Thus, the first member having an arcuate surface can be suitably held at the first holding surface. Further, different types of first members having arcuate surfaces having different curvatures can be held by a common first holding member. As a result, the number of jigs can be reduced.
In the resistance welding apparatus of the present invention, insertion holes may be formed on both sides of the first holding surface with the first holding surface interposed therebetween. Then, the first electrode can be inserted into each of the insertion holes on both sides of the first holding surface. In this case, regardless of the size of the first holding surface, the contact area of the first electrode with the first member can be further increased while maintaining stable holding of the work. Further, the current can be dispersed and flowed from both sides of the first holding surface, and the concentration of the current density can be alleviated.
Resistance welding apparatus of the present invention, together arranged to face the first holding member, Ru Tei includes a second holding member having a second holding surface for holding the second member. The second member has a second arcuate portion formed in an arc-shaped cross section, the second holding surface, Ru Tei is formed in V-shaped cross section for holding the outer peripheral surface of the second arcuate portion. The angle and the angle of the interior angle of the second holding surface of the interior angle of the first holding surface Ru different Ttei. Therefore, for a combination of different types of first and second members having an arcuate surface having different curvatures it can be suitably held in a pair of first holding member and the second holding member. As described above, since one set of the first holding member and the second holding member can correspond to a plurality of different combinations of the first member and the second member, it is possible to reduce the jig replacement frequency.
Further, in the resistance welding apparatus of the present invention, a plurality of protrusions provided at intervals in the circumferential direction may be formed on the inner peripheral surface of the first arcuate portion. Then, the first holding surface can hold the outer peripheral surface of the first arcuate portion outside the plurality of protrusions in the circumferential direction.
In the resistance welding apparatus of the present invention, the driving means for driving the first holding portion in the pressing direction by the first holding surface and the first electrode are urged in the direction of projecting from the insertion hole formed in the first holding member. It may be provided with an urging means for contacting the first member. In this case, even if the contact surface of the first electrode with the first member is worn, the first electrode is urged separately from the first holding member, and the first electrode is surely brought into contact with the first member. One member can be suitably pressurized. As a result, stable energization can be realized.

In the
As shown in FIGS. 1 to 3, the
The first holding
The second holding
Further, the
As shown in FIG. 2, the
The
The urging
As shown in FIG. 3, the
The
The urging
The
At this time, the
Next, as shown in FIG. 5, an urging force is applied to the
Then, the
The energized
As described above, the
As described above, the
Therefore, the
Further, in the

Further, the
Further, the
Further, in the

Next, the second embodiment will be described with reference to FIG. 8 and the like.
The
As shown in FIG. 8, the first holding
The resistance welding device having such a configuration has the same effect as that of the
