*高ピーク電流/電力 LFPバッテリーは、最も一般的なリチウムイオンバッテリーより高いピーク電流を支持することができる。これはヒーターがユーザーの吸入の検知に応答して気化のための正しい作動温度により素早くパワーアップさせ、よって電子タバコをよりユーザー応答性にすることができるので電子タバコにとっては魅力的である。
*バッテリーが使用されてないときの容量損失(自己放電)の速度を遅くする これは製品が既に充電されている状態で提供される場合(多くの電子タバコをユーザーが購入後直ぐに使えるようにする場合)、保存(カレンダー)寿命を改善する。
*例えば最大で2000回以上の多くの回数の充電サイクルが可能になる。これは充電を毎日(以下、参照)行ったとしても数年間使用できるようにする。
Claims (17)
- 電子蒸気供給装置用のコントロールユニットであって、当該コントロールユニットは、蒸気を製するために使用されるヒーターに電力を供給するためのバッテリーを含み、このバッテリーはリン酸鉄リチウム正極を有するリン酸鉄リチウムバッテリーであり、かつ250〜600ミリアンペア時の範囲の定格容量を有し、前記電子蒸気供給装置を用いて少なくとも100回のパフを行うために、前記コントロールユニットは、各パフがバッテリーから少なくとも2.5アンペアの電流を引き込むとき、前記バッテリーに、カットオフレベルまで放電された状態を100%放電とした場合の85%放電された際のバッテリーの負荷の下で測定された出力電圧が、完全に充電されたバッテリーの負荷の下で測定された出力電圧より最大で0.15V減少するような放電特性を与えるように、構成されているコントロールユニット。
- ユーザーの吸入を検知するセンサーと、このような検知に応じてバッテリーからヒーターへの電力の供給を開始するように構成されたコントローラとをさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1記載のコントロールユニット。
- 前記検知に応じてコントローラは、バッテリーからヒーターへの電力の第1の段階そして次に第2の段階を供するように構成され、第1の段階は第2の段階より高いレベルの電流を有することを特徴とする請求項2記載のコントロールユニット。
- 電力の第1の段階は3アンペア以上の電流レベルを有することを特徴とする請求項3記載のコントロールユニット。
- 電力の第1の段階は5アンペア以上の電流レベルを有することを特徴とする請求項4記載のコントロールユニット。
- 半分放電された際のバッテリーの出力電圧は、完全に充電されたバッテリーの出力電圧より最大で0.01V減少していることを特徴とする請求項1乃至5いずれか1項記載のコントロールユニット。
- 半分放電された際のバッテリーの出力電圧は、完全に充電されたバッテリーの出力電圧より最大で0.3%減少していることを特徴とする請求項1乃至6いずれか1項記載のコントロールユニット。
- 87%放電された際のバッテリーの出力電圧は、完全に充電されたバッテリーの出力電圧より最大で0.16V減少していることを特徴とする請求項1乃至7いずれか1項記載のコントロールユニット。
- 87%放電された際のバッテリーの出力電圧は、完全に充電されたバッテリーの出力電圧より最大で5.6%減少していることを特徴とする請求項1乃至8いずれか1項記載のコントロールユニット。
- バッテリーの前記出力電圧は負荷の下で測定される2.6〜3Vの範囲内であることを特徴とする請求項9記載のコントロールユニット。
- バッテリーの前記出力電圧は負荷の下で測定される約2.8Vであることを特徴とする請求項10記載のコントロールユニット。
- バッテリーの前記出力電圧は、開回路の場合3〜3.4Vの範囲内であることを特徴とする請求項1乃至9いずれか1項記載のコントロールユニット。
- 前記出力電圧は、開回路の場合約3.2Vであることを特徴とする請求項12記載のコントロールユニット。
- 電力は放電サイクルに亘って出力電圧の変動を補償せずにバッテリーからヒーターへ供給されることを特徴とする請求項1乃至13いずれか1項記載のコントロールユニット。
- 請求項1乃至14いずれか1項記載のコントロールユニットと前記ヒーターとを含む電子蒸気供給装置。
- ヒーターはコントロールユニットに接続されているカトマイザーに配置されていることを特徴とする請求項15記載の電子蒸気供給装置。
- ヒーターおよびコントロールユニットは単独の装置内に組み込まれていることを特徴とする請求項15記載の電子蒸気供給装置。
