Description

The present invention relates to forceps used to remove foreign matter in blood vessels.

As shown in Patent Documents 1 and 2, as forceps for surgical operation, those having a blade (jaw) that opens and closes at the tip are known.
However, these forceps have the same length of a pair of blades or have thick blades, and are not suitable for removing foreign substances in blood vessels such as stents in stent placement or the like.

Special Table 2013-526362A Gazette

In view of the problems of the existing forceps, it is an object of the present invention to provide forceps suitable for removing foreign substances in blood vessels.

The forceps for removing a foreign body in a blood vessel according to the present invention includes an outer cylinder and a slidable inner cylinder inside the outer cylinder, and the outer cylinder has a pair of blades on the tip side which are opened and closed by sliding the inner cylinder. However, the pair of blades is characterized in that one is a spatula-shaped relatively long and long blade, and the other is a relatively short and short blade having an inward protrusion.

As described above, the forceps according to the present invention are characterized in that the pair of blades are asymmetrical.
The long blade is a plate-shaped spatula, which makes it easy to insert it between a foreign substance existing in the blood vessel and the inner wall of the blood vessel.
On the other hand, the short blade has a protrusion composed of, for example, a plurality of teeth on the inside so as to easily grip a foreign object when the pair of blades is closed.
Further, in the present invention, the inner cylinder is also made into a hollow tube shape so that a guide wire for inserting the sheath portion into the blood vessel can be inserted.

In the present invention, the long blade axially attaches the outside of the rear end portion to the outer cylinder and has a guide hole inside, and the gripping blade axially attaches the outside of the rear end portion to the outer cylinder and has a guide hole inside. An example thereof is a form in which a pin portion provided on the tip end side of the inner cylinder is inserted into both of the guide holes and slide-connected.
In this case, it is preferable that the outer cylinder has a grip on the rear end side, and the inner cylinder is connected to the slide operation knob provided on the grip.

In this way, the operator can remove the foreign substance in the blood vessel simply by sliding the knob back and forth while holding the grip in his hand.

In the forceps according to the present invention, one of the pair of blades is long like a spatula and the other has a protrusion on the inside. Therefore, when removing a foreign substance in a blood vessel, the long blade like a spatula is used as a blood vessel wall. It can be inserted so that it slides between the foreign matter, and by closing the blade as it is, the foreign matter can be grasped by the protrusion on the inside of the short blade and the long blade.

For example, stent placement is performed for the treatment of coronary artery disease and the like, and it is suitable for removal of this stent.
