Description
One aspect of the present invention relates to a power storage module.
A power storage module including a flexible printed circuit board (FPC) connected to a plurality of arranged power storage cells is known (for example, Patent Document 1). This flexible printed circuit board is placed on the upper surface of the power storage cell and is connected to an electronic control unit (ECU).
When a safety valve for discharging the gas in the storage cell is provided on the upper surface of the storage cell, a smoke exhaust duct covering the safety valve is provided on the upper surface of the storage cell. In this case, for example, it is conceivable to place the flexible substrate on the upper surface of the smoke exhaust duct. However, in that case, the height of the entire power storage module becomes high.
One aspect of the present invention is to provide a power storage module having a low height.
The power storage module according to one aspect of the present invention has a safety valve, a plurality of power storage cells arranged therein, first and second side surfaces extending in the arrangement direction of the plurality of power storage cells, and the first side. A smoke exhaust duct covering the safety valve and a smoke exhaust duct connected to the plurality of storage cells, the first and first smoke exhaust ducts having an upper surface arranged between the side surface and the second side surface. It includes first and second flexible printed substrates provided on the side surfaces of the two, respectively.
According to the above-mentioned power storage module, since the flexible printed circuit boards are provided on both side surfaces of the smoke exhaust duct, the height of the power storage module is lowered as compared with the case where the flexible printed circuit boards are provided on the upper surface of the smoke exhaust duct. can do.
The first and second fuses are mounted on the first and second flexible printed circuit boards, respectively, and the first fuse is attached to the positive electrode terminal of one of the plurality of storage cells. Electrically connected, the second fuse may be electrically connected to the negative electrode terminal of the one storage cell. In this case, since the first fuse and the second fuse are arranged apart from each other, it is possible to suppress the occurrence of a short circuit between the conducting wires located between each fuse and each terminal.
The first and second flexible printed circuit boards have first and second main body portions held on the first and second side surfaces, respectively, and the first and second fuses are said. It may be mounted on the first and second main bodies, respectively. In this case, since the main body of each flexible printed circuit board is held on each side surface of the smoke exhaust duct, it is difficult to bend even if an external force is applied. Therefore, it is possible to prevent stress from being applied to each fuse mounted on the main body.
The smoke exhaust duct has first and second bottom plates extending outward from the lower ends of the first and second side surfaces, respectively, and the first flexible printed circuit board is along the first side surface. The second flexible printed circuit board has a first main body portion extending from the lower end of the first main body portion and a first bent portion extending outward along the first bottom plate. A second main body portion extending along the second side surface, and a second bent portion extending outward along the second bottom plate from the lower end of the second main body portion. May be good. As a result, even when the width of each flexible printed circuit board is large, the width of the main body portion can be reduced because each flexible printed circuit board has a bent portion. As a result, the height of the power storage module can be further reduced.
The first flexible printed circuit board has a first main body portion extending along the first side surface, and a plurality of first branch portions branching from the first main body portion. Each of the plurality of first branch portions is a bent portion of the first flexible printed circuit board extending in the arrangement direction, and extends in a direction intersecting the first side surface. However, the second flexible printed circuit board has a second main body portion extending along the second side surface, and a plurality of second branch portions branching from the second main body portion. Each of the plurality of second branch portions is a bent portion of the second flexible printed circuit board extending in the arrangement direction, and is in a direction intersecting the second side surface. It may be postponed. In each flexible printed circuit board, stress may be generated between the branch portion and the main body portion, for example, by pulling the branch portion. When the bifurcation extends in the direction intersecting the side surface, the stress is mainly generated in the arrangement direction. Therefore, even if a rift is formed between the branch portion and the main body portion in the arrangement direction due to stress, the flexible printed circuit board is unlikely to break between the branch portion and the main body portion.
According to one aspect of the present invention, a storage module having a low height can be provided.

The
The restraint member 4 is a member for applying a restraint load to the

The
The
As described above, the
The flexible printed
The flexible printed
Similarly, the flexible printed
