Description
The present invention relates to a method for controlling the decomposition and storage of gold oxide.
Conventionally, various gold surface treatment methods have been proposed (see, for example, Patent Document 1). Gold is not oxidized in air or oxygen, but a gold oxide thin film is formed on its surface by oxygen glow discharge or the like. Gold oxide thin films can play an important role in the surface treatment of gold, as gold is hydrophobic while the gold oxide produced is hydrophilic.
However, since the reaction from gold to gold oxide is an endothermic reaction, if left indoors, the gold oxide decomposes and returns to the original gold after a few days. There is no knowledge about the decomposition of gold oxide and its suppression, and it is difficult to store gold oxide for a long period of time and its industrial use.
The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and decomposition of gold oxide can control the reduction reaction from gold oxide to gold, such as storing gold oxide for a long period of time and promoting decomposition. And the purpose is to provide a control method of preservation.

In order to achieve the above object, the method for controlling the decomposition and storage of gold oxide of the present invention is:
Keep the gold oxide below 75 degrees Celsius and adjust it so that it does not come into contact with strong bases, hydrohalic acids and aldehydes. By adjusting the state of water around the gold oxide, the decomposition and storage of gold oxide is controlled.

According to the present invention, the state of irradiation of gold oxide with light having a wavelength in the ultraviolet region or lower is adjusted, and the state of water around the gold oxide is adjusted. As a result, gold oxide can be stored for a long period of time and decomposition can be promoted by utilizing the property that water is decomposed into radicals and reduced to gold by irradiation with light having a wavelength below the ultraviolet region. , The reduction reaction from gold oxide to gold can be controlled.
Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. In this embodiment, a control method for controlling the decomposition and storage of gold oxide (thin film) formed on the surface of gold (thin film) will be described.
The present inventor has clarified that ultraviolet rays and water are involved in the decomposition of gold oxide, and discovered that the decomposition of gold oxide can be suppressed by blocking ultraviolet rays and water from gold oxide. Therefore, in the method for controlling the decomposition and storage of gold oxide according to the present embodiment, the decomposition of gold oxide is performed by adjusting the irradiation state of ultraviolet rays to the gold oxide and the state of water around the gold oxide. And control storage.
The generation and usage of the gold oxide thin film to be controlled will be described. As shown in FIG. 1, first, the gold
Subsequently, the gold oxide
Subsequently, the environmental state around the generated gold oxide
In step S3, in order to prevent the ultraviolet UV from being irradiated to the gold oxide
5 and 6 show the relationship between the wavelength of light and the transmittance in glass. FIG. 5 shows the light transmittance characteristics of a general glass having a thickness of 3 mm and a laminated glass formed by laminating glass having a thickness of 3 mm. As shown in FIG. 5, a glass having a thickness of 3 mm blocks ultraviolet UV rays having a thickness of 300 nm or less, and a laminated glass blocks ultraviolet rays UV having a thickness of 380 nm or less.
FIG. 6 shows the light transmittance characteristics of borosilicate glass and soda-lime glass having a thickness of 3 mm. As shown in FIG. 6, borosilicate glass having a thickness of 3 mm blocks ultraviolet UV rays having a thickness of 270 nm or less, and soda-lime glass having a thickness of 3 mm blocks ultraviolet rays UV having a thickness of about 290 nm or less. As the
On the other hand, FIG. 7 shows the light transmittance characteristics of quartz glass. As shown in FIG. 7, quartz glass is not suitable for use as the
On the other hand, in step S3, in order to remove water from the periphery of the gold oxide
For example, as shown in FIG. 8, a
Further, in step S3, the gold oxide is decomposed by irradiating at least a part of the gold oxide
For example, as shown in FIG. 11A, the gold oxide
The region B (second portion) is an opening that exposes the gold oxide
When decomposing gold oxide into gold, the shorter the wavelength of the ultraviolet UV to be irradiated, the faster the decomposition of gold oxide, and the larger the amount of water around the gold oxide, the faster the decomposition of gold oxide. Therefore, the decomposition and storage of the gold oxide may be controlled by adjusting the wavelength of the ultraviolet UV that irradiates the gold oxide or adjusting the amount of water around the gold oxide. For example, in order to shorten the decomposition time of gold oxide, the wavelength of the ultraviolet UV to be irradiated may be shortened and the amount of water around the gold oxide may be increased.
As a premise, the gold oxide

In this experiment, the
In FIG. 12, the
また、Oに関しては、3つのピーク、O 1s(I成分)、O 1s(II成分)、O 1s(III成分)が観測された。
That is, in gold oxide, as an XPS spectrum, there are four peaks for Au, Au 4f 7/2 (Metal), Au 4f 5/2 (Metal), Au 4f 7/2 (Oxide),
Each measured spectrum is obtained by dividing the spectrum into peaks by the least squares method using the Gauss-Lorentz function to obtain a curve of each peak. In peak splitting, the Shirley method was used to determine the background. The area strength ratio was set to
Further, in the above-mentioned XPS apparatus, it is possible to analyze the state of the outermost surface by rotating the sample toward the detector and reducing the extraction angle θ of photoelectrons from the sample surface. Therefore, first, using the apparatus (1) above, the extraction angles θ of photoelectrons from gold oxide are changed to 90 °, 30 °, and 10 °, and the
(Relationship between glow discharge time and product spectrum)
FIG. 16 shows the relationship between the glow discharge time and the spectrum of the product. The
From the results of this experiment, it was clarified that the I component and the II component were first produced, and then the III component was produced. Further, as shown in FIG. 15, it is possible to clarify the depth distribution of gold oxide, component I, component II, component III, etc. based on the angle dependence of the gold oxide
(Preservation in the dark)
Subsequently, at 1.0 × 10 5 Pa in the atmosphere, it was compared preserved in dark and bright place of oxygen glow discharge
As shown in FIG. 17, when the gold oxide

Similarly, measurements were taken when the gold oxide

(Summary of experimental results)
The experimental results so far are summarized in the tables of FIGS. 25 (A) to 25 (D). In each table, double circles indicate that the decomposition of gold oxide has been completed, circles indicate that gold oxide is being decomposed, and triangles indicate the start of decomposition of gold oxide. X indicates that the gold oxide was not decomposed.
As shown in FIG. 25 (A), as a result of irradiating the gold oxide
As shown in FIG. 25 (B), as a result of irradiating the gold oxide
As shown in FIG. 25C, when the gold oxide
As shown in FIG. 25 (D), as a result of irradiating the gold oxide
(About the wavelength range of light)
The light that decomposes gold oxide is not limited to ultraviolet UV. As is clear from the absorption spectrum of water vapor in FIG. 26, light having a wavelength shorter than the ultraviolet region (far ultraviolet rays, vacuum ultraviolet rays) also radicalizes water vapor in the same manner as ultraviolet UV rays, so that gold oxide cannot be decomposed. it is obvious. Therefore, in order to suppress the decomposition of gold oxide, it is necessary to block not only ultraviolet UV but also light having a wavelength shorter than the ultraviolet region.
In the present embodiment, in order to store the gold oxide
<Hydrophobicity and hydrophilicity of gold surface>
A state when a 1 wt% polyvinyl alcohol aqueous solution is dropped onto a gold oxide
On the other hand, FIG. 28C shows a state immediately after the water droplets of the aqueous solution are dropped onto the gold oxide
Such properties of the gold oxide
As described in detail above, according to the present embodiment, the irradiation state of the light (for example, ultraviolet UV) having a wavelength in the ultraviolet region or less on the gold oxide
