Description
The present invention relates to a powder transfer device, a powder transfer method, and an image forming device.
Conventionally, a powder transfer device for transporting powder such as a developer of an image forming apparatus has been known.
In the powder transfer device using the rotary-driven screw, the shearing force of the rotary-driven screw acts on the powder, and the heat generated in the motor that rotationally drives the screw is transferred to the powder to heat the powder. As the powder rises, agglomeration of powder is likely to occur.
In order to solve the above problems, the present invention is a powder transporting device for transporting powder, the inner wall portion made of an elastic body forming a powder flow path, and the inner wall portion so as to surround the inner wall portion. A plurality of pump members having an outer wall portion provided on the opposite side of the powder flow path are provided side by side, and a fluid is supplied to the space between the inner wall portion and the outer wall portion of each of the plurality of pump members. Then, the driving means for deforming the inner wall portion of each of the plurality of pump members toward the central axis side of the powder flow path and the deformation of the inner wall portion of the plurality of pump members toward the central axis side are described as the powder. The powder flow path is provided with a control means for controlling the drive means so as to sequentially perform the powder transfer direction from the upstream side to the downstream side in the flow path, and when the inner wall portion is deformed, the powder flow path is provided. The inner wall portion is deformed so that a gap remains, and the cross-sectional area of the powder flow path in a direction orthogonal to the transport direction when the inner wall portion of each of the plurality of pump members is not deformed is defined as S. It is characterized in that 0.75 <(1-s / S) <0.99 is satisfied when the cross-sectional area of the gap in the direction orthogonal to the transport direction when the inner wall portion is deformed is s. is there.
According to the present invention, the powder can be conveyed while suppressing the aggregation of the powder.

The
The
The
Further, the
The
The

FIG. 4 is a cross-sectional view showing a state of deformation of the
5 (a) and 5 (b) are a front view and a side view showing a state of deformation of the
In the

Next, as shown in FIG. 6B, the

Next, as shown in FIG. 6C, the
Next, as shown in FIG. 6D, the
Next, as shown in FIG. 6E, the
Next, as shown in FIG. 6 (f), the

Further, as shown in FIGS. 4 and 5 described above, since the

FIG. 11 is a graph showing the closing rate of the type A and type
(3) Extruded volume The extruded volume is the volume extruded from the powder flow path P when the

In FIG. 12, a transparent

FIG. 16 shows an example of pressurization on / off control for one cycle of powder transfer operation by peristaltic motion. In the figure, t A is the pressurizing time for the first to fourth pump units 110 (111 to 114), and t s is the operation interval of the powder transfer operation.

Figure 18 is a graph showing the measurement results of the conveyance amount of the carrier was determined for each pressing time t A of the
Further, referring to FIG. 18, further transported per unit time in the case of shortening the pressing time t A of the
FIG. 19 is a graph showing a transport amount [g / s] per unit time for each of a plurality of pressurization times t A [s] calculated by the least squares method from the results of FIG. From this result, when the pressurization time t A is 1.5 [s], the transport amount is 1.5 [g / s], and when the pressurization time t A is 1.0 [s], the transport amount is 1.9 [g / s]. It was found that the amount of transport was s]. Further, when the pressurization time t A is 0.5 [s], the transport amount is 4.4 [g / s], and when the pressurization time t A is 0.3 [s], 1.7 [g / s]. amount of conveying, when squeezing time t a is 0.1 [s] becomes a conveyance amount of 0.0 [g / s]. This result is close to the estimated carrier transport amount shown in FIG. 14 described above.

(態様A)
(態様I)

According to this, the inner wall portion of each pump member is formed by sequentially deforming the inner wall portion of the pump member toward the central axis side from the upstream side to the downstream side in the transport direction in the powder flow path. A movement of pushing the powder downstream in the transport direction can be generated in the powder flow path. The inventors of the present application conducted a transfer experiment by pushing out the powder, and found that when the transfer target is powder, the powder can be transferred by deforming the inner wall portion so that voids remain in the powder flow path. found.
In this embodiment, when the inner wall portions of a plurality of pump members are sequentially deformed from the upstream side to the downstream side in the transport direction, the inner wall portions are deformed so that voids remain in the powder flow path, thereby moving in the transport direction. Can transport powder. Moreover, when the inner wall portion made of an elastic body used for transporting the powder is deformed toward the central axis, it acts on the powder to be transported as compared with the case of using a conventional shear that rotates while contacting the powder. The shearing force is small. Further, the deformation of the inner wall used for transporting the powder is relatively long, as compared with the case where the heat generated by the conventional motor is easily transferred through the drive system and the powder is transported by the screw. It can be generated by supplying compressed air through a tube. Therefore, as compared with the case of using a screw that is rotationally driven by a conventional motor, shearing force and temperature rise with respect to the powder are less likely to occur, and aggregation of the powder can be suppressed. As described above, the powder can be conveyed while suppressing the aggregation of the powder.
