Description
The present invention relates to a laying method for laying a cord-shaped object to be laid on the seabed.
Conventionally, a laying method for laying a cord-shaped laying object such as a submarine cable on the seabed has been known. As such a laying method, for example, there is a cable laying method proposed in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2015-77008 (Patent Document 1).

By the way, in
Here, in the case of an object to be laid such as a submarine cable, a maximum allowable value with respect to curvature is generally predetermined so as not to damage the wiring structure or the like existing inside the submarine cable. Therefore, in the laying work within the above range, the curvature of any point on the curve drawn by the first part of the laying object floating on the sea surface in a plan view does not exceed the allowable maximum value. As described above, it was necessary to use the plurality of work boats to regulate the bending of the laid object. However, in
Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide a laying method capable of easily laying an object to be laid on the seabed.
In order to solve the above problems, the laying method according to the present invention is a laying method for laying a cord-shaped laying object on the sea bottom, and a laying ship accommodating the laying object can approach the coastline. The first step of installing a plurality of buoys on the laying line where the laying object should be laid within the range from the limit line or its vicinity to the coastline, and the first step where the laying object should be laid within the range. After attaching a plurality of floats that generate buoyancy in seawater to one part, the first part is thrown into the sea surface from the laying ship and the first part is floated on the sea surface. After performing the third step of attaching the first portion to each of the plurality of buoys while following the laying line existing within the range, and the first to third steps, the laying object is to be laid. It is characterized by including a fourth step of pulling up the land side end portion to the land, and a fifth step of removing the plurality of floats from the first portion after performing the fourth step.
According to the above configuration, within the range from the limit line where the laying ship can approach the shoreline or its vicinity to the shoreline, the first part of the laying object to which a plurality of floats are attached and floats on the sea surface is described above. It is attached and supported by a plurality of buoys installed on the laying line on which the object to be laid should be laid. Therefore, it is not necessary to regulate the bending of the portion of the object to be laid to which a plurality of buoys are attached, and the burden of laying work within the above range can be reduced as compared with the conventional case. As a result, the laying method according to the present invention makes it possible to easily lay the object to be laid on the seabed.
In the second step, the plurality of floats may be attached to the first portion on the laying ship, and the first portion may be introduced into the sea surface in order from the portion to which the floats are attached.
According to the above configuration, it is possible to efficiently perform the second step of throwing the first part of the object to be laid into the sea surface and floating it without taking up more space than necessary on the laying ship.
In the second and third steps, the curvature of any point on the curve drawn by the first portion floating on the sea surface in plan view does not exceed a predetermined allowable maximum value. In addition, a work boat that is closer to the coastline than the laying boat may be used to regulate the bending of the laid object.
According to the above configuration, it is possible to lay it on the seabed so as not to damage the object to be laid.
In the fourth step, the land-side end of the laid object may be connected to a connecting portion existing on land.
According to the above configuration, it is possible to reliably lay the object to be laid on the seabed.
In the fifth step, the plurality of floats removed from the first portion may be collected.
According to the above configuration, since a plurality of floats are not left in the sea, it is possible to protect the environment.
In the fifth step, the plurality of buoys may be removed from the first portion and collected.
According to the above configuration, since a plurality of buoys are not left in the sea, it is possible to protect the environment.
Each of the plurality of buoys may have a floating specimen that generates buoyancy in seawater, an anchor that is submerged in the seabed, and a connecting member that connects the floating specimen and the anchor.
According to the above configuration, it is possible to reliably support the first portion of the laying object floating on the sea surface by using a buoy having a simple configuration.
Each of the plurality of floats may be a tire tube that generates buoyancy in seawater.
According to the above configuration, the first portion of the laid object can be reliably suspended on the sea surface by using a float having an inexpensive and simple configuration.
According to the present invention, it is possible to provide a laying method capable of easily laying an object to be laid on the seabed.
Hereinafter, the laying method according to the embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. The present invention is not limited to the present embodiment. Further, in the following, the same or corresponding elements are designated by the same reference numerals throughout all the figures, and the duplicated description thereof will be omitted.
FIG. 1 is a schematic view for explaining step S1 (first step) of the laying method according to the present embodiment. The laying method according to the present embodiment is executed to lay the submarine cable 20 (cable-shaped laying object) on the seabed between the other land (not shown) and one land L.

That is, in FIG. 1 and the like, the land L is on the right side of the paper and the sea S is on the left side of the paper with the coastline A as the boundary. As shown in FIG. 1 and the like, in the present embodiment, the laying line B reaches the utility pole 80 (connection portion) existing on one land L.

As shown in FIG. 1, within the range R from the vicinity of the limit line K where the

FIG. 2 is a schematic view for explaining step S2 (second step) of the laying method according to the present embodiment. As shown in FIG. 2, after performing the above step S1, a plurality of tire tubes 40 (plural floats) that generate buoyancy in seawater are attached to the

(effect)
Here, the conventional laying method requires a large number of work boats, a large amount of manpower, and a large cost in order to regulate the deflection of the submarine cable so that the curvature does not exceed the maximum allowable value. There was a problem that it would be necessary. In particular, for example, due to the influence of shallowness, the laying ship accommodating the submarine cable has a relatively wide range from the limit line that can approach the shoreline to the shoreline, or the laying work cannot be completed by nightfall and floats on the sea surface. The above problem could be noticeable when it became necessary to regulate the bending of the submarine cable all night long.
Further, in the conventional laying method, it is generally necessary to instruct each of many work vessels from a laying vessel or the like to move to. However, from the viewpoint of the laying vessel, it was difficult to grasp the position of each work vessel. It was also difficult to grasp the curved shape drawn by the submarine cable in a plan view. For the above reasons, it was difficult to accurately indicate the destination to each of many work vessels.
In the present embodiment, the
In the present embodiment, the
In the present embodiment, the steps S2 and S3 are performed by using a
