Description
The present invention relates to a solid bactericidal agent dissolving apparatus and method for producing a bactericidal agent solution by dissolving the solid bactericidal agent in water in a mixing tank.
Such a solid bactericide dissolving device is provided in, for example, a ballast water treatment device for ships. A typical example of ballast water treatment for sterilizing ship's ballast water with a bactericidal agent is to filter seawater taken from outside the ship, inject a bactericidal agent containing an oxidizing substance into the filtered seawater, and then inject the bactericidal agent. The seawater is sterilized by storing or filling the ballast tank, and the seawater taken from the ballast tank is injected with a reducing agent containing a reducing substance, and the seawater after the reducing agent is injected is drained to the outside of the ship. It can be roughly divided into reduction treatment. As a sterilizing treatment, it is known to use an aqueous solution of a bactericidal agent containing free active chlorine having an oxidizing property as a bactericidal agent. The disinfectant aqueous solution (disinfectant solution) can be prepared by dissolving a solid disinfectant in water (Patent Document 1).
The solid bactericide dissolving device of
As an example of being used as a solid bactericide, chlorinated isocyanurate, which is an oxidizing substance, is stable at room temperature and in a dry state, but when it comes into contact with a small amount of water or is exposed to high temperature, the reaction proceeds further. There is a risk of fire and harmful gas generation due to the accumulation of heat of reaction. Further, when the storage amount of the solid disinfectant is large, the surface area per unit weight of the solid disinfectant in contact with the air in the storage container, for example, the hopper becomes small, so that heat dissipation is reduced and the amount of reaction heat generated is the solid disinfectant. It exceeds the amount of heat dissipated from the air to the air, and heat storage may lead to fire or the generation of harmful gas.
When such a solid disinfectant is dissolved by a disinfectant dissolving device and used in a ship ballast water treatment device, a heat generation phenomenon that generates heat of reaction does not occur in normal use, but the handling method and installation of the disinfectant dissolving device It may generate heat of reaction depending on the environmental conditions at the location.
Depending on the installation location of the disinfectant dissolving device, the temperature and humidity conditions for the solid disinfectant to be stable may deviate, in which case the heat of reaction accumulates and the solid disinfectant becomes hot. , There was a risk that the sailors and installation location would be at risk. The hopper of the disinfectant dissolving device for storing the solid disinfectant is provided with a level meter for detecting the amount of the disinfectant, but there is no means for detecting the accumulation of heat of reaction. As described above, since the occurrence of the heat generation phenomenon cannot be detected until a serious situation occurs, there is a risk that the hopper may be damaged or harmful gas may be released from the air vent of the hopper.
FIG. 2 of the attached drawing shows the time course of the disinfectant temperature when 10% water by weight was added to sodium dichloroisocyanurate dihydrate as an example of a solid disinfectant and stored at a constant temperature of 50 ° C. Shown.
As can be seen in FIG. 2, when water is added to the solid fungicide, internal heat generation and heat dissipation antagonize for a while after the heat generation phenomenon occurs, and the temperature rise is gradual, but when the temperature exceeds 60 ° C, the temperature rise rate increases. It can be seen that the temperature increases and then the temperature rises rapidly.
As described above, if the temperature rises rapidly and the solid bactericide in a high temperature state is left unattended, there is a risk of fire or harmful gas generation as described above.
In view of such circumstances, the present invention provides a solid bactericidal agent dissolving device and a method for preventing the temperature of the solid bactericidal agent contained in the hopper from rising above an unfavorable temperature during the storage in the hopper. Is the subject.

The hopper containing the solid bactericidal agent, the feeder that receives the solid bactericidal agent from the hopper and cuts out the solid bactericidal agent, and the solid sterilizer cut out from the feeder and the fresh water from the fresh water supply line are supplied to the solid. In a solid disinfectant solubilizer having a mixing tank that mixes the disinfectant and fresh water to produce a mixture.

The solid disinfectant storage device includes a storage container, an extraction pipe that connects the hopper and the storage container via an on-off valve, and a suction machine that sucks and extracts the solid disinfectant in the hopper into the storage container. Have,
A solid bactericide dissolving device.
In the solid bactericide dissolving apparatus of the present invention configured as described above, the solid bactericide is dissolved in water in a mixing tank to produce a bactericide solution.
In the present invention having such a configuration, it is preferable that the solid bactericide storage device has a replaceable storage container having a smaller storage volume than the hopper.
After the solid bactericide is extracted into a storage container for storing the solid bactericide in a predetermined storage amount and stored up to the predetermined storage amount, it is replaced with the next empty storage container for storage. By doing so, the solid bactericide having been heated to a predetermined temperature or higher can be extracted one after another from the hopper. Further, by reducing the volume of the storage container, the solid bactericide in the storage container can dissipate heat in a short time, and the small size of the storage container facilitates the replacement work.
In the present invention, the solid bactericide storage device preferably includes an adapter that can be attached to and detached from the container body of the storage container and connects an extraction pipe. The container body can be easily replaced.

By doing so, it is possible to collect the fine powdered solid bactericide contained in the exhaust gas discharged from the suction machine and prevent the solid bactericide from being released to the atmosphere.
In the present invention, the solid sterilizing agent dissolving device further has a control device, which receives a measured value from a thermometer, and when the measured value is higher than a predetermined temperature, the on-off valve is opened and suction is performed.
<Solid fungicide dissolution method>
In a method for dissolving a solid disinfectant, which is obtained by cutting out the solid disinfectant from a hopper containing the solid disinfectant with a feeder and mixing the cut out solid disinfectant with fresh water from a fresh water supply line in a mixing tank to generate a mixed solution. ,
The temperature of the solid bactericide in the hopper is measured with a thermometer, and when the measured value is higher than the predetermined temperature, the on-off valve provided in the extraction pipe connecting the hopper and the storage container is opened and suction is performed. A part of the solid fungicide is sucked out from the above hopper with a machine and stored in a storage container.
A method for dissolving a solid fungicide.
As described above, the present invention measures the temperature of the solid bactericide in the hopper containing the solid bactericide, and when the measured value becomes higher than the predetermined temperature, a part of the solid bactericide in the hopper is extracted. Since it was decided to store the solid disinfectant in the storage container, the capacity of the solid disinfectant in the hopper is reduced, so that heat is dissipated and the temperature is lower than the predetermined temperature, which is higher than the predetermined temperature of the solid disinfectant. It is possible to prevent the temperature from rising to the temperature and generating a fire or harmful gas. The solid sterilizer extracted into the storage container dissipates heat in a cool environment without humidity, monitors the temperature with a non-contact thermometer, etc., and if the heat generation does not subside, dissolve it in a large amount of water and then add the reducing agent. In addition, a reduction treatment is performed.
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings. Needless to say, the present invention is not limited to the illustrated embodiments.
The solid bactericide dissolving device 1 (hereinafter referred to as “
FIG. 1 is a block diagram of the
The
The
The solid
The storage container 9 has a
Although the configuration of the disinfectant solution generator 1C is not shown in FIG. 1, the disinfectant solution generator 1C receives the mixture solution from the
Next, the operation of the
As described above, the solid bactericide contained in the
Furthermore, as described above with reference to FIG. 2, water is added to the solid fungicide, and for a while after the occurrence of the heat generation phenomenon, internal heat generation and heat dissipation antagonize each other, and the temperature rise is gradual. When the temperature is exceeded, the rate of temperature rise increases, and after that, the temperature rises rapidly, and if the solid disinfectant in a high temperature state is left unattended, there is a risk of fire and harmful gas generation as described above.
Therefore, in the present invention, as seen in the form of FIG. 1, the temperature of the solid bactericide contained in the
The
The solid bactericide in the
The solid bactericide extracted from the
As described above, the
In the ballast water treatment device, the sea chest provided on the hull and the ballast tank are connected by a ballast water pipe, and the seawater taken from the sea chest flows through the ballast water pipe and fills the ballast tank as ballast water. It is supposed to be watered. The ballast water pipe was supplied from a ballast pump for sending seawater to a ballast tank, a filtration device for filtering and removing foreign substances and plankton in seawater, and a
When the ballast pump is operated in the ballast water treatment device having such a configuration, seawater is taken from the outside of the ship as ballast water through the sea chest and flows through the ballast water pipe, and the ballast water is brought to the filtration device. Here, foreign matter and plankton in seawater are filtered out. The filtered ballast water goes to the mixer.

In the present invention, a control device is provided as a preferred embodiment, but this is not essential. In the absence of the control device, when the measured value of the thermometer becomes higher than a predetermined temperature, for example, an alarm is issued. In response to this alarm, the solid bactericide may be manually removed from the hopper and stored in the storage container, and the storage container body may be replaced and stored.
