Claims (10)
- 1つ以上の中間層を間に挟んで2つのハード層が密着された積層構造を1単位として、該積層構造を1単位以上有しており、
前記中間層が、粘弾性を有しており、かつフレキシブル積層体を曲げた場合、前記中間層を間に挟んで密着されたハード層の内部のそれぞれにニュートラルプレーンが形成されており、
前記フレキシブル積層体を曲げた場合、前記積層構造1単位について、ハード層のヤング率E H 、中間層のヤング率E T 、ハード層の断面二次モーメントI H 、中間層の断面二次モーメントI H としたとき、
E H *I H の値がE T *I T の値の少なくとも10倍以上であり、前記中間層の内部にニュートラルプレーンが形成されることなく、前記中間層を間に挟んで密着されたハード層の内部のそれぞれにニュートラルプレーンが形成されることを特徴とするフレキシブル積層体。 - 前記フレキシブル積層体を曲げた場合、前記中間層を間に挟んで密着された一方のハード層に対し他方のハード層が、前記中間層を介して、実質的に積層面方向と平行な方向のみにずれるように、前記フレキシブル積層体を積層方向より挟持している支持機構を備えたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のフレキシブル積層体。
- 前記フレキシブル積層体を曲げた場合、前記フレキシブル積層体の端部に、前記中間層を間に挟んで密着された一方のハード層に対する他方のハード層のずれに対応する段差が形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載のフレキシブル積層体。
- 前記フレキシブル積層体を略U字状となるように一定の曲率半径で曲げた場合、前記中間層が、関係式(1)〜(3)で示される関係を実質的に満たすように構成されており、かつ前記フレキシブル積層体を曲げた際の最大せん断ひずみ領域において、材料固有の破断ひずみが、関係式(5)で定義される最大せん断ひずみを超えており、かつ前記フレキシブル積層体を曲げた際の最大せん断ひずみ領域において、材料固有の破断せん断応力が、関係式(4)で定義される最大せん断応力を超えていることを特徴とする請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載のフレキシブル積層体。

θ1は、前記中間層に密着された一方のハード層の厚み方向中央の曲げ角度であり、
θ2は、前記中間層に密着された他方のハード層の厚み方向中央の曲げ角度であり、
tは、前記中間層の厚みであり、
h1は、前記中間層に密着された一方のハード層の厚みであり、
h2は、前記中間層に密着された他方のハード層の厚みであり、
Lは、前記曲率半径(R1+R2)/2の曲率終了部分での、前記中間層に密着された一方のハード層に対する他方のハード層のずれ量であり、
τxyは、前記中間層のせん断応力であり、
Gは、前記中間層のせん断弾性係数であり、
γ(=2εxy)は、前記中間層のせん断ひずみであり、
εxyは、歪みテンソルである。 - 前記ずれ量Lが、前記フレキシブル積層体の端部での中間層を間に挟んで密着された一方のハード層に対する他方のハード層のずれ量と実質的に同じであることを特徴とする請求項4に記載のフレキシブル積層体。
- フレキシブル積層体を構成する前記中間層は、シリコーン系感圧接着剤、アクリル系感圧接着剤、およびウレタン系感圧接着剤からなる群より選択された少なくとも1種の接着剤で構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載のフレキシブル積層体。
- 前記中間層を構成する接着剤の剪断周波数1Hzにおける損失係数tanδが、−40℃〜100℃の温度範囲において、0.2〜5.0の範囲にあることを特徴とする請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載のフレキシブル積層体。
- 前記フレキシブル積層体の一端部に対し他端部を90度以上、曲げることが可能である請求項1から7のいずれか一項に記載のフレキシブル積層体。
- 前記中間層を間に挟んで密着されたハード層のうちの一方のハード層が、フレキシブルディスプレイ用発光層であり、かつ他方のハード層が、支持層、光学機能層、保護層、およびフレキシブルディスプレイ用透明電極層から選ばれた1種以上であることを特徴とする請求項1から8のいずれか一項に記載のフレキシブル積層体。
- 請求項9に記載のフレキシブル積層体を備えたことを特徴とするフレキシブルディスプレイ。
