Description
The present invention relates to an absorbent article.
In various absorbent articles such as disposable diapers, incontinence pads and sanitary napkins, the absorbent articles may be scented to mask the odor in order to prevent the perceived odor from the absorbed excrement. It is often done. In order to enhance the masking effect, it is necessary to strengthen the fragrance scent, but if the fragrance scent is too strong, it may make the wearer or others feel unwell.
For the purpose of enhancing the masking effect of the fragrance, the fragrance is generally applied to the absorber in the absorbent article. However, excrement such as urine absorbed by the absorber may be mixed with the fragrance to generate another odor, and the masking effect of the fragrance may be reduced.
As a conventional technique for suppressing an odor generated from excrement absorbed and retained in an absorbent article by masking with a fragrance, for example,
As another technique for suppressing the odor generated from excrement absorbed and retained in the absorbent article,
However, the demand for further improvement of the quality of life is increasing, and the odor suppressing effect required for absorbent goods is also required to be higher than before. Therefore, a high deodorant suppressing effect exceeding the techniques described in
Therefore, an object of the present invention is to improve an absorbable article that has been scented, and more specifically, to provide an absorbable article that can effectively suppress an odor generated by absorption of excrement by a fragrance. ..
The present invention has an absorbent core, a back sheet, and an absorbent core arranged between both sheets, and an absorbent core in which a lower sheet is arranged between the front sheet and the absorbent core. It ’s an article,
The surface sheet has a concavo-convex structure on the side facing the skin, and the convex portion in the concavo-convex structure has a hollow structure.
Among the members located on the skin side of the wearer with respect to the absorbent core, the skin-facing surface of the high-density member having the highest density contains a fragrance, or the member is worn more than the skin-facing surface of the high-density member. It provides an absorbent article in which at least one of the members located on the skin side of a person contains a fragrance.
According to the present invention, there is provided an absorbable article capable of effectively suppressing an odor such as urine odor caused by absorption of excrement by a fragrance.
Hereinafter, the present invention will be described based on the preferred embodiment with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 shows an embodiment of an absorbent article of the present invention. The figure is a cross-sectional view in the thickness direction along the width direction in the central region of the absorbent article in the longitudinal direction (that is, the inseam of the wearer in the wearing state). As shown in FIG. 1, the
The
The
The
As the material for forming the
The
The
As shown in FIG. 4, the
As shown in FIG. 4, which is a schematic view showing a cross section of the
As shown in FIG. 4, the
When the
The ratio of the fiber density of the

The
It is preferable that the uneven structure of the
The

(D) Since the
Further, when the
In the present invention, the density of each member constituting the

In the case of the forms (b), (c) and (e), the fragrance may be contained in any part of the second sheet or the
In particular, in the cases of (b), (e) and (f), that is, when the fragrance is contained in the

In any of the forms (a) to (f), the position of the fragrance when the
In particular, if the fragrance is contained not only in the rear region of the
As described above, the

Compositions can also be used. Examples of such a fragrance composition include nerol, lavandulol, jasmar, cyclopidene and the like, and one of these can be used alone or in combination of two or more.
In addition, the fragrance is a simple substance of the fragrance composition described above, or a combination of fragrance materials composed of a plurality of fragrances (fragrance composition) such as natural essential oils and compounding bases, which are diluted with a solvent. "Adjusted" is included. For example, as the fragrance, a fragrance composition containing a fragrance having a rose, lavender, jasminum, or Iran-Iran-like fragrance can be used.
In particular, the fragrance preferably contains a substance that inhibits the activation of human olfactory receptors due to the urine odor component (hereinafter, this substance is also referred to as "antagonist fragrance"). The antagonist is a competitive antagonist that inhibits the action by competing for the binding site, and the antagonist fragrance is a target when the binding site is the
Suppression of odor by olfactory receptor antagonism is distinguished from means of masking the desired odor by the scent of fragrance, such as deodorization by air freshener, even if it is a means using other molecules as well. Will be done. An example of suppression of odor by olfactory receptor antagonism is the use of a substance that inhibits the activation of olfactory receptors such as an antagonist. When a substance that inhibits the activation of a odor molecule that causes a specific odor is applied to the receptor, the activity of the receptor on the odor molecule is inhibited, so that the odor finally perceived by the individual is suppressed. be able to.
As the urine odor component, p-cresol and 2-methoxy-4-vinylphenol are known as typical ones. Suppressing the odor of these substances by olfactory receptor antagonism is preferable from the viewpoint of effective suppression of odor. p-Cresol and 2-methoxy-4-vinylphenol are representative of the odor emitted from urine that has been urinated or aged after urine collection, or urine that has been scattered and dried, or the odor emitted from an absorbent article that has been left unattended after use. It is a typical one.
As used herein, the term "urine odor" is preferably an odor emitted from urine that has been urinated or has been collected for a long time. For example, the "urine odor" herein can be the odor of scattered and dry urine or the odor of urine emanating from an absorbent article left after use. Also preferably, the "urine odor" herein is the odor of β-glucuronidase-treated urine or an extract thereof.
In particular, the antagonist fragrance is preferably any of the substances that inhibit the activation of OR9Q2, OR10G4, OR10G7 or OR2W1 as human olfactory receptors. As a result, the activity against the urine odor component is further suppressed, and the odor finally perceived by the individual can be further suppressed. By applying an antagonist fragrance to OR9Q2 or OR2W1 among these olfactory receptors, an odor-suppressing effect is specifically exerted on p-cresol. Further, by applying an antagonist fragrance to OR10G4 or OR10G7, an odor suppressing effect is specifically exhibited with respect to 2-methoxy-4-vinylphenol.

[Evaluation]
20 g of human urine was injected into each of the absorbent articles of each Example and Comparative Example, and the urine odor was evaluated sensorially. Evaluation was performed in the following 6 stages, and the average value of evaluation by 3 evaluators was calculated. The evaluation results are shown in Table 1 below.
1: No urine odor 2: Almost no urine odor 3: Weak urine odor 4: Smell urine 5: Relieve urine odor 6: Strengthen urine odor
As is clear from the results shown in Table 1, the value of each example is less than 3, and it can be seen that the odor suppressing effect is higher than that of Comparative Example 1.
