Description

The present invention relates to an absorbent article.

For absorbent articles such as diapers, waist gathers are arranged on the back side and the ventral side of the wearer so as to fit the skin (for example, Patent Document 1).
Patent Document 2 describes the configuration of a diaper for eliminating a step due to a difference in thickness in the rear waist circumference region with respect to the above-mentioned fit to the skin. Specifically, it is described that the rear waist elastic sheet of the diaper is arranged so as to overlap the rear end portion of the absorbent core. Further, the rear end portion of the absorption core has one low-rigidity portion in the center in the width direction, which has a lower basis weight than other portions or has no absorbent core, in order to prevent an unintended ridge. In addition, it is described that the thickness of the entire portion overlapping the rear waist elastic sheet of the absorbent core is reduced by reducing the basis weight or embossing.
Patent Document 3 describes a diaper in which a three-dimensional guard is provided on the skin surface side separately from the waist elastic member, and the three-dimensional guard is arranged so as to overlap the excrement guiding portion at the end of the absorber. The three-dimensional guard has a free end on the skin side of the surface sheet, and has elasticity in the width direction due to an elastic member. The excrement guiding portion is composed of recesses formed by compressing the absorber by embossing or the like or unevenly distributing the constituent components, and guides the excrement portion into the three-dimensional guard along the recesses. On the other hand, the waist elastic member does not overlap with the excrement guiding portion.

If a low-rigidity portion is provided at the rear (dorsal) end of the absorber as in Patent Document 2, or if the entire end is thinned, the absorption capacity is reduced and excrement is likely to leak from the dorsal side. turn into. Especially in the case of adult diapers, a urine absorbing pad is often used together, and a decrease in absorption capacity on the dorsal side becomes a big problem. Specifically, when the wearer is lying down, urine may spill on the back side of the urine absorbing pad and shift to the outer diaper, and if there is not enough absorption capacity at that position, the urine will remain as it is. It will flow and lead to leakage. In particular, since the low-rigidity portion greatly cuts the absorber corresponding to the wearer's spine, the possibility of leakage increases. Further, in the diaper described in Patent Document 3, it is difficult to deal with the above-mentioned urine leakage because the three-dimensional guard is blocked by the urine collecting pad.
In addition, in the absorber in which the low-rigidity portion is arranged only in the central portion in the width direction as in Patent Document 2, the deformability of both side portions is inferior to the deformability of the central portion corresponding to the spine. Due to this deformability, the diaper's fit to the skin is poorer on both sides than in the center. On the other hand, the wearer's skin is more likely to change in the soft part from both sides to the flank than in the vicinity of the spine. Therefore, from the viewpoint of fit to the skin of diapers and the like and prevention of leakage due to this, deformability on both sides is important as an absorber. However, as described above, simply increasing the number of cut portions in the absorber may reduce the absorption capacity and rather reduce the leakage prevention property.

In view of the above problems, the present invention relates to both improving the fit in the dorsal region of the absorbent article and preventing leakage from the dorsal side.

The present invention includes a front surface sheet on the skin contact surface side, a back surface sheet on the non-skin contact surface side, and an absorber between both sheets, and is arranged in the ventral region and inseam arranged on the ventral side of the wearer. An absorbent article having a longitudinal direction divided into an inseam region and a dorsal region arranged on the dorsal side and a width direction orthogonal to the longitudinal direction, wherein the absorber is the back of the absorber. It has a thin-walled portion that extends from the side end to the ventral side and has a smaller grain size of the absorber material than the surroundings, and a plurality of the thin-walled portions are lined up in the width direction, and the waist gather portion overlaps with the thin-walled portion in the longitudinal direction. Provide an absorbent article in which is arranged.

The absorbent article of the present invention can achieve both improvement of fit in the dorsal region of the absorbent article and prevention of leakage from the dorsal side.

A tape-type diaper as a preferred embodiment (first embodiment) of the absorbent article according to the present invention will be described below with reference to FIG.

In the present specification, unless otherwise specified, the side in contact with the human body is referred to as the skin contact surface side, and the opposite side is referred to as the non-skin contact surface side. In the plan view of the absorbent article, the direction in which the absorbent article is arranged from the ventral side to the dorsal side through the inseam is referred to as the longitudinal direction (Y direction) of the absorbent article. The direction orthogonal to the longitudinal direction is called the width direction (X direction). Further, in a member or a portion having a length in the longitudinal direction, the end portion toward the ventral side of the portion is referred to as a ventral end portion, and the end portion toward the dorsal side is referred to as a dorsal end portion. Further, the direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction and the width direction of the absorbent article is referred to as a thickness direction (Z direction), and the length in the Z direction is referred to as a thickness.

FIG. 1 shows the unfolded state of the tape-type diaper 10 of the present embodiment. Here, the unfolded state means a state in which each part is stretched to spread the absorbent article in a plane.

As shown in FIG. 1, the tape-type diaper 10 has a ventral region F arranged on the ventral side of the wearer at the time of wearing, an inseam region C arranged on the inseam of the wearer, and a wearer's inseam along the longitudinal direction. It is divided into a dorsal region R arranged on the dorsal side. If each part cannot be clearly distinguished from the shape of the tape-type diaper 10, divide the tape-type diaper 10 into three equal parts in the longitudinal direction (Y direction), and in order from the area arranged closer to the ventral side of the wearer, the ventral side. It is divided into a region F, an inseam region C, and a dorsal region R. Hereinafter, the tape-type disposable diaper 10 is also simply referred to as a diaper 10.

The tape-type diaper 10 has a front surface sheet 1 on the skin contact surface side, a back surface sheet 2 on the non-skin contact surface side, and a liquid-retaining absorber 3 interposed between both sheets 1 and 2. Further, a pair of side sheets 4 are arranged on the skin contact surface side of the surface sheet 1 from both sides in the longitudinal direction (Y direction) toward the outside in the width direction (X direction). An exterior sheet (not shown) made of a non-woven fabric may be arranged on the non-skin contact surface side of the back sheet 2 so as to cover the entire surface thereof. This exterior sheet gives the outside of the diaper 10 a soft touch and texture.

The front surface sheet 1, the back surface sheet 2, and the side sheet 4 are joined so as to extend outward in the longitudinal direction and outward in the width direction of the absorber 3. Further, the front surface sheet 1, the back surface sheet 2, and the side sheet 4 extend outward in the width direction (X direction) in the ventral region F and the dorsal region R to form a flap portion 17 (of the ventral region F). The flap portion may be distinguished from the ventral flap portion 17F, and the flap portion of the dorsal region R may be distinguished from the dorsal flap portion 17R).
As a result, the outer shape of the diaper 10 is such that the dorsal region R and the ventral region F project in the width direction from the inseam region C, in other words, the inseam region C is constricted. In addition, the absorber 3 also has a shape in which the inseam C is constricted. However, the shape of the absorber 3 is not limited to this, and various shapes such as a rectangle can be used.

Further, a fastening tape 18 for wearing a diaper stopper and a tape base 19 are arranged at both left and right ends of the dorsal flap portion 17R of the diaper 10 in the width direction (X direction). Specifically, the tape base 19 is joined to the widthwise end of the dorsal flap 17R, and the fastening tape 18 is joined to the widthwise end of the tape base 19.

In the present embodiment, the absorber 3 has a basis weight of the absorber material extending ventrally from the dorsal end portion 35 in the portion of the dorsal region R (hereinafter referred to as the dorsal portion 3R of the absorber). It has a small thin portion 31. A plurality of thin-walled portions 31 are arranged side by side in the width direction along the dorsal end portion 35 of the absorber 3. The space between the thin parts 31 and 31 is filled with an absorber material to form a thick part 32 having a basis weight larger than that of the thin part 31. The thick portion 32 is continuous with the inseam region C of the absorber 3. The absorbent material is a material that absorbs and retains the liquid, and is, for example, a fiber material such as pulp or a highly absorbent polymer. In the present embodiment, the thin-walled portion 31 is also arranged in the ventral region F of the absorber 3 in the same manner.
In addition, a waist gather portion 5 that expands and contracts in the width direction is arranged in the width direction between the tape bases 19 and 19 at a position that overlaps the thin wall portion 31 in the longitudinal direction. In the range where they overlap in the longitudinal direction, the waist gather portion 5 connects the thin portions 31 and 31 in the width direction. Due to this overlapping arrangement, the waist gather portion 5 directly expands and contracts the region of a predetermined range from the dorsal end portion 35 of the absorber 3 toward the ventral side in the width direction. The waist gather portion 5 means the entire region of the dorsal region R of the diaper 10 where the elastic member 51 is arranged. If the waist gather portion 5 has a function of expanding and contracting the dorsal region R of the diaper 10 in the width direction, the elastic members 51 may be arranged continuously in the width direction or may be arranged intermittently. In the present embodiment, the elastic member 51 is a plurality of thread-like members continuously arranged in the width direction between the absorber 3 and the back surface sheet 2. However, the member is not limited to this, and may be a sheet-like member, and the back surface sheet itself may be composed of an elastic sheet. In any of the members, the elastic member 51 is arranged in the width direction in an elongated state and expandable and contractible. In the present embodiment, the stretched elastic member 51 is joined and fixed by the fixing portions 52 inside the left and right tape bases 19, and can be expanded and contracted between the fixing portions 52 and 52. The arrangement of the elastic member 51 is not limited to that of the present embodiment, and may be various arrangement forms adopted in this type of article.

As described above, the waist gather portion 5 is positioned so as to overlap the plurality of thin-walled portions 31 arranged in the width direction of the absorber 3 in the longitudinal direction. Further, in this overlap, the waist gather portion 5 connects the thin portions 31 and 31 in the width direction. As a result, the dorsal region R of the diaper 10 suppresses the gap between the diaper 10 and the skin and fits gently, and liquid leakage in the dorsal region R is suppressed. This point will be described in detail below.

In the absorber 3, the thin-walled portion 31 is a portion that can be deformed more flexibly than other portions due to its small basis weight. That is, the thin portion 31 is a flexible portion in the dorsal portion 3R of the absorber. Since there are a plurality of thin-walled portions 31 as flexible portions in the width direction, the entire dorsal portion 3R of the absorber is likely to be uniformly deformed (expanded and contracted) in accordance with the expansion and contraction of the waist gather portion 5 connecting these in the width direction. The expansion and contraction of the waist gather portion 5 includes "contraction" in the directions indicated by arrows X1 and X1 toward the center line T in the width direction and "extension" in the directions indicated by arrows X2 and X2 outward in the width direction from the center line T in the width direction. Including.
As the deformation, for example, when the waist gather portion 5 contracts, the thin-walled portion 31 protrudes to the non-skin side or the skin side and is folded in the width direction, and the sparse portion of the thin-walled portion 31 contracts in the width direction. There is deformation etc. Further, when the waist gather portion 5 is extended, the shape of the thin wall portion 31 is restored. Moreover, these deformations are evenly and clearly generated in the entire plurality of thin-walled portions 31 by the direct action of the elastic force of the waist gather portion 5 overlapping the thin-walled portion 31 in the longitudinal direction. As a result, the dorsal portion 3R of the absorber is deformed in the width direction following the expansion and contraction of the waist gather portion 5, and the elasticity of the dorsal region R of the diaper 10 in the width direction is enhanced. As a result, the fit of the diaper 10 to the entire dorsal side from the wearer's back to the flank is improved. Further, due to this elasticity, the diaper 10 has a high followability to the deformation of the undulating shape of the skin surface caused by the change in the posture of the wearer. As a result, a gap between the diaper 10 and the wearer's back side is less likely to occur, and leakage prevention is improved.
In addition, the thin-walled portion 31 contracts in the width direction and the space is narrowed as the waist gather portion 5 straddling the thick-walled portions 32 and connecting the plurality of thin-walled portions 31. At this time, the thin-walled portion 31 easily exerts a capillary force to conduct a liquid-conducting action, and easily draws in the liquid along the extending direction to the ventral side. Further, a plurality of thick portions 32 existing in the width direction approach each other due to contraction in the waist gather portion 5 to enhance the cooperation of liquid absorption. The above-mentioned cooperative action between the plurality of thick-walled portions 32 that cooperate with each other and the plurality of thin-walled portions 31 on which the capillary force acts between them enhances the liquid drawing property in the dorsal portion 3R of the absorber. This further enhances the liquid leakage prevention property from the dorsal side, and can also draw in and absorb urine or the like spilling from the dorsal side of the urine absorbing pad.

From the viewpoint of the above action, it is preferable that each thin-walled portion 31 has a planar shape in which both side edges 317 and 317 of the thin-walled portion 31 can easily come into contact with each other during contraction deformation. For example, it is preferable that the side edges 317 and 317 are parallel to each other rather than separated from each other toward the dorsal end 35. Further, it is more preferable that the mode approaches the dorsal end portion 35. As a result, as the waist gather portion 5 contracts, both side edges 317 and 317 of the thin-walled portion 31, especially the dorsal end portions 318 and 318 of both side edges are easily brought into contact with each other, and the dorsal end portion 35 of the absorber 3 Increases the protection against leakage of liquid from. This, in combination with the above action, enhances the ventral drawing property of the absorber 3. The both side edges of the thin portion 31 are the boundary portions with the thick portion 32. As will be described later, the boundary portion differs depending on the mode of the thin-walled portion 31, and refers to the boundary portion between the thin-walled absorbing portion A, the recess 31B, and the through holes C to E and the adjacent thick-walled portion 32.

Further, from the viewpoint of achieving both flexible deformation in the dorsal portion 3R of the absorber and retention of the absorption capacity, it is preferable that the side edges 317 and 317 are in a mode of approaching toward the ventral side. In FIG. 1, both side edges 317 and 317 have a shape that converges on the ventral end portion 319 at one point. However, the present invention is not limited to this aspect, and a shape (not shown) that approaches one point without converging may be used.

The individual thin-walled portions 31 do not necessarily have to be parallel to the longitudinal direction of the diaper 10 as long as they have a shape extending ventrally from the dorsal end portion 35 of the absorber 3. For example, the dorsal end 35 side of the thin wall portion 31 may be inclined toward the center in the width direction toward the outside from the center in the width direction. In this aspect, the dorsal portion 3R of the absorber is more likely to contract in the width direction, and liquid leakage can be prevented more reliably.

The thin-walled portion 31 includes both a mode having the absorber material and a mode having no absorber material as long as the basis weight of the absorber material constituting the absorber 3 is smaller than the others. Further, when the absorber 3 is composed of a laminated body of a plurality of layers, a portion in which the portion having a small basis weight in any of the layers and the portion of the other layer at that position are combined is referred to as a thin-walled portion 31.

For example, as a specific example of the embodiment in which the thin-walled portion 31 has an absorber material, there is an embodiment including a thin-walled absorbing portion 31A and a recess 31B as shown in FIG. Since the basis weight is small and the thickness is thin as described above, the thin-walled portion 31 becomes a flexible portion at the dorsal end portion of the absorber 3. Although not shown, if the basis weight is small, it may be a sparsely-dense portion in which the interfiber space is widened by reducing the density as compared with other portions without having the recess 31B. Even in this case, the thin portion 31 becomes softer than the other portions and becomes a flexible portion at the dorsal end portion of the absorber 3.

In FIG. 2, the recess 31B is arranged on the skin contact surface side of the thin-walled absorbing portion 31A. In the present invention, the arrangement is not limited to this, and the recess 31B may be arranged on the non-skin contact surface side of the thin portion 31B. However, it is preferable that the recess 31 is on the skin contact surface side and opens toward the skin from the viewpoint of reducing the burden on the wearer's skin. That is, due to the contraction of the waist gather portion 5, the space of the recess 31B is contracted so that the thin-walled absorbing portion 31A has a convex shape toward the non-skin contact surface side, and the skin contact surface of the diaper 10 wraps the wearer's body. It becomes such a gentle skin contact. Further, the recess 31 increases or decreases the space of the recess 31B due to the movement of the wearer's body and becomes an air passage or an exhaust passage, which contributes to the reduction of stuffiness inside the diaper 10.

As another specific example of the embodiment in which the thin-walled portion 31 has the absorber material, there is an embodiment including a two-layer portion as shown in FIG. In this aspect, the absorber 3 is composed of a laminate of a skin-side absorbing layer 38 and a non-skin-side absorbing layer 39 narrower than the skin-side absorbing layer 38. In the portion where the two layers overlap, the skin-side absorbing layer 38 has a plurality of skin-side through holes 31C in the width direction, and the non-skin-side absorbing layer 39 closes the non-skin-side contact surface side thereof. The portion of the non-skin side absorbing portion 39 that closes the skin side through hole 31C becomes the thin-walled absorbing portion 31A in the entire absorber 3. The thin-walled absorbing portion 31A and the skin-side through hole 31C form a thin-walled portion 31. The portion of the two-layer portion adjacent to the thin-walled portion 31 is the thick-walled portion 32. On the other hand, both side portions including only one layer (skin side absorption layer 38) have a single layer through hole 31D and a single layer thick portion 32.
In this aspect, in the central portion in the width direction arranged in the vicinity of the wearer's spine, the absorption capacity can be secured in the two-layer portion to cope with liquid leakage from the vicinity of the spine. On the other hand, in the vicinity of both side edges in the width direction, the deformability is enhanced by a portion composed of only one layer of the skin side absorption layer 38. As a result, along with the elasticity of the dorsal region R of the diaper 10 described above, the liquid absorption capacity on the dorsal side, particularly in the central portion in the width direction where the liquid easily leaks, can be further increased.
Further, in this embodiment, the width, length, number, and the like of the thin-walled portion 31 are widened according to the degree of deformation of the undulating shape of the wearer's skin surface while maintaining the absorption capacity of the absorber 3. .. For example, the width, length, number, and the like of the thin-walled portions 31 can be increased on both sides of the back side portion 3R of the absorber on the outer sides in the width direction to further enhance the deformability of the outer portions on both sides. The above setting of the thin-walled portion 31 can set a desired combination of deformability and absorption capacity by varying the two-layer portion and the one-layer portion. As a result, expansion and contraction can be suppressed in the vicinity of the center of the dorsal region R of the diaper 10 in the width direction, which comes into contact with the vicinity of the spine where the undulating shape of the wearer's skin surface is less deformed, and the fit to the skin can be further maintained. Then, the diaper 10 has high elasticity on both sides in the width direction of the dorsal region R, which abuts on the soft parts of the skin from both sides of the spine to the flanks, and keeps fitting by suppressing the gap according to the change in posture. Can be done.

Further, as a specific example of the embodiment in which the thin-walled portion 31 does not have an absorber material, as shown in FIG. 4, a configuration in which the thin-walled portion 31 is composed of a single-layer through hole 31D can be mentioned. As a result, the rigidity of the dorsal portion 3R of the absorber is further reduced, and the elasticity of the dorsal region R of the diaper 10 is further improved. Further, since the thin-walled absorbing portion 31A according to the aspect of FIG. 2 is not provided, the space of the thin-walled portion 31 tends to be narrowed when the waist gathered portion 5 is contracted, and the thick-walled portions 32 are in closer contact with each other to improve the coordination of liquid drawing. Further increase. At the same time, the capillary force in the space narrowed by the thin-walled portion 31 works more strongly to further enhance the drawing property of the liquid.

As another specific example of the embodiment in which the thin-walled portion 31 does not have the absorber material, there is an embodiment including a two-layer portion as shown in FIG. In this aspect, the absorber 3 is composed of a laminate of a skin-side absorbing layer 38 and a non-skin-side absorbing layer 39 narrower than the skin-side absorbing layer 38.
In the portion where the two layers overlap, the thin-walled portion 31 includes a skin-side through hole 31C of the skin-side absorption layer 38 and a non-skin-side through hole 31E of the non-skin-side absorption layer 39 communicating with the skin-side through hole 31C. The portion of the two-layer structure adjacent to the thin portion 31 is the thick portion 32. On the other hand, both side portions composed of only one layer (skin side absorption layer 38) have a single layer through hole 31D and a thick portion 32.
In this aspect, the rigidity of the dorsal portion 3R of the absorber is further reduced by the communication of the two through holes while maintaining the liquid absorption capacity of the two layers. As a result, the above-mentioned action in the dorsal region R of the diaper 10 becomes more excellent.
In addition, in this embodiment, it is preferable that the width (length in the width direction) L2 of the non-skin side through hole 31E is wider than the width (length in the width direction) L1 of the skin side through hole 31D. As a result, when the diaper 10 is expanded and contracted when worn, the skin-side through-hole 31D and the non-skin-side through-hole 31E tend to remain overlapped. As a result, the entire absorber 3 can easily expand and contract even in various mounting states. In addition, the non-skin side through hole 31E from the skin side absorption layer 38 to the non-skin side absorption layer 39 can easily spread the liquid and improve the absorption rate. Further, the flexible region of the non-skin side through hole 31E located on the outer periphery of the skin side through hole 31D is widened, the outer waist gather portion 5 is easily expanded and contracted, and the elasticity of the dorsal region R of the diaper 10 is increased. Further enhance. On the other hand, the space of the skin-side through hole 31D tends to be narrowed due to the contraction of the waist gather portion 5, and the adhesion between the thick portions 32 is enhanced, so that the liquid drawing property is further improved. As described above, in the aspect of FIG. 5, the liquid drawing property (absorption performance) and the fit property can be further improved.

In the diaper 10 of the present embodiment, the thin-walled portion 31 is not limited to the above-mentioned specific example, and may include various aspects other than the above-mentioned specific example, which have a smaller basis weight than the surroundings and exert the above-mentioned action. Regardless of the mode of the thin-walled portion 31, the shape and arrangement of the thin-walled portion 31 can be set according to the degree of deformation of the undulating shape of the skin surface of the wearer as described in the aspect of FIG. preferable.

For example, as shown in FIG. 1, it is preferable that the thick portion 32 (32A) is arranged instead of the thin portion 31 in the central portion in the width direction of the back side portion 3R of the absorber corresponding to the spine of the wearer. .. The thick portion 32A is a portion having a predetermined width to the left and right from the width direction center line T shown by the alternate long and short dash line in FIG. In this case, a plurality of thin-walled portions 31 are arranged from both sides of the thick-walled portion 32A toward the outside in the width direction. As a result, the thick portion 32A having high absorbency continues to fit in the vicinity of the spine where the undulating shape of the wearer's skin surface is less deformed, and the absorption of the liquid flowing through the spine is enhanced to suppress liquid leakage. On the other hand, in the soft portion from both sides of the spine where the undulating shape of the wearer's skin surface is greatly deformed to the flank, the thick portion 32 of the absorber 3 follows the skin while the plurality of thin portion 31 is deformed. Keep fitting. As a result, the fit around the waist is improved and the liquid leakage prevention property is improved. Such an arrangement is particularly effective in preventing liquid leakage during bedtime of a wearer who uses an adult diaper that also uses a urine absorbing pad. That is, the thick portion 32A located in the center of the back can absorb the urine spilled from the urine collecting pad and prevent leakage from the back. Moreover, it is difficult for a gap to be formed even in the vicinity of the flank following a slight movement of the wearer, and leakage is effectively prevented.

The ratio of the width (length in the width direction) K (see FIG. 6) of the thick portion 32A corresponding to the vicinity of the spine to the width (length in the width direction) of the dorsal end 35 of the dorsal part 3R of the absorber is From the viewpoint of adhesion to the wearer's spine and leakage prevention, 0.15 or more is preferable, 0.18 or more is more preferable, and 0.20 or more is further preferable. Further, the ratio is preferably 0.55 or less, more preferably 0.50 or less, still more preferably 0.45 or less, from the viewpoint of ensuring the fit and followability to the soft portions on both sides of the wearer's spine. ..

Further, for the same reason as described above, the distance (pitch) between the thin-walled portions 31 and the entire width (length in the width direction) of each thin-walled portion 31 are set to the central portion in the width direction and the outer portions on both sides of the back side portion 3R of the absorber. It may be different from. The distance (pitch) between the thin-walled portions 31 referred to here is the center point 31M between the dorsal end portions 318 and 318 of the side edges 317 and 317 of the thin-walled portion 31 and the center point 31M of the other thin-walled portions 31 adjacent to each other. The distance W between them (see FIG. 6). The width of the thin portion 31 is the length H between the dorsal end portions 318 and 318 of the side edges 317 and 317.
For example, as a mode in which the intervals (pitch) between the thin-walled portions 31 are different, as shown in FIG. 7A, the interval W2 on the outer side in the width direction is relatively narrower than the interval W1 on the central side in the width direction. Can be mentioned. As the overall arrangement, for example, as shown in FIG. 8A, the distance between the plurality of thin-walled portions 31 becomes narrower from the center line T in the width direction toward the outside in the width direction. In this case, the number of thin-walled portions 31 on the outer side in the width direction is larger than the number of thin-walled portions 31 on the central side in the width direction due to the difference in spacing. As a result, the absorber 3 and the waist gather portion 5 expand and contract in small steps toward the outside on both sides, and it becomes easier to suppress the occurrence of gaps with respect to the undulations of the wearer's skin surface.
Further, for example, as a mode in which the width (length in the width direction) of each thin-walled portion 31 is different, as shown in FIG. 7B, the width H2 on the outer side in the width direction is larger than the width H1 on the center side in the width direction. Is relatively wide. As the overall arrangement, for example, as shown in FIG. 8B, the width of each thin-walled portion 31 increases from the center line T in the width direction to the outside in the width direction. In this case, the expansion and contraction increases toward the outside on both sides, and it is possible to cope with a large deformation of the undulating shape of the wearer's skin surface.
Further, the aspects of FIGS. 8 (A) and 8 (B) may be combined as in the embodiment of FIG. 8 (C).

In addition, as in the aspect of FIG. 8D, the length M in the longitudinal direction of the thin wall portion 31 may be made longer on the outer side in the width direction than on the central side in the width direction. As a result, the dorsal portion 3R of the absorber is greatly deformed from the central side to the outer side on both sides, and the elasticity of the dorsal region R of the diaper 10 is increased.

It is preferable that the ventral end of each thin portion 31 in the longitudinal direction has a length that does not reach the inseam region C of the absorber 3 and falls within the range of the dorsal region R. This makes it possible to prevent the liquid from flowing directly from the inseam region C to the dorsal region C.

Further, it is preferable that the ventral end portion of each thin-walled portion 31 in the longitudinal direction extends ventral to the ventral end portion of the waist gather portion 5. By making the deformed portion of the back side portion 3R of the absorber longer than the waist gather portion 5 in this way, the elasticity of the waist gather portion 5 can be prevented from being restricted by the back side portion 3R of the absorber.

In the present embodiment, since the thin-walled portion 31 has a width in the width direction (length H between the dorsal end portions 318 and 318 of both side edges 317 and 317), unlike a slit having no width, it easily shrinks, as described above. It is preferable from the viewpoint of action. This width cannot be unequivocally determined because it varies depending on the size and use of the diaper. In the case of adult diapers, the width H of the thin portion 31 is preferably 5 mm or more, more preferably 8 mm or more, still more preferably 10 mm or more, from the viewpoint of flexibility and elasticity. Further, the width H is preferably 40 mm or less, more preferably 35 mm or less, still more preferably 30 mm or less, from the viewpoint of fit around the waist and prevention of leakage. Even when the widths are different as shown in FIG. 7B, it is preferable that the widths are set within the above range.
Further, the ratio of the total width of the width (length H in the width direction) of each thin wall portion 31 to the entire width (length in the width direction) of the dorsal end portion 35 of the absorber 3 is the fit at the time of mounting. From the viewpoint of the amount of movement of the expansion and contraction length, 0.10 or more is preferable, 0.15 or more is more preferable, and 0.18 or more is further preferable. Further, the ratio is preferably 0.45 or less, preferably 0.40 or less, from the viewpoint of suppressing an excessive expansion / contraction length so as not to interfere with the ease of applying the disposable diaper and maintaining the absorbability at the dorsal end. The following is more preferable, and 0.37 or less is further preferable.
Further, the ratio of the longitudinal length of each thin portion 31 to one-third of the longitudinal length of the absorber 3 maintains the fit on the dorsal side of the absorber and absorbs on the dorsal side of the absorber. From the viewpoint of maintaining the attraction of the urine to the central portion of the absorber, 0.15 or more is preferable, 0.18 or more is more preferable, and 0.20 or more is further preferable. The ratio is preferably 0.90 or less, preferably 0.85 or less, from the viewpoint of preventing the diffusion of the liquid from the lower part of the crotch of the absorber to the dorsal side and preventing the absorber from twisting or breaking at the lower part of the crotch. The following is more preferable, and 0.80 or less is further preferable.
In addition, the ratio of the length in the longitudinal direction in which the waist gather portions 5 overlap to the length in the longitudinal direction of each thin-walled portion 31 is preferably 0.25 or more from the viewpoint of effectively maintaining the elasticity of the thin-walled portion 31. , 0.30 or more is more preferable, and 0.35 or more is further preferable. Further, the ratio is preferably 0.90 or less from the viewpoint that when the length of the inseam side of the thin-walled portion 31 is greatly exceeded, the absorber that is not the thin-walled portion tends to cause shrinkage wrinkles due to the expansion and contraction of gathers and prevents the occurrence of discomfort. , 0.85 or less is more preferable, and 0.80 or less is further preferable.
Further, in the back side portion 3R of the absorber, the basis weight of the absorber material in the entire region where a plurality of thin-walled portions 31 are arranged in the width direction (region in the width direction in which the thin-walled portion 31 and the thick-walled portion 32 are combined) is the liquid absorption capacity. From the viewpoint of securing, 150 g / m 2 or more is preferable, 200 g / m 2 or more is more preferable, and 240 g / m 2 or more is further preferable. Also, the basis weight, in terms of fit and flexibility, preferably 800 g / m 2 or less, more preferably 750 g / m 2 or less, 700 g / m 2 or less is more preferable.

As described above, the thin-walled portion 31 has a deformability as a flexible portion because the basis weight of the absorber material is smaller than the others. From the viewpoint of this deformability, when the thin-walled portion 31 has the thin-walled absorbing portion 31A, it is preferable that the thin-walled absorbing portion 31A is not a compressed embossed portion. That is, it is preferable that the thin-walled absorbing portion 31A has a lower density than the other portions, in other words, the thin-walled absorbing portion 31A has a lower density than the other portions. If the thin-walled absorbing portion 31A is a high-density embossed portion, the rigidity of the thin-walled portion 31 may increase and the deformability may decrease. Therefore, it is preferable that the thin-walled portion 31 is not an embossed portion (high-density portion). However, a partially embossed portion may be included to the extent that the flexibility is not impaired.
Further, from the same viewpoint, when the thin-walled portion 31 has at least one of the above-mentioned through holes 31C to E, it is preferable that the through hole is not a punched portion of the absorber 3. It is preferable that the absorber material is a space portion remaining without being stacked. When the through hole is a punched portion, the adjacent wall surface of the through hole becomes denser than other portions, the rigidity is increased, and the deformability of the thin portion 31 may be reduced. Therefore, it is preferable that the through hole is not a punched portion of the absorber 3 and has a lower density than other portions of the adjacent wall surface of the through hole.
Further, when the absorber 3 is composed of a fiber stack of the absorber material and a core wrap sheet covering the absorbent body 3, the basis weight of the adhesive for joining the thin portion 31 and the core wrap sheet is increased in order to prevent breakage and twisting. , It is preferable that the basis weight of the adhesive for joining the absorber material and the core wrap sheet in the crotch portion is larger than the basis weight and the adhesive area is large. For example, the adhesive coating method can be applied in a striped manner using a coater in addition to the spiral slab.

Further, the thin-walled portion 31 may have a mode in which the thickness of the absorber 3 does not change as long as the basis weight of the absorber material is smaller than the others. For example, as described above, there is no recess 31B, and the density is simply sparse. In addition, when the absorber 3 is composed of a fiber stack of the absorber material and a core wrap sheet covering the fiber (not shown), only the fiber stack of the absorber material in the thin portion 31 is dented and the core wrap sheet is dented. It may not be in the form. The core wrap sheet is preferable because the skin contact surface side of the absorber 3 comes into surface contact with the surface sheet 1 and the liquid can be easily drawn into the absorber 3. The core wrap sheet is preferably a hydrophilic sheet, and those used as diaper materials such as thin paper (tissue) and hydrophilic non-woven fabric can be used.

The deformation of the thin-walled portion 31 (expansion and contraction of the absorber 3) occurs with the expansion and contraction of the waist gather portion 5. When the diaper is worn, the waist gather portion 5 is extended by propagating a tensile force outward in the width direction (directions indicated by arrows X3 and X3 in FIG. 1) of the pair of left and right fastening tapes 18 and 18. As a result, the diaper 10 fits the skin around the wearer's waist when worn. From the viewpoint of effective propagation of the tensile force of the fastening tape 18, the tape base 19 for fixing the fastening tape 18 is preferably arranged so as to overlap the waist gather portion 5 in the longitudinal direction of the diaper 10. Further, it is more preferable that the ventral end of the tape base 19 extends ventral to the ventral end of the waist gather portion 5. By extending to the ventral side, the dorsal region R of the diaper 10 can be fan-shaped, with the portion of the tape base 19 located ventral to the waist gather portion 5 as the non-stretchable base portion. At the same time, the back side portion 3R of the absorber expands in a fan shape due to the deformation of the plurality of thin-walled portions 31 arranged in the width direction described above. As a result, when the diaper 10 is worn, the fit of the dorsal region R of the diaper 10 including the dorsal portion 3R of the absorber to the skin is enhanced. Further, at that time, the inseam region C of the diaper 10 is less likely to be deformed more than necessary, and the wearability to the inseam of the wearer is improved. In particular, when used in combination with a urine absorbing pad, the urine absorbing pad placed on the surface sheet 1 is less likely to be displaced and the wearability is improved.

Further, the elastic member 51 of the waist gather portion 5 is preferably located between the absorber 3 and the back surface sheet 2 in the thickness direction. As a result, the elastic force of the elastic member can be easily propagated directly to the thin portion 31 of the absorber 3, and the deformability of the absorber 3 and the fit of the absorber 3 to the skin can be enhanced.

In addition, the waist gather portion 5 preferably extends outward in the width direction rather than the plurality of thin-walled portions 31 arranged in the width direction. As a result, the entire dorsal portion 3R of the absorber including the thin-walled portion 31 and the thick-walled portion 32 can be expanded and contracted.

Further, it is preferable that the waist gather portion 5 extends outward in the longitudinal direction from the position where it overlaps with the thin-walled portion 31 to the back side portion 3R of the absorber. As a result, the waist gather portion 5 provides the absorber 3 and the non-rigid sheet laminated region (the laminated region of the front sheet 1, the back sheet 2 and the side sheet 4 without the absorber 3 intervening) R1. It can be expanded and contracted integrally. As a result, the fit of the entire dorsal region R of the diaper 10 to the skin is further enhanced.

Various preferred embodiments of the dorsal region R of the diaper 10 described above can be appropriately selected and used in combination.

In the diaper 10 of the present embodiment, a plurality of thin-walled portions 31 are arranged side by side in the width direction also in the ventral region F of the absorber 3. That is, the same effect as that of the dorsal region R described above can be obtained in the ventral region F of the diaper 10, and the fit of the entire annular waist circumference, the followability to the skin, and the liquid leakage prevention property are improved. Further, also in the thin portion 31 of the ventral region F, the above-mentioned various preferred embodiments can be arbitrarily combined and adopted.

Next, the constituent members of the diaper 10 will be described. As the material for forming the front surface sheet 1, the back surface sheet 2, the absorber 3, and the side sheet 4 described above, those used for ordinary absorbent articles can be used.
The surface sheet 1 is made of a member that is soft to the touch and permeable to liquid, and for example, a hydrophilic non-woven fabric is preferable. Specific examples thereof include air-through non-woven fabrics, point-bonded non-woven fabrics, spunbonded non-woven fabrics, spunlaced non-woven fabrics, and non-woven fabrics called three-dimensional shaped non-woven fabrics. The fibers of the non-woven fabric are preferably polypropylene single fibers, polypropylene-polyethylene composite fibers, polyethylene terephthalate-polyethylene composite fibers, or the like that have been hydrophilized. Further, a hydrophilic perforated film or a hydrophilic non-woven fabric may be partially laminated on the inseam portion of the surface sheet 1 on the non-skin contact surface side of the surface sheet 1. The basis weight of the topsheet 1 is preferably 15 g / m 2 or more, 18 g / m 2 or more, and preferably 50 g / m 2 or less, 40 g / m 2 or less is more preferable. When fibers with different hydrophilicity are used, the hydrophilicity on the skin side is lower than the hydrophilicity on the non-skin side, and the capillary force against urine is higher on the non-skin side surface than on the skin side surface, from the surface side. It is preferable in that it enhances absorbability.

The back sheet 2 is not particularly limited as long as it is waterproof and has moisture permeability. From the viewpoint of preventing liquid leakage on the non-skin contact surface side of the absorber 3, a liquid impervious member can be mentioned. For example, a hydrophobic thermoplastic resin and a minute inorganic filler made of calcium carbonate or the like or an incompatible organic polymer are melt-kneaded to form a film, and the film is uniaxially or biaxially stretched. Examples thereof include a liquid-impermeable porous film. Examples of the thermoplastic resin include polyolefins. Examples of the polyolefin include high-density to low-density polyethylene, linear low-density polyethylene, polypropylene, polybutene and the like, and these can be used alone or in combination. Further, from the viewpoint of preventing stuffiness, it is preferable to have moisture permeability. Further, it is more preferable that the composite sheet is a porous film and a non-woven fabric bonded together with an adhesive.

As the absorber 3, as long as it has liquid absorbency and liquid retention, those usually used for absorbent articles can be used. For example, a fiber aggregate or a combination thereof with a water-absorbing polymer may be mentioned. Examples of the fibers constituting the fiber aggregate include hydrophilic natural fibers such as pulp fibers and synthetic fibers (preferably those subjected to hydrophilic treatment). Examples of the pulp fiber include wood pulp such as coniferous kraft pulp and broadleaf kraft pulp, and natural cellulose fiber such as non-wood pulp such as cotton pulp and straw pulp. In addition, monofibers made of polyofylene-based resins such as polyethylene and polypropylene, polyester-based resins such as polyethylene terephthalate, and synthetic resins such as polyvinyl alcohol resin, composite fibers containing two or more of these resins, and semi-synthetic fibers such as acetate and rayon. The fiber may be partially contained. The basis weight is not particularly limited, but it is preferably 50% or more and 90% or less of the basis weight of the entire absorber material described above. As the water-absorbent polymer, various polymer materials usually used for this kind of article can be used. The water-absorbent polymer is preferably a superabsorbent polymer compound having the ability to absorb and retain water having a weight of 100 times or more or physiological saline having a weight of 20 times or more. The basis weight of the absorbent polymer is not particularly limited, but is preferably 20% or more and 60% or less of the basis weight of the entire absorbent material described above.
Further, the surface of the fiber aggregate or a combination of the fiber aggregate and the water-absorbent polymer may be coated with a core wrap sheet. Examples of the material for forming the core wrap sheet include a hydrophilic sheet. For example, thin paper (thin leaf paper) such as hydrophilic tissue paper, crepe paper, non-woven fabric made of hydrophilic fibers such as cotton and rayon, non-woven fabric made by hydrophilizing synthetic resin fibers, for example, air-through non-woven fabric, points. A non-woven fabric made of a bonded non-woven fabric, a spunlaced non-woven fabric, a spunbond non-woven fabric, a spunbond-melt blown-spunbond (SMS) non-woven fabric and the like can be used.

As the side sheet 4, a water-repellent non-woven fabric is preferable. Examples thereof include water-repellent non-woven fabrics having high water resistance such as spunbond-melt blown-spanbond laminated non-woven fabric (SMS non-woven fabric) and spunbond-melt blown-melt blown-spunbond non-woven fabric (SMMS non-woven fabric). Further, a laminate of a non-woven fabric such as a spunbonded non-woven fabric and a spunbonded non-woven fabric and a moisture-permeable or non-breathable resin film can be mentioned.

As the elastic member 51 constituting the waist gather portion 5, as long as it has elasticity, those used for absorbent articles can be adopted without particular limitation. For example, as described above, it may be composed of a plurality of thread-like members or may be a sheet-like member. Further, the back surface sheet itself may be composed of an elastic sheet. For example, synthetic rubber such as styrene-butadiene, butadiene, isoprene, neoprene, natural rubber, ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA), stretchable polyolefin, polyurethane and the like can be mentioned. The form of the elastic member is a thread-like (thread rubber, etc.), a string-like (flat rubber, etc.), or a multifilament type thread-like having a rectangular, square, circular, oval, or polygonal cross section.
