Description
This specification discloses technology relating to a fuel cell vehicle equipped with a hydrogen tank.
The fuel cell vehicle is configured to be able to accept hydrogen gas replenishment from a hydrogen filling device installed at a hydrogen station. For example, Patent Document 1 discloses such a fuel cell vehicle. The fuel cell vehicle has a hydrogen tank that stores hydrogen gas, a hydrogen filling port that can be connected to the filling nozzle of the hydrogen filling device, and a hydrogen introduction pipe that introduces hydrogen gas from the hydrogen filling port into the hydrogen tank. I have. On the hydrogen filling port side of the hydrogen introduction pipe, a check valve on the filling port side is provided to prevent backflow of hydrogen gas to the hydrogen filling port. Further, the hydrogen introduction pipe is provided with a pressure sensor for measuring the pressure inside the hydrogen introduction pipe. As the amount of hydrogen gas in the hydrogen tank increases, so does the pressure required to fill the hydrogen tank with more hydrogen gas. That is, the filling amount of hydrogen gas in the hydrogen tank can be obtained from the pressure (measured pressure) measured by the pressure sensor. The filling amount of hydrogen gas depends on the gas pressure and the gas temperature to be exact, but in the present specification, the influence of the temperature is ignored.
The fuel cell vehicle disclosed in Patent Document 1 includes a transmitter that transmits a measured pressure to a hydrogen filling device. The station estimates the amount of hydrogen gas filled in the hydrogen tank based on the measured pressure received. The hydrogen filling device stops the supply of hydrogen gas when the filling amount of hydrogen gas exceeds a predetermined threshold value. That is, the hydrogen filling device stops the supply of hydrogen gas when the measured pressure exceeds a predetermined upper limit pressure. In the fuel cell vehicle disclosed in Patent Document 1, the pressure sensor is provided on the hydrogen tank side of the check valve on the filling port side.
Further, in the technique disclosed in Patent Document 1, the fuel cell vehicle is not configured to receive information from the hydrogen filling device. That is, the fuel cell vehicle does not receive information from the hydrogen filling device notifying that the supply of hydrogen gas has ended. The fuel cell vehicle is equipped with an open / close sensor that detects the opening / closing of the filling port lid (lid) that covers the hydrogen filling port. When the filling port lid is closed, it is determined that the hydrogen gas has been filled and the transmitter is stopped. ..
For example, if the user leaves the field during filling of hydrogen gas, the filling nozzle of the hydrogen filling device remains connected to the hydrogen filling port even though the filling is completed. The communicator continues to transmit the measured pressure because the filler lid remains open. It is a waste of electricity to continue communication even though the filling of hydrogen gas is completed. There is a demand for a technique for immediately stopping communication when the filling of hydrogen gas is completed without detecting the opening / closing of the filling port lid.
The fuel cell vehicle disclosed herein is configured to accept hydrogen gas replenishment from a hydrogen filling device. This fuel cell vehicle is equipped with a hydrogen tank, a hydrogen filling port, a hydrogen introduction pipe, a check valve on the filling port side, a pressure sensor, a transmitter, and a controller. The hydrogen tank stores hydrogen gas. The hydrogen filling port is configured to be connectable to a hydrogen filling device. The hydrogen introduction pipe is a pipe that guides hydrogen gas from the hydrogen filling port to the hydrogen tank. The check valve on the filling port side is provided in the hydrogen introduction pipe to prevent the backflow of hydrogen gas to the hydrogen filling port. The pressure sensor measures the pressure between the hydrogen filling port and the check valve on the filling port side in the hydrogen introduction pipe. The transmitter transmits the pressure measured by the pressure sensor (measured pressure) to the hydrogen filling device. The controller stops the transmission of the measured pressure by the transmitter when the measured pressure falls below a predetermined threshold pressure while the transmitter is transmitting the measured pressure. Here, the "predetermined threshold pressure" is set to a value slightly higher than the atmospheric pressure. When the measured pressure exceeds a predetermined upper limit pressure, the hydrogen filling device determines that the filling is full and stops the supply of hydrogen gas. Then, the pressure drops to atmospheric pressure on the hydrogen filling port side of the check valve on the filling port side of the hydrogen introduction pipe. The measured pressure also drops to atmospheric pressure. That is, when the measured pressure falls below the threshold pressure slightly higher than the atmospheric pressure after the hydrogen gas filling is started, the hydrogen gas supply is stopped. The controller detects that the supply of hydrogen gas is stopped based on the measured value of the pressure sensor and stops the communication. Therefore, it is possible to prevent wasteful power consumption due to unnecessary communication.
Details of the techniques disclosed herein and further improvements will be described in the "Modes for Carrying Out the Invention" below.
FIG. 1 is an explanatory diagram showing the configuration of the
The
The
The
The
The
The
At the time of filling with hydrogen gas, the
The
The
The process of filling the
As is well known, there is a unique relationship between the volume of gas and the gas temperature and pressure. That is, a unique relationship is established between the internal pressure and temperature of the
The filling control process will be described with reference to FIG. FIG. 2 is a flowchart showing a filling control process executed by the
When the process of FIG. 2 is started, the
次に制御器600は、圧力センサ522を使って圧力Pa(充填口側逆止弁524よりも水素充填口510の側の圧力)を計測する(ステップS3)。
Next, the
The
The
According to the process of FIG. 2, the
The points to be noted regarding the technique described in the examples will be described. The process of step S4 in the flowchart of FIG. 2 may be a process of “pressure Pa> Pth2?”. As described above, the second threshold pressure Pth2 is set to a value slightly higher than the atmospheric pressure. This is because the pressure Pa is equal to the atmospheric pressure before the hydrogen gas filling is disclosed, and the pressure Pa exceeds the second threshold pressure Pth2 when the filling
According to the embodiment described above, the transmission by the
The
Although the embodiments have been described in detail above, these are merely examples and do not limit the scope of claims.
