Description

The present invention relates to a backrest for a chair and a chair provided with the backrest.

There is a chair with a backrest that supports the load on the back of the seated person. Chairs used for office work are required to have flexibility and fit in the part where the seated person's back contacts, and also to be robust enough to reliably receive a large load. In order to meet such demands, a chair is known in which a backrest body that directly receives a load input through the back of a seated person and a backrest support part that supports the backrest body from the back are made of separate members. (See, for example, Patent Document 1).

In the chair backrest described in Patent Document 1, the lower end of the front side of the backrest support is connected to the lower support base of the seat which is the support, and the backrest is backed to the front side of the upper rear side of the backrest support. The leaning body is supported. A convex shaft whose tip protrudes forward is provided on the front surface of the upper rear side of the backrest support, and the tip of the convex shaft is inserted and connected to the rear part of the backrest frame of the backrest body. The shaft cylinder member to be inserted is embedded. The tubular shaft member is fixed in the fitting hole of the backrest frame in a state where the tip end portion of the convex shaft is inserted and connected.

A shaft hole into which the tip of the convex shaft is inserted is formed in the tubular shaft member, and the peripheral wall of the shaft hole and the convex shaft are restricted from coming off by a retaining pin. Further, the convex shaft is formed with a locking hole into which a retaining pin is fitted, and the locking hole is tapered from both side portions in the axial direction of the hole toward the center. There is. For this reason, the convex shaft can be tilted with respect to the retaining pin locked to the tubular shaft member, and the backrest main body is allowed to slightly tilt with respect to the backrest support by this mechanism. There is.

Japanese Patent No. 5543117

The backrest for a chair described in Patent Document 1 is a state in which a convex shaft projecting from a backrest support is fitted into the rear portion of the backrest frame, and the backrest frame (backrest main body) is pulled out from the convex shaft. Is regulated by a retaining pin. In the case of this backrest for chairs, the retaining pin can be used to regulate the pulling out of the backrest body, but when a load is input to the backrest body in the direction along the load receiving surface, the axial direction of the pull-out control pin Shear stress may act in a direction substantially orthogonal to. Therefore, it is necessary to take measures to improve the durability of the member by increasing the strength of the pull-out control pin.

Therefore, the present invention has been made to provide a chair backrest and a chair that can regulate the pulling out of the backrest main body from the backrest support and suppress the action of a large shear stress on the constituent members. Is what you do.

The chair backrest according to the present invention adopts the following configuration in order to solve the above problems.
That is, the backrest for a chair according to the present invention includes a backrest main body that receives a load input through the back of the seated person and a backrest support that is connected to the backrest main body and supports the backrest main body. The first member, which is one member of the backrest main body and the backrest support, is provided with a locking protrusion, and the other of the backrest main body and the backrest support. The second member, which is a member, is provided with a recess into which the locking protrusion is fitted, and the locking protrusion is provided adjacent to the first large diameter portion and the first large diameter portion. The second member has a small diameter portion having an outer diameter smaller than that of the first large diameter portion and a second large diameter portion provided adjacent to the small diameter portion and having an outer diameter larger than that of the small diameter portion. In the inside of the recess, the first large diameter portion and the second large diameter portion are in contact with the end faces in the axial direction facing each other, and are elastically displaced in the radial direction with respect to the outer peripheral surface of the small diameter portion. A pull-out restricting portion that comes into contact with each other is supported, and the pull-out restricting portion is composed of a member separate from the second member and has a locking fixing portion that is locked and fixed to the second member. and said that you are.

With the above configuration, in a state where the locking protrusion of the first member is fitted into the recess of the second member, the removal restricting portion is inside the recess and the first large diameter portion and the second locking protrusion of the locking protrusion. By abutting on the end faces of the large diameter portions facing each other in the axial direction, the removal of the recess from the locking protrusion is restricted. As a result, the backrest main body is restricted from coming off from the backrest support. Further, inside the recess, the pull-out restricting portion abuts on the outer peripheral surface of the small diameter portion of the locking protrusion so as to be elastically displaceable in the radial direction, whereby the locking protrusion is between the first member and the second member. When a load in a direction intersecting the protruding direction of the is input, the pull-out restricting portion is elastically displaced in the direction along the radial direction of the locking protrusion, and the input load is received by a buffering action during that time. This makes it difficult for shear stress to act on the pull-out control section and other members.

In this case, since the pull-out control portion is composed of a member separate from the second member, the locking protrusion on the first member side is fitted into the recess of the second member and then arranged in the recess. While confirming the position of the small diameter portion of the stopping protrusion, the pull-out regulating portion can be easily and appropriately engaged with the locking protrusion. Therefore, by adopting this configuration, the workability of assembling the backrest for a chair can be further improved.

The pull-out restricting portion may be configured to include an elastic member that is connected to the locking and fixing portion and is elastically contacted with the outer peripheral surface of the small diameter portion from a plurality of directions.
In this case, the retaining portion can be easily engaged with the locking protrusion by pushing the elastic member into the recess while elastically deforming the elastic member with respect to the small diameter portion while holding the locking fixing portion by hand. ..

The elastic member is composed of a locking claw, and the locking claw has a substantially constant plate thickness substantially equal to the separation distance between the first large-diameter portion and the second large-diameter portion facing each other. Then, the plate thickness direction may be matched with the protruding direction of the locking protrusion so that the end face of the first large diameter portion and the end face of the second large diameter portion come into contact with each other.
In this case, the plate thickness of the locking claw of the pull-out restricting portion is formed to be substantially constant, and the locking claw matches the plate thickness direction with the protruding direction of the locking protrusion to match the end surface of the first large diameter portion. Since it comes into contact with the end face of the second large diameter portion, the locking claw can be easily fitted between the end faces of the first large diameter portion and the second large diameter portion, and is interposed between the end faces of the locking claw. Since the volume of the portion to be formed can be increased, the load acting along the projecting direction of the locking protrusion can be advantageously received.

A pair of locking claws are extended from the locking fixing portion so as to be substantially parallel to each other, and each of the locking claws is provided with an arc surface that repels the outer peripheral surface of the small diameter portion. Is also good.
In this case, the arcuate surfaces formed on the pair of locking claws can receive loads in various directions acting on the outer peripheral surface of the small diameter portion with a buffering action.

The chair according to the present invention is characterized by having a backrest for any of the above chairs.

According to the present invention, inside the recess of the second member, a pull-out restricting portion is formed on the axially opposite end faces of the first large-diameter portion and the second large-diameter portion of the locking protrusion on the first member side. It is possible to prevent the backrest main body from coming off from the backrest support. Further, according to the present invention, the pull-out restricting portion on the first member side abuts on the outer peripheral surface of the small diameter portion of the locking protrusion so as to be elastically displaceable in the radial direction inside the recess of the second member. When a load in a direction intersecting the protruding direction of the locking protrusion is input between the first member and the second member, it is possible to suppress the action of shear stress on the pull-out restricting portion and other members. it can.

Further, convex portions 22 are formed at the upper ends of the standing portions 72a of the left and right main frames 72 so as to be inserted and arranged inside the corresponding concave portions 18 on the left and right of the connecting frame 73. The convex portion 22 projects upward from a position closer to the outside in the chair width direction on the upper end surface of the upright portion 72a. The convex portion 22 is formed to have a width narrower than the separation width of the pair of side walls 18a and 18b of the concave portion 18, and the pair of side walls 18a, such that the width direction faces the inner surfaces of the side walls 18a and 18b. It is designed to be placed between 18b. The convex portion 22 is actually arranged in the concave portion 18 in a state where one end surface in the width direction is in contact with one side wall 18a of the concave portion 18, and the width of the convex portion 22 in that state. A space portion S (see FIGS. 7 and 8) having a predetermined width is secured between the other end surface in the direction and the other side wall 18b of the concave portion 18. Further, the convex portion 22 is formed with a screw hole 23 penetrating in the width direction.

Further, at the tip of the upper connecting arm 69u extending above the backrest frame 75, an extension piece 24 having a predetermined width connected to the connecting portion between the main frame 72 and the connecting frame 73 is extended. .. The extension piece 24 is extended at a position biased inward in the chair width direction in the tip portion of the upper connecting arm 69u. The extension piece 24 is formed with an insertion hole 25 that penetrates in the width direction of the chair. The extending piece 24 is inserted into the space S between the other side wall 18b of the concave portion 18 and the convex portion 22.

The concave portion 18 of the connecting frame 73, the convex portion 22 of the main frame 72, and the extension piece 24 of the backrest frame 75 are connected by a bolt 19 which is a connecting member.
The bolt 19 is connected to the above-mentioned head 19a, a first shaft portion 19b having one end in the axial direction connected to the head 19a, and one end in the axial direction connected to the other end in the axial direction of the first shaft portion 19b. It has a second shaft portion 19c and the like. The first shaft portion 19b and the second shaft portion 19c are formed coaxially, and the first shaft portion 19b is formed to have a larger diameter than the second shaft portion 19c. On the outer peripheral surface of the first shaft portion 19b, a male screw is formed which is screwed across the screw hole 21 on one side wall of the concave shape portion 18 and the screw hole 23 of the convex shape portion 22. On the other hand, no male screw is formed on the outer peripheral surface of the second shaft portion 19c, and the second shaft portion 19c is inserted through the insertion hole 25 of the extension piece 24 with a gap.

The upper portion of the backrest main body 71 is assembled to the left and right main frames 72 and the connecting frame 73 of the backrest support 70 as follows.

First, the convex portions 22 of the corresponding main frames 72 on the left and right are inserted inside the concave portions 18 of the connecting frame 73, and in that state, the screw holes 21 of one side wall 18a of the concave portions 18 and the convex shape. The first shaft portion 19b of the bolt 19 is screwed into the screw hole 23 of the portion 22. At this time, when the second shaft portion 19c of the bolt 19 is first inserted into the screw holes 21 and 23 and the bolt 19 is tightened in that state, the tip of the second shaft portion 19c of the bolt 19 is a convex portion. Before protruding from the screw hole 23 of 22, the male screw portion of the first shaft portion 19b is screwed across one side wall 18a of the concave shape portion 18 and the convex shape portion 22. As a result, the relative positions of one side wall 18a and the convex portion 22 in the axial direction are fixed, and a space portion S having a predetermined width is secured between the other side wall 18b of the concave portion 18 and the convex portion 22. To.

Next, the corresponding extension piece 24 on the backrest main body 71 side is inserted inside the space portion S formed between the other side wall 18b of the concave shape portion 18 and the convex shape portion 22. In this state, the insertion hole 25 of the extension piece 24 is aligned with the screw hole 23 of the convex portion 22, and the tightening of the bolt 19 is restarted. In this way, when the bolt 19 is tightened, the second shaft portion 19c of the bolt 19 gradually protrudes from the convex portion 22 and is inserted into the insertion hole 25 of the extension piece 24. When the bolt 19 is completely tightened in this way, the extension piece 24 on the backrest main body 71 side is rotatably held by the second shaft portion 19c of the bolt 19. As a result, the upper portion of the backrest main body 71 is assembled to the connecting portion between the main frame 72 of the backrest support 70 and the connecting frame 73.

It has a small diameter portion 30B having a diameter smaller than that of the large diameter portion 30A, and a second large diameter portion 30C which is coaxially connected to the small diameter portion 30B and has the same diameter as the first large diameter portion 30A. The small diameter portion 30B is arranged between the first large diameter portion 30A and the second large diameter portion 30C in the axial direction of the fitting pin 28.

On the other hand, on the tip surface of the lower connecting arm 69l, the first recess 31 into which the locking block 27 on the backrest support 70 side is fitted and the locking head 30 of the fitting pin 28 are fitted. The second recess 32 to be formed is continuously formed. In the second recess 32, a first fitting portion 32a into which the first large diameter portion 30A of the fitting pin 28 is fitted and a second fitting portion 32c into which the second large diameter portion 30C of the fitting pin 28 is fitted are provided. It is formed coaxially.
In the case of the present embodiment, the recess into which the locking protrusion on the backrest support 70 side is fitted is composed of the first recess 31 and the second recess 32.

Further, in the region between the first fitting portion 32a and the second fitting portion 32c (the region where the small diameter portion 30B of the fitting pin 28 is inserted and arranged) in the inside of the second recess 32, a substantially rectangular shape is formed. An expansion space 35 is provided. The expansion space 35 surrounds the small diameter portion 30B of the fitting pin 28 inserted into the second recess 32 and the peripheral regions of the end faces of the first large diameter portion 30A and the second large diameter portion 30C that face each other. It is formed. In the second recess 32, a side opening 36 that opens the expansion space 35 on the inner side surface of the lower connecting arm 69l in the chair width direction is continuously provided. A locking recess 36a recessed in a stepped shape is provided on the peripheral edge of the side opening 36.

A resin-made pull-out regulating member 50 (pull-out regulating portion) for restricting the pull-out of the fitting pin 28 fitted in the second recess 32 is inserted into the side opening 36 of the lower connecting arm 69l. ing.
The pull-out control member 50 is a pair of a shielding wall 51 (locking fixing portion) that is locked in a locking recess 36a on the peripheral edge of the side opening 36 in a fitted state, and a pair that extends in a substantially orthogonal direction from the shielding wall 51. It has locking claws 52A and 52B. The locking claws 52A and 52B are formed in a plate shape having a constant thickness substantially equal to the separation distance between the end faces of the first large diameter portion 30A and the second large diameter portion 30C of the fitting pin 28 facing each other. They are arranged close to each other so as to be substantially parallel to each other. Arc surfaces 52A-1 and 52B-1 are formed on the side edges of the locking claws 52A and 52B that are close to each other and that are in contact with the outer peripheral surface of the small diameter portion 30B of the fitting pin 28. A gap is secured between the peripheral wall of the expansion space 35 and the locking claws 52A and 52B inserted in the expansion space 35.

The pull-out restricting member 50 is locked to the fitting pin 28 as follows when the lower connecting arm 69l is assembled to the main frame 72.
That is, when assembling the lower connecting arm 69l, the corresponding locking block 27 and the fitting pin 28 on the main frame 72 side are fitted into the first recess 31 and the second recess 32 on the tip surface of the lower connecting arm 69l. .. At this time, the first large diameter portion 30A and the second large diameter portion 30C of the fitting pin 28 are fitted into the first fitting portion 32a and the second fitting portion 32c in the second recess 32, respectively, and the small diameter portion 30B is It is arranged in the expansion space 35 in the second recess 32.

Next, from this state, a pair of locking claws 52A, 52B of the restricting member 50 are inserted into the expansion space 35 through the side opening 36 of the lower connecting arm 69l, and the arcuate surfaces 52A-1, 52B of the locking claws 52A, 52B. The 52B-1 is brought into contact with the outer peripheral surface of the small diameter portion 30B, and the edges of the arcuate surfaces 52A-1 and 52B-1 are attached to the end faces of the first large diameter portion 30A and the second large diameter portion 30C facing each other. Make a contact. As a result, the fitting pin 28 is restricted from coming off from the second recess 32 by the locking claws 52A and 52B. The pull-out restricting member 50 is locked and fixed to the lower connecting arm 69l by fitting the shielding wall 51 into the locking recess 36a of the side opening 36.
When the locking claws 52A and 52B of the pull-out restricting member 50 are locked to the fitting pin 28, the backrest main body 71 is displaced in the direction along the load receiving surface, and the lower connecting arm 69l is engaged with the fitting pin. Even if the locking claws 52A and 52B are displaced in the direction orthogonal to the axis with respect to 28, the locking claws 52A and 52B abut on the outer peripheral surface of the small diameter portion 30B and elastically displace, so that the input load can be received while being buffered.

As described above, in the backrest 7 according to the present embodiment, the locking block 27 and the fitting pin 28 are projected from the front portion of the main frame 72 of the backrest support 70, and the lower connecting arm of the backrest main body 71 is provided. The locking block 27 and the fitting pin 28 are fitted into the first recess 31 and the second recess 32 provided in 69l. The fitting pin 28 has a first large diameter portion 30A and a second large diameter portion 30C, and a small diameter provided between them and having an outer diameter smaller than that of the first large diameter portion 30A and the second large diameter portion 30C. The first large diameter portion 30A and the second large diameter portion of the fitting pin 28 are provided with the portion 30B and the pull-out restricting member 50 locked to the lower connecting arm 69l inside the second recess 32. It is in contact with the end faces of 30C facing each other and is in contact with the outer peripheral surface of the small diameter portion 30B so as to be elastically displaceable.
Therefore, in the backrest 7 according to the present embodiment, the pull-out restricting member 50 comes into contact with the end faces of the first large-diameter portion 30A and the second large-diameter portion 30C, so that the backrest support 70 comes from the main frame 72. In addition to being able to regulate the pulling out of the lower connecting arm 69l, the pulling out regulating member 50 abuts on the outer peripheral surface of the small diameter portion so that it can be elastically displaced, so that a load in a direction intersecting the axial direction of the fitting pin 28 is input. Occasionally, the pull-out restricting member 50 receives the load with a buffering action, and it is possible to suppress the action of shear stress on the pull-out regulating member 50 and other parts.

By the way, inside the second recess 32, the pull-out restricting portion engaged with the fitting pin 28 can be integrally formed with the lower connecting arm 69l, but in the backrest 7 according to the present invention, the lower portion is formed. A detachment regulating member 50 that is separate from the connecting arm 69l is provided, and a shielding wall 51 that also serves as a locking and fixing portion of the disconnecting regulating member 50 is locked to the side opening 36 of the lower connecting arm 69l.
Therefore, in the backrest 7 according to the present embodiment, after the fitting pin 28 is fitted into the second recess 32 of the lower connecting arm 69l, the position of the small diameter portion 30B of the fitting pin 28 is set to the side opening 36. The locking claws 52A and 52B of the pull-out restricting member 50 can be easily and appropriately engaged with the fitting pin 28 while visually checking through the fitting pin 28. Therefore, when this configuration is adopted, the backrest 7 can be assembled more efficiently.

Further, in the backrest 7 according to the present embodiment, the pull-out restricting member 50 is continuously provided on the shielding wall 51 which is the locking fixing portion, and elastically contacts the outer peripheral surface of the small diameter portion 30B of the fitting pin 28 from a plurality of directions. It is provided with locking claws 52A and 52B which are elastic members. Therefore, while holding the shielding wall 51 by hand, the locking claws 52A and 52B are pushed into the small diameter portion 30B in the second recess 32 while being elastically deformed, so that the pull-out regulating member 50 is pushed into the fitting pin 28. Can be easily engaged.

In particular, in the backrest 7 according to the present embodiment, the locking claws 52A and 52B of the pull-out restricting member 50 are substantially constant equal to the separation distance between the first large diameter portion 30A and the second large diameter portion 30C of the fitting pin 28. The plate thickness of the first large diameter portion 30A and the second large diameter portion 30C are brought into contact with each other by matching the plate thickness direction with the axial direction of the fitting pin 28. Therefore, the locking claws 52A and 52B can be easily fitted between the end faces of the first large diameter portion 30A and the second large diameter portion 30C, and the first large diameter of the locking claws 52A and 52B. Since a large volume of the portion interposed between the end faces of the portion 30A and the second large diameter portion 30C can be secured, the load acting along the axial direction of the fitting pin 28 (the load in the backrest pulling direction) is advantageous. I can take it.

Further, in the case of the backrest 7 according to the present embodiment, the small diameter of the fitting pin 28 is provided to the pair of locking claws 52A and 52B projecting from the shielding wall 51 of the pull-out restricting member 50 so as to be substantially parallel to each other. Since the arcuate surfaces 52A-1 and 52B-1 which are in contact with the outer peripheral surface of the portion 30B are provided, loads in various directions acting on the outer peripheral surface of the small diameter portion 30B through the arcuate surfaces 52A-1 and 52B-1 can be applied. It can be received with a buffering action.

The present invention is not limited to the above embodiment, and various design changes can be made without departing from the gist thereof. For example, in the above embodiment, the locking protrusion is provided on the backrest support 70 side, and the recess to be fitted into the locking protrusion is provided on the backrest main body 71 side.
