また、上記課題を解決するため本発明の一態様は、行方向および列方向に格子状に配列された複数の画素回路を有する表示部と、前記行方向に配列された前記複数の画素回路を前記列方向に走査して少なくとも走査信号を含む所定の制御信号を前記行毎に供給する走査線駆動回路であって、前記制御信号を生成する論理回路と、前記制御信号を前記画素回路に対して出力する出力回路とを少なくとも含むものと、前記画素回路及び前記出力回路に対して共通の第1動作電圧を供給する第1電源線と、前記論理回路に対して第2動作電圧を供給する第2電源線と、を備える。
上記構成によれば、電源数を減らすことができるとともに、画素回路のための第1電源線は、走査線駆動回路の論理回路のための第2電源線と分離され、表示ムラを抑制することができる。
また、本発明の一態様は、上記の電気光学装置であって、前記第1動作電圧は、前記画素回路を構成するトランジスタの基板電位として前記画素回路に供給される。
上記構成によれば、表示ムラを抑制することができる。
以下、本発明の第1の実施形態について図面を参照して説明する。図1は、本発明の第1の実施形態に係る電気光学装置の構成例を示す。電気光学装置1は、表示部10と、走査線駆動回路20と、データ線駆動回路30と、制御回路40と、電源回路50とを備える。これらの表示部10、走査線駆動回路20、データ線駆動回路30、電源回路50および温度センサー60は、例えばシリコン基板等の半導体基板上に形成されている。制御回路40の少なくとも一部は、シリコン基板等の半導体基板上に形成されてもよい。
次に、本発明の第2の実施形態について図8を参照して説明する。なお、図8において図1に示した構成と同一または同等の構成には同一の符号を付けている。図8は、本発明の第2の実施形態に係る電気光学装置1aの構成例を示す。電気光学装置1aは、表示回路71と、回路ブロック72と、外部基板74とを備える。表示回路71は、表示パネル等を構成し、回路ブロック72と端子部73の複数の接続端子とを含む。回路ブロック72は、図1に示した表示部10と、走査線駆動回路20と、データ線駆動回路30と、制御回路40と、電源回路50と、電源線51〜56とを含む。ただし、回路ブロック72は電源回路50の一部または全部の構成を含まず、外部基板74が電源回路50の一部または全部の構成を含んでいてもよい。
次に、本発明の第3の実施形態について図9を参照して説明する。なお、図9において図1に示した構成と同一または同等の構成には同一の符号を付けている。図9は、本発明の第3の実施形態に係る電気光学装置1bの構成例を示す。図9は、電気光学装置1bが有する各回路ブロックの領域および配置と各電源線の配置(レイアウト)を模式的に示した平面図である。電気光学装置1bは、半導体基板301上に、表示部10と、2か所に分割して配置されている走査線駆動回路20と、データ線駆動回路30と、制御回路40と、図示していない電源回路50と、電源線401〜408と電源線411〜417とを備える。ただし、第1の実施形態と異なり、電源回路50の一部または全部の構成は省略されていて、この場合、電圧VHHまたはVELと電圧VDDは、端子302および305と端子303および304を介して電気光学装置1bの外部から供給される。

前記行方向に配列された前記複数の画素回路を前記列方向に走査して少なくとも走査信号を含む所定の制御信号を前記行毎に供給し、前記制御信号を生成する論理回路と、前記制御信号を前記画素回路に対して出力する出力回路とを含む走査線駆動回路と、
前記画素回路に対して第1動作電圧を供給する第1電源線と、
前記走査線駆動回路に対して前記第1動作電圧と大きさが等しい第2動作電圧を供給し、前記第1電源線と離間して配置された第2電源線と、
前記出力回路に対して前記第1電源線から前記第1動作電圧を供給し、前記第2電源線と離間して配置された第3電源線と、
