Description
The present invention relates to a technique for conveying a work.
The following Patent Document 1 discloses a work transfer device (hereinafter, also simply referred to as “transfer device”) that transfers a work by utilizing vibration. This transfer device includes a cylindrical ball feeder having a spiral transfer groove, a linear feeder having a linear transfer groove communicating with the spiral transfer groove of the ball feeder, and a ball feeder below the ball feeder. And a vibration generator attached to the.
According to this transfer device, the plurality of workpieces loaded into the ball feeder are transferred in a state where the spiral transfer grooves are aligned by the vibration generated by the vibration generator, and then the linear transfer of the linear feeder is performed. It is transported with the grooves aligned with its ends.
In the above-mentioned transfer device, the width and depth of the transfer groove are set in advance, and basically, the transfer device can be used to transfer only the same work having the same shape. Therefore, in response to a request to transport a large number of workpieces of a plurality of types at a time, it is necessary to prepare a number of workpiece transport devices according to the type of workpieces and increase the output of the vibration generator. If the number of work transfer devices is increased and a large vibration generator with high output is used, the installation area of the entire equipment may increase.
The present invention has been made in view of such conventional problems, and an object of the present invention is to provide a compact work transfer device capable of transferring a large number of works of a plurality of types at once.

One aspect of the present invention is
A conveyor belt having a plurality of locking protrusions capable of locking a plurality of different types of works,
An image detection device for detecting images of the plurality of works locked by the plurality of locking projections of the conveyor belt,
A picking robot having one work holding unit common to the plurality of works for taking out the works from the conveyor belt;
A control device for controlling the picking robot based on a detection image detected by the image detection device,
Equipped with
The plurality of workpieces has a circular lid portion, and a cylindrical portion extending from the back surface of the lid portion and having an outer diameter smaller than the outer diameter of the lid portion, and each of the lid portion and the cylindrical portion. The outer diameters are different from each other,
The plurality of locking projections of the conveyor belt are arranged in a staggered arrangement, and the space surrounded by the three locking projections adjacent to each other has a size that allows the cylindrical portions of the plurality of workpieces to enter. It is a locking space that has,
The control device, when the plurality of workpieces are supplied to the conveyor belt, based on the detection image of each of the plurality of workpieces, in a proper posture that can be easily taken out by the picking robot from among the plurality of workpieces. There is a work transfer device for discriminating a certain work together with its type and outputting a drive signal to the picking robot so as to take it out from the conveyor belt.
In the above aspect, when a plurality of works of different types are randomly supplied to the conveyor belt, the plurality of works are locked by the plurality of locking protrusions of the conveyor belt and are transferred on the work transfer surface. Therefore, according to this conveyor belt, a plurality of types of randomly mixed works can be transported at once, and it is not necessary to prepare a plurality of work transport devices for each type of work. In this way, since one conveyor belt also serves to convey a plurality of types of works, the apparatus can be made compact as compared with the case of using a plurality of work conveying devices prepared for each type of works, and the entire equipment The installation area can be kept small.
The respective works locked by the plurality of locking projections of the conveyor belt are transported in a stable state in which positional deviation is unlikely to occur on the work transport surface. Therefore, the image detection device can accurately detect the image of each work. Then, the control device determines which of the plurality of workpieces is in the proper posture, and the workpiece is selectively taken out by the picking robot in a state in which its type is specified. That is, the control is used in which the work in a posture in which the picking robot is difficult to take out is excluded and only the work in a proper posture in which it is easy to take out is selectively taken out. This makes it possible to reliably take out a desired work by the picking robot even when a large number of works of a plurality of types are carried at once by setting the carrying speed of the conveyor belt to be high.
As described above, according to the above aspect, it is possible to provide a compact work transfer device capable of transferring a large number of types of works at once.
Preferred embodiments of the above aspect are described below.
In the work transfer device, the control device includes a storage unit that stores in advance master model images of the plurality of works, and the master model images stored in the storage unit and the image detection device detect the master model images. It is determined that the work related to the detected image is in the proper posture when the evaluation index regarding the image matching of the detected image with respect to the master model image exceeds a preset threshold value Is preferred.
According to this carrying device, since the work in the proper posture is discriminated while referring to the master model image stored in advance in the storage unit of the control device, the reliability of the discrimination result can be improved.
In the work transfer device, it is preferable that the conveyor belt is formed as a cone having the same shape such that the cross-sectional area of each of the plurality of locking projections decreases toward the tip side.
According to this carrying device, the space formed between the cones adjacent to each other on the conveyor belt expands from the base end side of the cone to the tip end side. Therefore, even if the size of the work is different depending on the type, the space can be used to reliably lock the work. A cone, an elliptical cone, a triangular pyramid, a quadrangular pyramid, a polygonal cone, or the like corresponds to the cone.
In the work transfer device, it is preferable that the conveyor belt is configured such that the plurality of locking protrusions are regularly arranged on a work transfer surface.
According to this carrying device, a plurality of works can be locked in good balance on the entire work carrying surface of the conveyor belt.
In the work transfer device, the conveyor belt is configured to have an endless annular shape by joining a plurality of sheet members in the transfer direction, and each of the plurality of sheet members has a sheet width on the leading end side in the transfer direction. Preferably has a convex portion provided so as to gradually decrease toward the tip, and a concave portion provided on the rear end side in the transport direction so that the convex portion can be fitted.
In this conveying device, the conveyor belt is formed in an endless annular shape by fitting and joining the convex portion of the sheet member to the concave portion of another sheet member. By forming the endless annular conveyor belt with a plurality of sheet members, the manufacturing cost of the conveyor belt can be kept low. Further, by providing the convex portion on each sheet member, the bending load received by the sheet member when the conveyor belt rotates in the conveying direction is transmitted so as to gradually increase from the tip of the convex portion. Therefore, the sheet members joined to each other are less likely to be separated when the conveyor belt is rotated, as compared with the case where sheet members having a uniform sheet width are used.
It is preferable that the work transfer device includes a work return unit for collecting the work that has not been taken out from the conveyor belt by the picking robot and returning the work to the conveyor belt.
According to this carrying device, by providing the work returning section, it is possible to continue carrying the work on the work carrying surface of the conveyor belt until the work takes an appropriate posture that can be easily taken out by the picking robot.
In the work transfer apparatus described above, it is preferable that the picking robot includes a robot arm section and a work holding section provided on the robot arm section so as to be capable of sucking and holding each of the plurality of works.
According to this carrying device, it is not necessary to perform precise positioning for works of different sizes by holding the works by using the suction force. In addition, it is effective for surely holding a desired work from among a plurality of densely-worked works. Further, the work can be held more quickly than the structure in which the work is gripped and held.
The work transfer device is provided with a plurality of linear feeders for respectively linearly transferring a work by utilizing vibration, and the control device includes the plurality of linear feeders for the work taken out from the conveyor belt. Of these, it is preferable to output a drive signal to the picking robot so that the picking robot can be inserted into a straight feeder corresponding to the type of the work.
According to this carrying device, the work taken out from the conveyor belt can be quickly carried to the next process by using the straight-moving feeder prepared for each kind of work.
Hereinafter, the work transfer device of the present embodiment will be described with reference to the drawings.
In the drawings referred to in the description of the present specification, unless otherwise specified, the first direction, which is the longitudinal direction of the conveyor belt for transporting the work, is indicated by an arrow X, and the second direction that is the width direction of the conveyor belt. Is indicated by an arrow Y, and a third direction which is a vertical direction orthogonal to both the first direction and the second direction is indicated by an arrow Z.

(Embodiment 1)
As shown in FIG. 1, a work transfer device (hereinafter, simply referred to as “transfer device”) 10 of the first embodiment includes a
As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the
The
The
Although details will be described later, the
A
A
The
In this
The picking robot (hereinafter, simply referred to as “robot”) 40 is a robot for taking out the work W from the
The
The
The
The work returning unit 60 has a function of collecting the work W that has not been taken out from the
The
The
The
The
The connecting
The
The
With respect to the
As shown in FIG. 3, the
The
The master model image Im for each of the three types of works Wa, Wb, and Wc is stored in the
The
The
The
According to this
The threshold value Th is preferably set as a value obtained by adding a predetermined margin to the lower limit value at which the

According to the
Here, specific structures of the three types of works Wa, Wb, and Wc will be described with reference to FIGS. 4 to 6.
The work Wa shown in FIG. 4 is a sealing member attached to the vehicle body, and is mainly used for waterproofing to prevent rainwater and the like from entering. The work Wa is made of an elastic material that is elastically deformable and has a work height H1. The work Wa includes a circular lid portion V1 and a cylindrical portion V2 extending from the back surface of the lid portion V1 and having an outer diameter D2 smaller than the outer diameter D1 of the lid portion V1. An upper surface (a circular portion in plan view) of the lid V1 of the work Wa is configured as a held surface that is suction-held by the
Each of the work Wb shown in FIG. 5 and the work Wc shown in FIG. 6 is a sealing member attached to the vehicle body similarly to the work Wa, and is mainly used for dust prevention for preventing intrusion of dust and the like.
The work Wb is made of an elastic material that is elastically deformable, and has a work height H2 that exceeds the work height H1 of the work Wa. The work Wb has a circular lid portion V3 and a cylindrical portion V4 extending from the back surface of the lid portion V3 and having an outer diameter D4 (<D2) smaller than the outer diameter D3 (<D1) of the lid portion V3. I have it. The curved surface (the circular portion in plan view) of the lid V3 of the work Wb is configured as a held surface that is suction-held by the
The work Wc is a work made of the same material as the work Wb and having a similar shape smaller than the work Wb. The work Wc has a work height H3 that is less than the work height H2 of the work Wb. The work Wc includes a circular lid portion V5 and a cylindrical portion V6 extending from the back surface of the lid portion V5 and having an outer diameter D6 (<D4) smaller than the outer diameter D5 (<D3) of the lid portion V5. I have it. The curved surface (circular portion in plan view) of the lid V5 of the work Wc is configured as a held surface that is suction-held by the
The above-mentioned three kinds of works Wa, Wb, Wc are also referred to as grommets, plugs, plug holes, closing members and the like.
Here, the
As a first feature, as shown in FIG. 7, the
As shown in FIG. 8 and FIG. 9, each of the plurality of locking
According to the first feature, the work W put on the
As shown in FIG. 10, such a space S is a space having a size such that any of the cylindrical portion V2 of the work Wa, the cylindrical portion V4 of the work Wb, and the cylindrical portion V6 of the work Wc can enter. It is effective for locking the cylindrical part.
It should be noted that the plurality of locking
As a second feature, as shown in FIG. 7, the
According to the second feature, by forming the endless
Here, the operation of the
As shown in FIG. 11, the
When the
When the
After the loading of the work W is completed, the
Next, a mode in which the
The control by the
Note that another step may be added to this flowchart as necessary, or one step may be divided into a plurality of steps.
The first step S101 is a step of performing a process of acquiring the detected image Id of the work Wa from the
The second step S102 is a step of performing a process of comparing the detected image Id of the work Wa acquired in the first step S101 with the master model image Im read from the
In an example of the second step S102, as shown in FIG. 13, two-dimensional shapes of Im and Id of two images are compared for each of two feature points V1a and V1b of the work Wa. Here, the master model image Im is an image when the work Wa is viewed from above with the lid V1 facing upward. The characteristic point V1a is a characteristic point regarding the shape of the central portion of the surface of the lid portion V1 of the work Wa, and the characteristic point V1b is a characteristic point regarding the shape of the outer peripheral portion of the surface of the lid portion V1 of the work Wa. is there.
The number of feature points can be changed as needed. In this case, the accuracy of the image matching rate E is improved as the number of feature points is increased.
Returning to FIG. 12, the third step S103 is a step of calculating the image matching rate E of the detected image Id with respect to the master model image Im for the work Wa based on the comparison result of the second step S102. The third step S103 is executed by the above-described
In an example of the third step S103, as shown in FIG. 14, a matching rate Ea of the two-dimensional shape of the feature point V1a of the work Wa and a matching rate Eb of the two-dimensional shape of the feature point V1b of the work Wa. , Are respectively calculated. Then, the image matching rate E is calculated by integrating these two matching rates Ea and Eb.
Returning to FIG. 12, the fourth step S104 is a step of determining whether or not the image concordance rate E exceeds the threshold Th based on the calculation result of the third step S103. The fourth step S104 is executed by the above-described
When it is determined in the fourth step S104 that the image coincidence rate E exceeds the threshold Th, the process proceeds to the fifth step S105, and in the fifth step S105, a process of extracting the work Wa related to the detected image Id is performed. On the other hand, if it is determined in the fourth step S104 that the image concordance rate E is less than or equal to the threshold Th, the series of processes for the work Wa is ended. That is, the work Wa is taken out without being taken out.
15 to 18 are referred to for specific examples of the second step S102 to the fourth step S104.
In the work Wa in the state shown in FIG. 15, the lid V1 is in the upward and horizontal state and is locked by the plurality of locking
The work Wa in the state shown in FIG. 16 is locked by the plurality of locking
The work Wa in the state shown in FIG. 17 is locked by the plurality of locking
In the work Wa in the state shown in FIG. 18, the cylindrical portion V2 is in the upward and horizontal state, and the lid portion V1 is locked by the plurality of locking
Returning to FIG. 12, step S105 is a step of outputting a drive signal to the
As shown in FIG. 19, when the work Wa in the proper posture P is taken out from the
After that, the
According to the first embodiment described above, the following operational effects are obtained.
In the above-described
Each work W locked by the plurality of locking
As a result, it is possible to provide a compact
According to the above-described
According to the
According to the above-described
According to the above-described
According to the
According to the above-described
