Description
The present invention relates to a large seedling raising method for stable production of root deep leeks, and a long seedling raising container, device, and winding instrument therefor, and specifically, a continuous row-drawable continuous row used for cultivating root deep leeks. By transferring a small seedling with a leaf sheath diameter (maximum diameter of the leaf sheath) of about 2 to 3 mm grown in a collective pot to a flexible long-length seedling container for secondary seeding, labor-saving and collection of seedlings can be achieved. The present invention relates to a method for growing large seedlings having a leaf sheath diameter of 6 mm or more that can be planted, a long-sized seedling raising container therefor, a device for inserting continuous collecting pot seedlings, and a winding device.
Originally, in the seedling raising of root deep green onion, it was directly sown in a seedling raising field, and when the leaf sheath diameter was about the thickness of a pencil, it was dug up from the seedling raising field and used as a seedling to be planted in the field (hereinafter, basement seedling). ..
In the ground bed seedlings, in order to dig up the seedlings and plant them in the field, labor time of 40 to 60 hours is required per 1000 square meters of the field, and labor saving is required.
Therefore, labor-saving technology to grow seedlings in a seedling tray for root deep leeks, which is about the size of a rice seedling raising box (about 30 cm x about 60 cm), or a continuous collection pot that can be pulled out in rows, and planted with a dedicated planting machine or equipment is available. It has been developed and is widely used for root deep-root onion cultivation in combination with ground bed seedlings or by single use.
The seedlings grown in the above-mentioned seedling raising trays or continuous collection pots that can be pulled out in rows are labor-saving for raising seedlings and planting, but they are small seedlings with a leaf sheath diameter of 2 to 3 mm, so the growth at the initial stage of planting is unstable. However, there is a problem that it takes a long time to harvest. This is one of the causes of destabilizing the production during abnormal weather such as heavy rains in recent years and extreme heat in summer, even in the cultivation using seedling raising trays or continuous collection pots that can be pulled out in rows, Growing and using large seedlings instead of small seedlings is considered as a means to stabilize production.
As methods for raising large seedlings, there are methods to reduce the seeding amount per seedling raising tray and continuous collection pots that can be pulled out in rows, and methods to replant small seedlings into a large-capacity seedling raising pot, etc. It is difficult to secure labor saving in collecting and growing large seedlings and planting them in the field, and it is not widely used as a cultivation technique for root deep leeks. As a prior art relating to large seedling raising, there is a technique disclosed in Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 6-90626, but since it is a method using hydroponic method, it is not introduced in Nebuka spring onion production area which does not use hydroponic method for raising and cultivating seedlings. difficult. Further, as a prior art relating to secondary seedling raising, there is a technique disclosed in Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 7-308125, which is a technique premised on hydroponic cultivation such as hydroponic leaf onions, and is used for cultivating root deep leeks. It is not possible.
The present invention has been made in view of such circumstances, and provides a method for cultivating large seedlings capable of labor-saving collection and planting of seedlings in the cultivation of root deep leeks.
The present inventor, in order to solve the above problems, as a result of repeated studies, small seedlings grown in row-drawable continuous collecting pots used for cultivation of root deep leeks are made of a flexible material. , The bottom of the container and the side walls on both sides of the container are pulled into the container, and after supplying the culture soil mixed with the slow-release fertilizer, the culture soil is set so that it can be moved to the nursery bed and the soil is always wet. By carrying out secondary seedling while irrigating multiple times during the day, large seedlings that can be collected and planted labor-savingly were able to be grown.
The long-sized seedling-growing container used in the present invention is entirely made of a flexible synthetic resin, the side walls on both sides connected to the container bottom without a gap have elasticity in the direction of falling inward, and contain small seedlings and culture soil. In the state before use in which the side wall is not supported by a device or the like, the angle inside each joint between the side wall on both sides and the container bottom is 0 degree or close to 0 degree, and the side walls on both sides and the vessel bottom are the same. They are flat plates and are overlapped with each other, and the side wall bottom portions in contact with the container bottom face are joined to the respective ends of the container bottom face so that the side walls can be raised during use. When using small seedlings and culture soil to be used for secondary seedlings, the side walls on both sides of the long-sized seedling container should be raised, and the seedlings and culture soil should be inserted into the opening of the container. is there.
Large seedlings obtained by secondary seedling by the above method, roots have developed on the bottom surface inside the container of a long-sized seedling container, of multiple seedlings in the state of maintaining the interval when put into a long-sized seedling container. A belt-shaped root portion connecting seedling in which roots are intertwined into a belt shape, and a plurality of grown large seedlings can be wound up like a series of belts to be collected and planted in a field.
Since the inside of the long-sized seedling raising container used in the present invention is not divided by a partition or the like and is connected, the seedlings are raised in a continuous collecting pot which can be pulled out in a row at the openings generated by raising the side walls on both sides. By inserting small seedlings and culture soil one after another, it is possible to continuously expand the space between plants and to replant them, thus enabling labor-saving replanting at the time of secondary seedlings.
Since a long-sized seedling container made of a flexible synthetic resin is used, when collecting large seedlings grown after secondary seedling, the long-sized seedling container of the nursery bed can be pulled up from the edge to allow the operator's own The grown large seedlings can be labor-savingly collected one after another without changing the position. The long seedling raising container after use can be wound up and collected, and can be stored compactly.
When the secondary seedlings of the root deep green onion are secondary-grown by the method of the present invention, a plurality of large seedlings in an open state between the plants become a belt-shaped root-coupled seedling that is connected in a belt-like manner by entanglement of roots. After raising seedlings, they can be wound up and collected, and can be planted in the field labor-savingly using a continuous collecting pot seedling transplanting machine.
By using the large seedlings according to the method of the present invention, compared with the case of using the small seedlings raised in the conventional seedling raising pots or continuous collection pots that can be pulled out in rows, the period from planting to harvesting is shortened, and Even when planted in July, when the growth in the midsummer is more stable than in May, which is the autumn harvest type, it is possible to harvest in the autumn when a high unit price can be expected.
INDUSTRIAL APPLICABILITY The present invention provides a method for raising large seedlings capable of labor-saving labor recovery and planting, thereby facilitating the use of large seedlings in a root deep-sea onion production site. Therefore, the present invention greatly contributes to the stable production of Nebuka leek.
FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a long seedling raising container used in the present invention, and FIG. 2 is a cross-sectional view of the long seedling raising container used in the present invention, which is a flexible synthetic resin sheet (preferably polyethylene) having a thickness of about 0.15 mm.
A continuous collection pot that can be pulled out in a row is filled with a commercially available seedling cultivation soil, seeds of root deep green onions are sown, and seedlings are grown for 1 month to 2 months to grow small seedlings. By pulling out the seedlings in a row from a continuous collecting pot that can be pulled out in a row, and inserting the seedlings together with the culture soil into the

When the

After the start of secondary seedlings, if the growth progresses and the diameter of the leaf sheath becomes 6 mm or more, it becomes a suitable time for planting in the field. Hereinafter, the present invention will be specifically described based on Examples, but the present invention is not limited to the following Examples.
A row of row-pullable continuous collection pots (264 holes) used for cultivating root deep leeks were seeded with 528 seeds of root deep leeks in 2 holes each, 528 seeds, and seedlings were grown for 28 days to grow

After planting, fertilization is managed according to the customary technique (additional fertilizer is added once in the half of the area where the secondary seedlings were raised), harvested 144 days after planting, and root cutting, leaf cutting, and peeling are performed to achieve the normal shipping form. After peeling, the preparation weight was investigated according to the shipping standard. The results are shown in Table 2.
