Description
The present invention relates to an optical element manufacturing apparatus, an optical element manufacturing method, and an optical element manufacturing apparatus setting method.
Generally, in an optical element manufacturing apparatus, a molding die is disposed between flat plates, at least one of which is movable, facing each other, and the molding material is heated, pressed and cooled by the die. By doing so, an optical element is manufactured.
The optical element manufactured by such a method has a problem that the decentering accuracy of the manufactured optical element deteriorates unless the pressing surfaces of the two plates for pressing the mold are parallel to each other. With respect to such a problem, for example, Patent Document 1 proposes a manufacturing apparatus provided with an adjusting mechanism for adjusting the parallelism between the plates.
The adjustment of the parallelism between the plates using the adjustment mechanism proposed in Patent Document 1 is an extremely precise adjustment work, and considering the safety of the work, etc., in a state where heat or pressure is not applied to the manufacturing apparatus. There is a need to do. However, in the process of heating and press molding that actually manufactures an optical element, it is inevitably affected by thermal deformation of the manufacturing apparatus and bending of the manufacturing apparatus due to the pressing force of the plate. Even if is adjusted, the parallelism changes during manufacturing.
Further, in the adjusting mechanism as proposed in Patent Document 1, there is usually variation in the tightening degree of the screws for attaching the adjusting mechanism to the manufacturing apparatus. It is difficult to adjust the degree accurately. Moreover, the adjustment of the parallelism requires precision as the eccentricity accuracy of the optical element is improved, and the adjustment becomes difficult. Moreover, if an attempt is made to adjust the parallelism between the plates in the first place, a complicated adjusting mechanism is required, which increases the cost.
The present invention has been made in view of the above, and an apparatus for manufacturing an optical element having a high decentering accuracy without adjusting the parallelism between plates, a method for manufacturing an optical element, and a setting for the apparatus for manufacturing an optical element. The purpose is to provide a method.
In order to solve the above-mentioned problems and achieve the object, an optical element manufacturing apparatus is an optical element manufacturing apparatus that press-deforms a molding material arranged in a mold to mold an optical element, An upper plate and a lower plate each having a press surface that applies a pressing force to the upper mold and the lower mold that configure the mold are provided, and the upper plate has a relative inclination between the press surfaces of the upper plate and the lower plate. It is characterized in that the correction member transferred is provided with a connecting member that can be mounted on the pressing surface.
Further, the optical element manufacturing apparatus according to the present invention, in the above invention, comprises the correction member, the correction member, the inclination transferred to the correction member, so that the inclination of the press surface is the same, It is characterized in that it is attached to the pressing surface of the upper plate by the connecting member.
Further, the optical element manufacturing apparatus according to the present invention is characterized in that, in the above invention, the correction member is made of a material that does not deform in a manufacturing temperature zone of the molding material.
In order to solve the above-mentioned problems and achieve the object, a method for manufacturing an optical element is such that a pressing force is applied to a mold by pressing surfaces of an upper plate and a lower plate, and a molding material arranged in the mold. A method for manufacturing an optical element using a manufacturing apparatus for molding an optical element from, wherein a correction member molding material made of a material that is not deformed in a manufacturing temperature zone of the molding material is used as an upper die having a planar transfer surface. And a pressing surface of the upper plate and the lower plate by applying a pressing force to the correcting member mold by the upper plate and the lower plate. After molding the correction member in which the relative inclination of each other is transferred, a setting step of mounting the correction member on the press surface of the upper plate, and an upper mold and a lower mold having a transfer surface for creating a desired optical functional surface The molding material is arranged in the mold constituted by a mold, and a pressing force is applied to the mold by the upper plate and the lower plate via the correction member, and the optical function surface is applied to the molding material. And a manufacturing step of transferring
In order to solve the above-mentioned problems and achieve the object, the setting method of the apparatus for manufacturing an optical element is such that pressing force is applied to the mold by the pressing surfaces of the upper plate and the lower plate, and the device is arranged in the mold. A method of setting a manufacturing apparatus for molding an optical element from a molding material, comprising: a molding material for a correction member, which is made of a material that does not deform in a manufacturing temperature zone of the molding material; Is arranged in the correction member mold, and pressing force is applied to the correction member mold by the upper plate and the lower plate, so that the pressing surfaces of the upper plate and the lower plate are opposed to each other. It is characterized in that the correction member is mounted on the pressing surface of the upper plate after molding the correction member having the transferred inclination.
According to the present invention, the relative inclination of the press surfaces can be canceled by pressing the molding material through the correction member that transfers the relative inclination of the press surfaces of the upper plate and the lower plate. Therefore, it is possible to manufacture an optical element having high decentering accuracy without adjusting the parallelism between the plates.
Embodiments of an optical element manufacturing apparatus, an optical element manufacturing method, and an optical element manufacturing apparatus setting method according to the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. The present invention is not limited to the following embodiments, and constituent elements in the following embodiments include those that can be easily replaced by those skilled in the art, or those that are substantially the same.
[Optical element manufacturing equipment]
The optical element manufacturing apparatus according to the present embodiment (hereinafter, referred to as “manufacturing apparatus”) is for molding an optical element (glass lens) by pressing and deforming a molding material (glass material) arranged in a mold. As shown in FIG. 1, the molding apparatus 1 and the mold set (mold) 10 are provided.
The molding apparatus 1 is a circulation molding apparatus that continuously circulates the mold set 10 conveyed into the
The
Each stage (
The
The
The
The
The
Here, the inclination between the
When the optical element is actually molded, this inclination α is affected by the thermal expansion and thermal deformation of the members constituting the molding apparatus 1, or the bending due to the pressing force of the
As shown in FIG. 8, when the molding material M is pressed while the upper and lower press surfaces 311 and 321 have a relative inclination α, the inclination α is also transferred to the optical element after molding. As shown in the figure, when the gap between the
Therefore, in the present embodiment, as shown in FIG. 1, the
[Method for manufacturing optical element]
Hereinafter, a method of manufacturing the optical element according to the present embodiment using the manufacturing apparatus will be described with reference to FIGS. As shown in FIG. 2, the optical element manufacturing method according to the present embodiment includes a manufacturing apparatus setting step (manufacturing apparatus setting method) S1 and an optical element manufacturing step S2.
In the setting step S1 of the manufacturing apparatus, as shown in FIG. 3, the correction member molding material Mc made of a material that does not deform in the manufacturing temperature range of the molding material M is set in the correction member mold set (correction member mold) 40. This is a step of arranging and correcting the
In the setting step S1 of the manufacturing apparatus, for example, a glass material “L-LAH53” is used as the correction member forming material Mc. L-LAH53 is a material having a yield point At=607° C. and a transition point Tg=574° C., and has a property that it is easy to mold near 607° C. and does not deform at 574° C. or lower. The correction member molding material Mc is not limited to L-LAH53, but is composed of a material that does not deform in the manufacturing temperature range of the molding material M, as described later. The shape of the correction member molding material Mc is, for example, a cylindrical shape having a thickness of 5 mm, and the upper surface and the lower surface are polished.
The correction member mold set 40 includes an
(Heating process)
In the setting step S1 of the manufacturing apparatus, first, the correction member molding material Mc is arranged in the correction member mold set 40, and the correction member mold set 40 is transported to the
(Pressing process)
Subsequently, as shown in FIG. 3, the correction member die set 40 is conveyed to the
(Cooling process)
Subsequently, the correction member mold set 40 is transferred to the
(Installation process)
Finally, as shown in FIG. 4, the
Further, when the
5 shows a state in which the
In addition, as shown in FIG. 6, for example, a marking 354 made of a linear groove or the like is provided on the
In the optical element manufacturing step S2, as shown in FIG. 4, a molding material M is arranged in the mold set 10 and a pressing force is applied to the mold set 10 by the
In the manufacturing process S2 of the optical element, for example, a glass material "S-FPL51" is used as the molding material M. S-FPL51 is a material having a yield point At=489° C. and a transition point Tg=458° C., and has a property that it is easy to mold near 489° C. and does not deform at 458° C. or lower. Further, the shape of the molding material M is a ball shape (spherical shape), and the surface is polished.
In the optical element manufacturing process S2, as described above, in the

(Pressing process)
Subsequently, as shown in FIG. 3, the die set 10 is conveyed to the
(Cooling process)
Subsequently, the mold set 10 is conveyed to the
According to the optical element manufacturing apparatus, the optical element manufacturing method, and the optical element manufacturing apparatus setting method according to the above-described embodiments, the
[Modification]
For example, when the molding material M for molding the optical element is changed to another temperature range, or when the molding apparatus 1 is maintained, the
The molding apparatus according to the modified example does not include the
