Description
The present invention relates to a ship in which an upper structure is installed on the upper deck of a hull, and particularly to a ship in which a fuel tank is arranged on the upper deck.
Conventionally, many types of ships such as cargo ships, container ships, and tankers use heavy oil as fuel for navigation. However, environmental pollution due to harmful substances contained in exhaust gas generated by combustion of heavy oil has become a problem, and regulations on the use of heavy oil have been tightened year by year due to international treaties and the like. Therefore, recently, as a fuel suitable for environmental protection instead of heavy oil, a ship using liquefied gas such as LNG (liquefied natural gas) or LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) as a navigation fuel has been developed.
As described above, a ship using liquefied gas as a fuel for navigation needs to have a fuel tank for liquefied gas, but since liquefied gas fuel has a lower density than heavy oil, it is necessary to relatively increase the capacity of the tank itself. was there. Therefore, when the fuel tank for liquefied gas is installed inside the hull, there arises a problem that the volume of a space for loading cargo decreases inside the hull.
In order to solve such a problem, a ship has been proposed in which a liquefied gas fuel tank is installed on the upper deck instead of inside the hull. For example, according to the ship described in Patent Document 1, the bridge structure is provided on the upper deck behind the hold section, and the fuel tank is also installed on the upper deck. Here, the fuel tank is arranged so as to be sandwiched between two side structures of the bridge structure or two chimney structures independent of the bridge structure in a plan view, and on the central axis of the hull width direction. Was located in.
By the way, the applicant of the present application, as described in Patent Document 2, relates to an upper structure to be installed on the upper deck of a ship, in which a horizontal cross section of an upper structure having a living area and an engine room casing adjacent thereto is We have already proposed a ship that has a streamlined shape, the living area and the engine room casing are at the same height, and the air resistance is small. Here, the upper structure is located on the central axis of the hull width direction on the upper deck of the stern side of the hull.
However, in the above-mentioned conventional ship, when the fuel tank is installed on the upper deck similarly to the description of Patent Document 1, on the premise of the upper structure described in Patent Document 2, it is described in Patent Document 2. In order to prevent the upper structure and the fuel tank described in Patent Document 1 from interfering with each other, they need to be arranged side by side in the longitudinal direction of the ship.
When the upper structure and the fuel tank are arranged long in the front-rear direction of the ship as described above, in the case of a freight ship, in particular, it becomes impossible to load the cargo on the cargo hold located below the fuel tank. Therefore, there arises a problem that not only the area on the upper deck is occupied over a long region in the front-rear direction, but also the volume of the space for loading cargo inside the hull is reduced. In addition, the fuel tank described in Patent Document 1 has a problem that even if a failure occurs due to a failure or the like, there is no price in one case.
The present invention has been made by paying attention to the problems of the conventional techniques as described above, and makes it possible to install a fuel tank without reducing the cargo loading capacity, and yet to provide either one of them. It is an object of the present invention to provide a ship that can substitute the other fuel tank even if a problem occurs in the fuel tank.
A ship (10) according to the present invention has been made to solve the above-mentioned problems, and a ship (10) in which an upper structure (20) is installed on an upper deck (12) of a ship (11). In the above, the fuel tanks (31) are arranged on both sides of the upper structure (20) on the upper deck (12) orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of the hull, and the lower layer portion (20B) of the upper structure (20) is disposed. However, the fuel tank (31) is provided with a projecting portion (27) projecting to a port side of the hull (11) with a predetermined width from both side ends of the main body portion (20A) located above the lower layer portion (20B). , At least a part of which overlaps with the protrusion (27) in plan view.
As described above, by arranging the fuel tanks (31) on both sides of the upper structure (20) on the upper deck (12) of the ship (10) with securing spaces, respectively, By effectively utilizing the area, it is possible to prevent the reduction of cargo loading volume. Further, since the fuel tanks (31) are separately installed with the upper structure (20) interposed therebetween, even if one fuel tank (31) malfunctions, the other fuel tank (31) It has little effect on 31) and can be substituted. Further, a part of the upper structure (20) can be utilized as a part of a support structure for disposing the fuel tank (31) on the upper deck (12) at a distance.
In the ship (10), the fuel tanks (31) arranged on both sides of the upper structure (20) are formed in a pair with the same shape, and are symmetrical with respect to the center line of the hull. It is good to place it in a state. This facilitates maintenance of the fuel tank (31) and balances the weight of the ship (10).
Furthermore, in the ship (10), the fuel tank (31) is the liquefied gas fuel tank (31) as a liquefied gas fuel tank (31) for storing liquefied gas fuel used in the main propulsion engine of the ship (10). ), a fuel oil tank (33) for storing fuel oil used in the main propulsion engine of the ship (10) is also provided, and the fuel oil tank (33) is connected to the liquefied gas fuel tank (31). ) Is preferably placed inside the hull (11).
As a result, both the liquefied gas fuel in the liquefied gas fuel tank (31) and the fuel oil in the fuel oil tank (33) can be used in the main propulsion engine or the like. Further, since the liquefied gas fuel tank (31) and the fuel oil tank (33) are located vertically with the upper deck (12) in between, the fuel is supplied from the tanks (31, 33) close to each other in distance. It is possible to collectively arrange the system with respect to the main propulsion engine and the like.
ADVANTAGE OF THE INVENTION According to the ship which concerns on this invention, it becomes possible to install a fuel tank, without reducing the cargo loading capacity, and even if one of the fuel tanks fails, the other fuel tank substitutes. be able to.
Hereinafter, embodiments representative of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
The
As shown in FIG. 1 and FIG. 2, in a
The liquefied
The liquefied
The specific shape of the liquefied
Further, the liquefied
The liquefied
Regardless of which support structure is used to support the liquefied
As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the inside of the
A section located in front of (in front of) the
Each section between the engine room 15 and the
As shown in FIG. 3, inside the
As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, fuel oil such as heavy oil (HFO) or diesel oil (MDO), which is a fuel of the
In the present embodiment, in addition to the liquefied
The
The
The
As shown in FIG. 4, in the
If the maximum width of the
The

As a result, at the rear of the
That is, when the liquefied
Further, the pair of liquefied
Further, in the
Further, in the
Further, the
As a result, in the
Further, since the liquefied
5 and 6 show a modified example of the present invention.
A
Like the liquefied
Further, the liquefied
Also in the
Although the embodiments of the present invention have been described above with reference to the drawings, the specific configuration is not limited to the above-described embodiments, and there are modifications and additions within the scope not departing from the gist of the present invention. Also included in the present invention. For example, although the example in which the
INDUSTRIAL APPLICABILITY The present invention can be widely applied to various ships such as cargo ships, container ships, and tankers as long as the upper structure is installed on the upper deck of the hull.
