Description
The present invention relates to a lens unit, a camera module including the lens unit, and a method for manufacturing a diaphragm member of the lens unit.
In recent years, an on-vehicle camera has been mounted on an automobile to support parking and prevent collision by image recognition, and further application to automatic driving has been attempted.
Such an on-vehicle camera is also exposed to the harsh temperature environment when the vehicle is exposed to cold and hot environments, and further, the on-vehicle camera arranged outside the vehicle is affected by cold wind and snow. Or it may be overheated by sunlight.
On the other hand, due to the incorporation of cameras into mobile phones (smartphones) and the like, there is a great demand for high-performance and low-cost cameras, and relatively inexpensive resin lenses have become widespread.
Members such as resin lenses and resin lens barrels can also be used in in-vehicle cameras, but in in-vehicle cameras that are placed outside the vehicle, they can be exposed to low temperatures and high temperatures as described above, and are exposed to rain, snow, hail, etc. In many cases, a glass lens and a metal lens barrel are used to compensate for the temperature characteristic.
As an example of a conventional lens unit, the one described in
The diaphragm member limits the range of light passing therethrough, and by arranging the diaphragm member at an appropriate position, flare and ghost can be appropriately suppressed, and the optical performance of the camera can be improved.
The diaphragm member arranged between the lenses is attached to a flange portion (a portion of the lens that abuts a member adjacent to the lens barrel in the axial direction of the lens barrel) provided on the outer circumference of the lens-having portion of the lens. By being sandwiched, the position of the lens barrel in the axial direction is determined. Therefore, the position of the diaphragm member in the axial direction of the lens barrel can be appropriately set by changing the shapes of the flange portions of the pair of lenses that sandwich the diaphragm. However, in the case of a glass lens, since it is usually manufactured by a glass mold manufacturing method, it is difficult to process the flange portion into a complicated shape, and even if it is possible, the manufacturing cost increases. Further, even in the case of a resin lens, if the flange portion has a complicated shape, the resin is not poured properly when the lens is injection-molded, and a weld is generated at an improper position. Performance may not be obtained.
The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and provides a lens unit capable of disposing a light blocking portion of a diaphragm member at a desired position, a camera module including the lens unit, and a method for manufacturing a diaphragm member of the lens unit. The purpose is to do.
In order to solve the above problems, the lens unit of the present invention is
A lens group in which a plurality of lenses are arranged along the optical axis of the lens, a lens barrel that integrally supports the lens group, between at least one lens of the lens group, or the object side of the lens group Alternatively, a lens unit including a diaphragm member arranged at an end portion on the image forming side,
The diaphragm member is provided with a diaphragm function plate-shaped portion having a hole in the center for blocking light and a flange portion of an adjacent lens, and determines the position of the diaphragm function plate-shaped portion in the optical axis direction. And a diaphragm positioning plate-shaped portion,
The diaphragm function plate-shaped portion and the diaphragm positioning plate-shaped portion are directly connected or connected via a connecting portion,
The position of the diaphragm function plate-shaped portion in the optical axis direction is shifted to the object side or the image formation side with respect to the position of the diaphragm positioning plate-shaped portion in the optical axis direction.
According to such a configuration, the position of the diaphragm member in the optical axis direction is determined by supporting the diaphragm positioning plate member in a state where at least one surface of the diaphragm positioning plate member is in contact with the adjacent lens. .. The diaphragm positioning plate-shaped portion and the diaphragm function plate-shaped portion are arranged at different positions in the optical axis direction. Therefore, it is possible to dispose the light blocking portion of the diaphragm member at a desired position without changing the shape of the portion (member) that supports the diaphragm positioning plate portion, such as the flange portion of the lens.
Therefore, the amount of transmitted light can be limited by the diaphragm member at an appropriate position, and the performance of the lens unit can be improved. Further, when the diaphragm member is positioned in contact with the glass lens, it is not necessary to arrange a spacer or the like on the flange portion of the glass lens to adjust the position of the diaphragm, which can reduce the manufacturing cost and further improve the position accuracy. Can be secured. Further, when the diaphragm member is positioned in contact with the resin lens, it is not necessary to mold the flange portion of the resin lens in accordance with the arrangement position of the diaphragm member, and it is possible to suppress deterioration of optical performance.
The supporting portion may also have a function of blocking light.
Further, the lens unit of the present invention,
A lens group in which a plurality of lenses are arranged along the optical axis of the lens, a lens barrel that integrally supports the lens group, between at least one lens of the lens group, or the object side of the lens group Alternatively, a lens unit including a plurality of metal plate-shaped diaphragm members arranged at the end portion on the image forming side,
The plurality of diaphragm members are provided adjacent to each other,
Each of the plurality of diaphragm members is provided with a hole through which light passes,
The hole provided in one of the plurality of diaphragm members is smaller than the hole provided in another diaphragm member of the plurality of diaphragm members.
With such a configuration, the plurality of diaphragm members are arranged adjacent to each other between the lenses or at the end of the lens group on the object side or the image forming side. Therefore, the position of the diaphragm member can be displaced by the increased number of diaphragm members as compared with the case where there is only one diaphragm member. Therefore, the other diaphragm member can be adjusted so that the specific diaphragm member is in an appropriate position. Further, since the hole provided in one of the plurality of diaphragm members is smaller than the hole provided in the other diaphragm member of the plurality of diaphragm members, the edge of the hole of the diaphragm member having a small hole is That is, it is located inside the lens barrel in the radial direction with respect to the edges of the holes of the other diaphragm members. Therefore, the thickness of the edge portion of the through hole that passes through the plurality of diaphragm members does not become thicker than in the case where there is one diaphragm member, and only the light to be blocked can be blocked.
Further, the camera module of the present invention,
A lens unit according to
With such a configuration, the camera module can achieve the same operational effects as the above-mentioned lens units.
Further, the manufacturing method of the diaphragm member of the present invention,
A lens group in which a plurality of lenses are arranged along the optical axis of the lens, a lens barrel that integrally supports the lens group, between at least one lens of the lens group, or the object side of the lens group Alternatively, in a method of manufacturing a diaphragm member for manufacturing the diaphragm member used in a lens unit including: a diaphragm member arranged at an end on the image forming side,
The diaphragm member is manufactured by etching or plating.
By manufacturing the diaphragm member by etching, the thickness of the diaphragm member and the thickness of the step between the portion that functions as the diaphragm of the diaphragm member and the portion that functions for positioning are adjusted in micrometers. You can Therefore, the position of the portion of the diaphragm member that functions as the diaphragm can be adjusted in units of micrometers. Further, the etching process makes it possible to form the diaphragm member by setting the surface roughness of the diaphragm member to some extent. Since it is usually desirable for the diaphragm member to have a low reflectance, it is common to subject the diaphragm member to a surface treatment for lowering the reflectance. By using the etching process, the surface roughness can be adjusted and the reflectance can be reduced, so that the surface treatment step can be omitted and the manufacturing cost of the diaphragm member can be reduced.
Also, the thickness of the diaphragm member can be adjusted in units of micrometers by manufacturing the diaphragm member by plating.
According to the present invention, the light blocking portion of the diaphragm member can be arranged at a desired position.

By forming the stepped
According to the etching process, the roughness of the surface of the stepped
Although the stepped
As shown in FIG. 3A, the stepped
Further, the connecting portion 20 may have a shape inclined with respect to the optical axis direction as shown in FIG. In addition, the inclination of the connecting portion 20 in this case may be a smooth slope, or may be formed by a plurality of steps. That is, the connecting portion 20 may have any shape as long as it can shift the positions of the
It is preferable that the connecting portion 20 has a radially inner end portion that is radially outer than a radially inner end portion of the narrowed
Further, the narrowed
By using the stepped
Further, since the positions of the
Further, since it is not necessary to form the shape of the portion of the lens that sandwiches the diaphragm member in accordance with the diaphragm member, it is possible to perform optimum design and manufacture in terms of optical design for each of the lens and the diaphragm member.
Furthermore, since the position of the diaphragm can be changed without adding another member between the positioning

As a modification of FIG. 3 (c), a shape as shown in FIG. 3 (d) is also conceivable. That is, the radial outer end of the narrowed

Further, the etching process and the plating process may be used together.
Next, a second embodiment of the present invention will be described. FIG. 4 is a sectional view showing the second embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 5 is an enlarged view of the Y circle portion of FIG. The first embodiment and the second embodiment are different from each other in the X circle portion and the Y circle portion, and the other portions have the same configuration. Therefore, the Y circle portion will be described below.
As shown in FIG. 5, the
The
The diameter of the hole provided in the center of the

In the present embodiment, since the plate-shaped
