Description
The present invention relates to an intake air rectification device for an internal combustion engine, and more particularly to an intake air rectification device disposed in an intake passage of an internal combustion engine that includes an EGR passage that connects an exhaust passage and an intake passage of the internal combustion engine.
BACKGROUND ART An internal combustion engine (engine) mounted on a vehicle such as an automobile, for example, a naturally aspirated engine or an engine equipped with turbocharging has an intake passage connected to an intake manifold and an exhaust passage connected to an exhaust manifold. The exhaust passage and the intake passage are connected by an EGR (exhaust gas recirculation) passage. A compressor of the turbocharger, an intercooler, and a throttle device are arranged in the intake passage from the upstream side, and a turbine of the turbocharger is provided in the exhaust passage. The EGR passage is connected to the intake passage downstream of the throttle device.
The throttle device for the intake passage includes a throttle body forming the intake passage and a throttle valve arranged inside the throttle body, and an intake rectification device having a rectifying member is provided downstream of the throttle valve in the intake passage. Are arranged (for example, Patent Document 1).
As described above, in the internal combustion engine provided with the EGR passage, a part of the exhaust gas is introduced into the intake passage through the EGR passage and mixed with the combustion air (fresh air) to control the combustion temperature and pump loss. Can be reduced and the thermal efficiency of the internal combustion engine can be improved. Further, the intake rectification device can reduce the intake noise generated when the throttle valve is suddenly opened by the rectification member.
However, the EGR gas introduced into the intake passage from the EGR passage is relatively high in temperature and contains a large amount of water. When the rectifying member cooled by fresh air comes into contact with the rectifying member, condensed water may adhere to the rectifying member. Further, the condensed water adhering to the flow regulating member may be cooled and frozen.
If such condensed water or frozen ice separates from the rectifying member and is introduced into the engine body, it may cause a misfire of the engine.
The present invention has been made in view of the above problems, and an object of the present invention is to provide an intake air rectification device for an internal combustion engine that can prevent generation of condensed water that causes engine misfire.

With this configuration, by heating the rectifying member by the heating unit, it is possible to prevent the rectifying member from being cooled by fresh air, and as a result, it is possible to prevent condensed water from adhering to the rectifying member.
According to this configuration, the heat generated in the internal combustion engine can be used for heating the rectifying member, and it is not necessary to separately provide a heat generating device or the like for heating the rectifying member, so that power consumption can be suppressed. be able to.
Further , according to this configuration, the rectifying member can be heated by the high temperature EGR gas flowing through the EGR pipe that is the heating unit . Further, since the rectifying member is provided in the vicinity of the confluence of the intake passage and the EGR passage, the portion of the EGR pipe forming the heating means can be made relatively short, and the installation space for the heating means can be suppressed.

In an intake air rectification device for an internal combustion engine, which is provided on a side of the throttle device, the air flow rectification device for an internal combustion engine includes a rectification member near a confluence portion with the EGR passage. It is characterized by comprising a heating passage communicating with the formed hot water passage and extending along the outer periphery of the rectifying member.
An intake air rectification device for an internal combustion engine according to claim 4 is the intake air rectification device for an internal combustion engine according to claim 3, wherein the heating means heats the rectification member with hot water heated by the internal combustion engine. It is characterized by
According to this configuration, the heating device is provided with the heating passage that is connected to the hot water passage formed in the throttle body of the throttle device and that extends along the outer periphery of the rectifying member, so that the throttle device is heated by the hot water passing through the hot water passage. In addition, the rectifying member can be heated by the hot water passing through the heating passage communicating with the hot water passage. The member can be heated.
An intake air rectification device for an internal combustion engine according to claim 5 is the intake air rectification device for an internal combustion engine according to claim 3 or 4, wherein the heating passage is arranged in a substantially annular shape so as to surround an outer periphery of the rectification member. It is characterized by being done.
According to this configuration, since the heating passage is arranged so as to surround the outer periphery of the rectifying member, the heat transfer coefficient to the rectifying member is increased, and the generation of condensed water can be effectively prevented.
ADVANTAGEOUS EFFECTS OF INVENTION According to the intake air particle size regulating apparatus for an internal combustion engine of the present invention, cooling of the rectifying member by fresh air is prevented, and as a result, condensed water that causes engine misfire is prevented from occurring in the rectifying member. it can.

As shown in FIG. 2, the rectifying

In FIG. 2, the arrow indicates the flow direction of the EGR gas passing through the
In the
Further, in the intake
In the conventional intake rectification device that does not have the heating means 45, when the temperature difference between the fresh air and the EGR gas is large, such as during cold start, the high temperature EGR gas containing a large amount of water is cooled by the fresh air. In contact with the straightening member, condensed water was generated on the straightening member. If this condensed water separates from the flow straightening member and is introduced into the engine together with the intake air, it may cause a misfire in the engine. Further, since the condensed water contains the sulfur component contained in the EGR gas, the strongly acidic condensed water may corrode each part in the air flow passage. On the other hand, in order to avoid such a situation, if the reuse of the EGR gas in the engine is stopped at the time of cold start or the like, it becomes impossible to achieve low fuel consumption.
In the
In addition, in the above-described embodiment, the

A third embodiment of the present invention will be described based on FIG. FIG. 6 is an enlarged schematic cross-sectional view of a portion II of FIG. 1, and is a diagram illustrating an outline of the intake
Note that, in FIG. 6, parts corresponding to those in the first embodiment are designated by the same reference numerals. In the third embodiment, detailed description of the same configurations as the first embodiment will be omitted.
In the present embodiment, the
The intake
The
The
In the intake
The present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiments, and various modifications can be made without departing from the spirit of the invention. For example, an electric heater arranged along the outer circumference of the rectifying
