Claims (1)
- 機関排気通路内に配置され、排気ガス中の粒子状物質を捕集するためのパティキュレートフィルタと、
前記パティキュレートフィルタ上流の機関排気通路内又は前記パティキュレートフィルタ内に配置されたSOx捕捉触媒であって、流入排気ガスの空燃比がリーンのときに排気ガス中のSOxを捕捉し、前記SOx捕捉触媒の温度がSOx放出温度であり流入排気ガスの空燃比が理論空燃比又はリッチのときに捕捉しているSOxを放出するSOx捕捉触媒と、
前記パティキュレートフィルタのアッシュ付着量を減少させるために前記パティキュレートフィルタの温度をあらかじめ定められたアッシュ脱離温度まで上昇させて該アッシュ脱離温度に保持するアッシュ脱離制御を行うように構成されたアッシュ脱離手段であって、前記アッシュ脱離温度は前記アッシュを酸化カルシウムに変換するのに適した温度でありかつ前記SOx放出温度よりも高い温度である、アッシュ脱離手段と、
前記SOx捕捉触媒のSOx捕捉量を減少させるために前記SOx捕捉触媒の温度をあらかじめ定められたSOx放出温度まで上昇させて該SOx放出温度に保持しつつ前記SOx捕捉触媒への流入排気ガスの空燃比を一時的にリッチに切り換えるSOx放出制御を行うように構成されたSOx放出手段と、
前記SOx放出制御を行うべきときには、まず前記アッシュ脱離制御を行い、続けて前記SOx放出制御を行うように、前記アッシュ脱離手段及び前記SOx放出手段を制御する制御手段と、
を備えた、内燃機関の排気浄化装置。
