Claims (13)
- 第1基板と第2基板;
前記第1基板上に備えられ、複数の画素を定義するように互いに交差配列されたゲートラインとデータライン;
前記第1基板上で前記複数の画素それぞれに備えられた画素電極;
前記第1基板上に備えられ、前記画素電極と共に電界を形成する共通電極;
前記共通電極の抵抗を減らすために、前記共通電極に接続された補助ライン;
前記第1基板と前記第2基板との間に備えられ、セルギャップを維持するカラムスペーサー;および
前記カラムスペーサーの移動範囲を制限するために、前記第1基板上に備えられた移動防止壁を備え、
前記移動防止壁は前記補助ラインと離隔されており、
前記移動防止壁が、前記補助ラインと接触することなく、1つ以上3つ以下のデータラインと重畳することにより、島構造を形成するために、前記ゲートラインと同じ方向に延長され、
前記カラムスペーサーは1つのデータラインと重畳し、前記移動防止壁は前記カラムスペーサーと重畳している前記1つのデータラインと重畳する液晶表示装置。 - 前記移動防止壁が、前記補助ラインと同じ層上に備えられ、かつ、前記補助ラインと同じ材料で作られる請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記移動防止壁が、前記共通電極と連結されている請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記移動防止壁が、第1方向に延長され、互いに離隔されている第1移動防止壁および第2移動防止壁を含む請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記カラムスペーサーが、前記第1移動防止壁と前記第2移動防止壁の間に備えられている請求項4に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記第1基板上に備えられ、前記ゲートラインから延長されたゲート電極をさらに備え、
前記第1移動防止壁が前記ゲート電極と重畳し、前記第2移動防止壁は前記ゲートラインと重畳している請求項4に記載の液晶表示装置。 - 前記第1移動防止壁および前記第2移動防止壁が、前記ゲートラインと同じ方向に延長されていて、前記補助ラインは、前記データラインと同じ方向に延長されている請求項4に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記移動防止壁が、第2方向に延長される第3移動防止壁および第4移動防止壁をさらに含み、
前記第3移動防止壁が、前記第1移動防止壁の一端と前記第2移動防止壁の一端を連結し、前記第4移動防止壁は、前記第1移動防止壁の他端と前記第2移動防止壁の他端を連結する請求項4に記載の液晶表示装置。 - 前記第3移動防止壁と前記第4移動防止壁が、前記データラインと重畳しながら、前記データラインと同じ方向に延長されている請求項8に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記カラムスペーサーが、前記第1移動防止壁、前記第2移動防止壁、第3移動防止壁および第4移動防止壁の組み合わせによって提供された四角形構造内に備えられている請求項8に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記移動防止壁が備えられているそれぞれの画素が、前記移動防止壁が備えられていないそれぞれの画素よりも小さい開口率を有する請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記カラムスペーサーと隣接するそれぞれの画素が、前記カラムスペーサーと隣接していないそれぞれの画素よりも小さい開口率を有する請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記補助ラインが、前記ゲートライン及び前記データラインとそれぞれ重畳するよう備えられる請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
